I actually needed three runners (long hallway!) but only bought two - just in case they looked cheap/were not as described! They took one week to arrive - I was given a tracking number and they arrived on time. Fedex left them outside - they did not ring the doorbell but they never do anyway. The runners are really gorgeous! Even my husband commented on how beautiful they looked. The listing was very accurate - including the pictures. They are thick (1/2") -by my standards- and better quality than similar rugs I bought at TJMaxx (much better quality than Target for sure as I had checked them in the store). Any thicker and I would not have been able to open the various doors in my hallway. They do not look cheap or shiny, no synthetic smell either. It took a day for all the wrinkles to disappear (I did roll the runners in the opposite direction for one minute and this took care of 95% of the wrinkling, good old dictionaries for a day on the fringes). No shedding so far and they are really easy to vacuum. They hide dog hair really well too (black and white puppy!) I am planning to get the third runner and another rug for my living-room this week. As I have a puppy, I am not looking for expensive rugs, just good-looking rugs that I don't have to pay much for. Overall, it was really smooth experience and I was really surprised by the negative comments - this is what prompted my review. This company probably sells rugs from many different wholesale companies - which probably means differences in quality, quality control, etc. My runners were well-packaged with packaging from the wholesale/brand company. Esalerugs has a free return policy - unlike all the other websites I looked at (J&M, Wayfair, etc).

No one told me and Lori Ann assisted me as if she had all day. I looked around and realized that they must be closing but found out that they were closed. I felt awful keeping her so I left. I went back in today with plenty of time to look. I was on the phone talking to a friend. I walked past Lori Ann working on something. I said hello and proceeded to look. I was on the phone so really wasn't looking for assistance. Next thing I knew she was silently behind me helping move the rugs to make it easier for me. How sweet that was. I got off the phone and we chatted. She had the guys take down the rugs for me. They were just as sweet. She gave me tips and pros and cons on my looks. She was incredibly patient, kind and helpful. I have to tell you that this is really the best place to buy a rug. They eve let you take the rug home and try it out for 7 days. You do have to pay for it but it comes with an easy exchange or return policy. They load it into the car for you. I had such a wonderful experience that I am trying out 2 rugs. Thank you so much for all of your help. I will definitely recommend Rugs and Home.

Also the service is always fantastic for cleanings, they really give you the VIP treatment, move the furniture for you, etc. I got free delivery and pick up, a deep wash, and a corner of my rug repaired because the dog chewed it... They actually repaired it by HAND- it's a hand-woven rug after all, you can't just take it to any place... I'm so happy. (Booked my spot from their website: https://pinevilleruggallery.com/cleaning/) The owner (Rayza? Reza?) was willing to negotiate a deal for me too, considering all my extensive requests. One of my favorite parts about dealing with a small local business - they actually care. Great value considering all the services they offer. I will never go anywhere else!

His selection of rugs is unsurpassed, his knowledge is encyclopedic, and best of all, he is one of the finest human beings that you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. My wife and I have purchased several rugs from Zaki in the past 10 years, and we have likewise guided relatives, friends and neighbors to his showroom. I could go on for thousands of words about the incredibly vast selection of rugs, the heirloom quality of their construction, and the beauty of the designs, but words cannot convey the true impact of spending time with Zaki and his team. Like most of his clients, we were profoundly saddened to learn that he will likely be closing the showroom in 2020, in order to focus on his incredibly generous charitable endeavors, working with children in his native Pakistan. There is only one Zaki, go there now, while you can!

We immediately felt at home with Zaki, his wife, and his staff. They took the time to walk with us throughout his immense showroom and explain the histories and details of his one-of-a-kind rugs, of which there were thousands. The prices of the rugs were more than reasonable, and Zaki is donating his earnings to an incredible cause - a charity focused on building orphanages and educating underprivileged children in Pakistan, where he grew up and has worked for years to give young people opportunities. Suffice it to say that we left High Point feeling wonderful.
