The trainers here are exceptional--they're constantly watching your form during lifts and providing real-time corrections to ensure you're working safely and effectively. The gym itself is impressively clean and well-organized, with equipment always in its place and ready to use. What really sets this place apart is the structured programming: every quarter you test your one-rep max, then follow a tailored program designed to increase your strength over the next three months. I've felt myself getting stronger week by week, and the staff has been incredibly accommodating with modifications as I manage knee arthritis. Cody deserves special recognition for keeping things fun and engaging. Right now he's running a bingo card challenge where hitting certain objectives earns you a Starbucks gift card, and during the holidays he did a "12 Days of Christmas" raffle for everyone who showed up. These little touches keep you motivated and create a great community atmosphere. If you're looking for a gym with knowledgeable trainers, smart programming, and an environment that makes you actually want to show up, I can't recommend Harter Strength and Conditioning enough.

The…read moreconcept is working out in a 125 degree infrared sauna to help torch calories during and after your workout while watching a pre-recorded video workout. It sounded inviting and with all the variety of workouts you can sign up for, including pilates, yoga, cycling, rowing, bands, iso, and barre, I thought this would be an amazing new workout studio to supplement my gym membership. I ended up signing up when they were running a special so I got my mat & towel (which they require you to purchase) for free, which would've been valued around $99. Monthly dues are $59 for unlimited access to this location. At first I enjoyed going to Hotworx and trying out the vast variety of workout videos. However, about 3-4 weeks in, I had tried all the workouts at least once and I noticed the videos were the same and were never being rotated out. As with any workout that you don't change up, you will hit a plateau. They were boring and no longer challenging since my body was used to the same workout routines and I had practically memorized all the moves. After a month, I decided to put in my cancellation but I was then told that you need to be a member for three months before you are eligible to put in a 60 day cancellation notice. I've never heard of gyms/studios that try to lock you in like Hotworx did. Not to mention they NEVER disclosed the part of having to be a member for three months prior to putting in your cancellation notice when I signed up. Out of the five months I have been there, their workout videos have not changed once. They did, however, add in the new barre classes. If you're looking for a workout that is boring, predictable and you want the same exact routine, look no further. Definitely try out all the classes and make sure you want to commit to at least 5 months before you sign up here!

Therefore I feel the need to do my duty and warn the community about this gym. I've been going here since they opened the doors & simply loved it. My group of friends began to build a community here, then the "owner" came crashing in - changing times - coaches - policy's. Fast forward to yesterday for the 4:30 pm class, walked in at 4:33pm and the new "head coach" basically said sorry bout ya and to come back for the 6pm class. (This was my instagram comment before deleted and blocked) This is also the same location, where after the turn over of coaches happened, the owner waltzed in at 4:59am to train the 5am class. Glad the standards are set high. There are plenty of other gyms around, some with a very similar style, but do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Business ownership 101: you don't delete negative reviews - you approach them in a calm and connected manner to find a solution. Lastly you don't screw over your members, they are the ones paying the bills.

They offer a 1-week free unlimited classes trial so I would definitely take advantage of that. The facility is pretty clean and the coach does a great job of making sure you're taking care of your body by keeping you accountable on your form or giving modifications if needed. They are more circuit type of workouts so it reminds me of Orange Theory classes. Of course what you put in is what you get out of it. I would recommend this gym to anyone who's looking for more of HIIT interval workouts! They also provide water bottles (for free!) and towels during your workout for you.
