To their credit, the business did take responsibility and reimbursed me for the full vet bill and medication costs. I truly appreciate that gesture it helped relieve some of the financial and emotional stress this situation caused. That said, Yelp discourages removing reviews that document genuine customer experiences, so rather than delete my original post, I'm editing it to reflect how the situation was resolved. WellGroomed ultimately did the right thing by covering the medical expenses, and I'm grateful for that. I still believe they have skilled groomers and do great work with many breeds, but this experience was a reminder that even premium services can have oversights. I hope the salon uses this as an opportunity to reinforce careful handling and post-groom checks for all pets so that no owner or pup has to go through something similar again.

I called after 2 hours to find out what was happening and I was told he was ready. When I got there I asked why she didn't call me and she nonchalantly said right as she finished with my dog she had two dogs show up and the owner didn't leash them so she spent half an hour chasing the other dogs. She acted like it was the other owner who was inconsiderate and that it was normal to take dogs without leashing them before the owner left. She never apologized and made light of my dog's feelings when I stated he was angry. My dog is only 11 pounds. If either of the unleashed dogs were aggressive my dog would not be alive. At first I thought I would not use Tabitha again but now I also blame the salon because Tabitha was alone when I got there, which shows bad scheduling on the salon's part.

They get my dog from me out front, and after paying sanitize my card every single time. My dog comes back happy, not traumatized, and always looks exactly how I asked. Even though it's now a 35 minute drive each way, I will continue bringing my baby to The Wag.
