By no means am I a rug expert. I just like what I like and I know it when I see it. And I have been looking for awhile for rug to compliment the other pieces in my place. I have no idea why I had not come across Rug Land Dallas before now. Regardless, I am thankful I found out about it a few weeks ago. Upon walking in the door I was immediately greeted by Scott who welcomed me to the store and offered his assistance. This is a fairly small shop that makes excellent use of the space.This place has a lot of different rug styles and prices to choose from. Seriously, it contains lots and lots and lots of rugs. Therefore, I highly recommend going with the assistance when offered. It made my shopping experience so much easier. Scott asked me a few questions including budget, style, rug size, etc. Thankfully I had a picture of the area where the rug would go and it's furnishing which was very helpful (bring pictures). Within no time, Scott had identified several rugs (within my budget and style) for me to choose from. I made my selection and was on my way in what seemed like no time. They do not deliver but will roll up the rug and put it in your vehicle. I am extremely pleased with how well the rug looks in my place. If/when I'm in need of more rugs this will definitely be my first (and likely) only stop. Rug Land Dallas has a very nice selection, excellent pricing options and superb service. Scott was absolutely amazing. We explained that we had to get an 8' by 11' rug for our new table and chairs. Anything smaller would not work for the size of our new dining room set. We also explained the style of our house and color scheme. Scott asked to see any photos we might have. I showed him photos of our hard wood floors, a photo of the new dining room table and chairs we needed the rug for, asked him about pile sizes. We discussed possible colors we thought might work. They also can cut rugs if you need to have a custom option. Don't bother going anywhere else if you need an immediate rug. Go to Rugland and ask for Scott. We went to Rugland at 10am when they opened and drove off with both rugs in our far by 11am. Now we're enjoying them in our new home. They are even more beautiful than in the store.
