What a great experience Doolittle's Doghouse has been not only for our dog but for us as well! We have a one year old dog that has a lot of energy and requires a lot of mental and physical activity but she is also quickly overstimulated and easily frightened making it a difficult task to find appropriate care for her. Our worries were quickly put to rest when we found Doolittle's. Tori found us a great Nanny from her pack of wonderful sitters. We talked about the best way to introduce this new situation to our dog and decided a couple of playdates and some overnight stays would best help her adjust and to work up to being with her Nanny for a full week. It was a perfect scenario and a great fit for our dog. The Nanny was attentive to all of our dog's needs and sent us regular texts on how she was doing. The week we were leaving for our trip I got a phone call from Tori that our Nanny had to leave town for a family emergency. We were devastated to learn this news as we had worked so hard getting our dog used to this nanny with playdates and sleepovers. In fact, she had gotten to the point that she was excited to go over to this Nanny's house and was so used to the routine that we weren't worried at all about leaving her for a week. Tori, however, was wonderful with this situation and right away said that she would personally take care of our dog. She did everything to ease my mind that our dog was going to be well cared for while we were away. We quickly set up two meet and greet appointments. When we arrived for our first appointment Tori's had turned off the ice maker (so our dog would not be scared of it) and had special treats for our dog so that she would know right away that Tori was a special friend. I was most impressed that when we walked into Tori's home almost immediately Tori knelt down to our dog's level pet her and talked to her in a soothing voice so she would feel comfortable. I very much appreciated that Tori's interaction was focused on the dog and not with me as this was, for us, all about our dog. Tori's calming presence helped reduce our dog's normal level of anxiety so much so that she felt confident enough to explore Tori's home all on her own (a definite first for our dog)! Immediately after we left our dog with Tori I received daily text message updates and lots of pictures of a VERY HAPPY dog. It gave me such PEACE OF MIND knowing that our dog was in such good hands. Tori provided excellent communication from start to finish. She went above and beyond when caring for our dog. In fact, on the last day of care, our dog caught what turned out to be a 24 hour stomach bug and she could not contact us as we did not have cell service that day. Tori called our vet, talked with them extensively and decided on a plan of action for our dog. She then went so far as to swing by the vet's the next day after our dog returned home and picked up her meds and some special dog food for her tummy and dropped it all off for us at our house. AMAZING. Your dog is truly in excellent hands when you entrust them to Doolittle's Doghouse. I highly, highly recommend Doolittle's excellent service as they are definitely 100% dog focused and passionate about giving your dog a great experience away from home. I am so happy I found Doolittle's Dog House! As a parent of a precious fur baby, I, like so many, found myself stressing to find someplace for my pup to stay while I went out of town. I wanted some place I could trust to care for my pup as I would...I wanted someone who would give him the love and attention he is accustomed to and deserves...I didn't want him kenneled all day...I didn't want him to be just a number. So many of the kennel options charged additional fees to give a dog 30 minutes a day of one on one attention...plus there was an additional for a belly rub! What??? That environment did not fit at all what I was looking for! I desperately looked at many options...but nothing felt right and didn't give me the peace of mind I needed. All my prayers were answered with Doolittle's Dog House! Doolittle's Dog House came highly recommended from a personal dog trainer who practices force free training, so I knew I was on the right path. Tori, at Doolittle's, is so sweet and makes sure she gets the right Nanny/dog fit for her clients. Tori recommended Nanny Marilyn, who is just SUPER! When I met Marilyn for the initial 'meet and greet' which in and of itself a wonderful thing to ensure both parties are comfortable with each other before proceeding with the service. Marilyn is so down to earth and sweet and the connection was immediate. My little one is a very active little dog and Marilyn was great with him. She took him on daily walks and provided me with continual updates and pictures. She treated Mickey with great care and treated him like one of her family. We absolutely love Doolittle's Doghouse! Tori is the absolute best. Whenever we travel, they send our wonderful doggie nanny to stay overnight in our home with our pups, and it gives us complete peace of mind. Instead of stressing about boarding or worrying if our dogs are lonely, we know they're safe, loved, and cared for right in their own environment. Having someone there to be sure your home is secure and safe whie you are away is an amazing perk as well! Our nanny is professional, kind, and clearly a dog person through and through. They handle everything - feeding, walks, playtime, snuggles, and even send updates so we don't miss them too much while we're away. Our dogs adore their nanny and barely seem to notice we're gone (which, honestly, is the best feeling!). What sets Doolittle's apart is the trust factor. Letting someone stay in your home overnight is a big deal, but they've always been respectful, reliable, and responsible. It feels like leaving everything with family. What a fabulous experience from start to finish for both me and my dogs. No crates, no being played with for just a few minutes a couple of times and no being alone overnight. Here's the story..... My husband and I were supposed to be driving to Oregon for a family function with our 2 dogs. Unfortunately, a medical situation came up forcing us to fly and not take our pups. I called Doolittle's Doghouse on Saturday and spoke to the owner Tori (who was out of town by the way). I explained our situation...Tori was wonderful! She could tell I was stressed. She was so calm, calmed me down and by Monday she had lined up a "nanny" for us. I use the quotes because Megan, Colby and Gage are now like family. They are just warm, natural people who love dogs and people. My pups took to them immediately and felt very at home in their house and with their dog Hercules. I have boarded before, but this was the first time I've picked them up and they were happy and even relaxed when we got home. I could tell they had a great time. I can't say enough good things about Doolittle's Doghouse! If you have to board your dogs, Tori and her team will take the stress out of the experience and you and your pets will have a great time. read more

There are not enough words to describe Tori and her amazing dog-nannies! We have been using Tori and her services for over 2.5 years now. We are first time dog owners to a 3 year old Labradoodle, Teddy, and were so worried about leaving our beloved, spoiled pup at a boarding facility for our first trip 2.5 years ago. Luckily we found Doolittle's and have not had to worry since!! They take extremely good care of our Teddy and treat him like he is their own dog. He gets to stay in someone's home (not a crate at a boarding shelter), gets free run of the house/yard all day long (not in 15 min increments that you have to pay extra for at boarding facilities), he even gets to sleep in bed with them! He is just as spoiled when he stays with Doolittle's as he is at our own house. Tori is extremely accommodating, friendly, and very knowledgable. She takes extra time to learn all about your dog (and your family!) and places them with the right fit/right family for your individual pup. Having known Tori for years I wasn't as concerned about the prospect of using Doolittle's Doghouse services, but I did have reservations about trusting complete strangers with the care of our 9-year old yorkie, Katie, and 3-year old yorkie mix, Linus. However, as soon as we met the nannies Tori recommended, our reservations were quickly replaced with trust. Joe and Marti, our nannies, offered everything we needed to leave our fur babies behind while we attended a family reunion in another state. Not only did they send us daily pictures of our little ones enjoying their "vacation" they also communicated with us the various "tails" about their daily walking adventures around the community, gentle and numerous tummy rubs and of course, burgers from the grill. We definitely recommend Doolittle's Doghouse for anyone not interested in leaving fur babies alone at night in a cold cage with boarding kennels. We can't say enough good things about our first-time experience with Doolittle's Doghouse! Last month, we acted on the recommendation of one of our dog-walking acquaintances and retained Doolittle's for a 2-1/2 week stay in our home to take care of our frisky cockapoo and long-haired cat. Tori spent a lot of time with us beforehand to understand our pets and our needs and assigned us Loretta, who was a perfect fit. Loretta texted us everyday with updates and photos so we could see that our pets and our house were in good hands. Our pooch and kitty were showered with attention, were able to stick with all their routines, and were so well-adjusted that they didn't skip a beat when we returned. Plus, they were brushed and beautiful, and the house was spotless. They were also well cared for by Joe and Marti, who filled in for Loretta on the first night due to a schedule conflict. Tori cheerfully made all this happen over a busy holiday weekend. Having an in-home nanny was the right choice for us, and Doolittle's has won us over. We just got home from a 10 day trip where we left our 1 year old pup, Penny with Jeri and Mike from Doolittle's. We have had pets our whole life and have used many sitters and boarding facilities. Doolittle's Jeri and Mike offered by far the most amazing experience we've had with sitters and we know Penny had a blast. They have a huge yard with farm animals surrounding the property (in neighbors yards) which gave Penny an opportunity to learn to settle down around different animals. Jeri and Mike exercised her, did tons of training and agility course work, and sent us videos/pictures everyday just because they wanted to ease our minds that she was in good hands. We know Penny has a 2nd family now and Jeri, Mike and their dog, Paris will always be friends of ours. I have always worried about leaving my 2 dogs when out of town...and am so grateful for the wonderful care my dogs receive through DooLittle's Doghouse. The owner, Tori, carefully selected a host home " nannies " who are fully dedicated to caring for my dogs from " check in" to " check out" . I couldn't be more pleased with all the attention they receive while "guests." ...lots of love, great walks and attention to the details of their lives that make me feel like they are treated as family. I love receiving a daily text and picture.....provides reassurance that they are having a great day while we are away. Would also recommend day care options...I found so helpful when we had home renovation to keep the " girls" out of harms way. A friend referred us to Doolittle's and we were not disappointed! My husband and I were out of town for several days and we needed an in-house sitter for our 3-year-old, 55 lb "puppy". Sandy was the BEST! During her initial visit to meet us, she took the time to bond with Princess and very obviously knew her way with dogs (and more importantly, their quirky, over-protective owners). Once we were on our trip, we received regular texts and pictures from Sandy and it was great to have that connection. She was able to "trick" Princess into her harness so they could go on daily walks - Princess can be very fussy about putting on her harness. The house was in great shape when we returned - any dishes or towels she used were washed and clean. She even had to deal with a leaky toilet that we had not yet fixed. I could not have been happier or more satisfied with the service provided by both Tori and Indrani during a recent visit in Scottsdale. I had searched and called daycare facilities and was surprised at how many were set up where they caged the pets...which was not for us. I did find a few but then was talked out of pursuing the service because the owner felt it was too far from where were staying...feeling a little defeated I gave it one more try and found Dootlittle's! It is perfect, the pet is placed in a home where the nanny might or might not have pets and they are with them 24/7. We had our meet and greet and viola, Eliot felt right at home! Indrandi gave us updates via text and feed him per our instructions. Our little guy is a fussy eater but somehow she had him eating right out of her hand. We were very apprehensive about leaving our Tucker, an 8 year old Terrier mix in day care while we were in Scottsdale for spring training. We have only left him once before about 7 years ago and it was not good. Doolittle's Dog House has shown us what pet sitting is supposed to be like. We used their services for 2 days. Our Manny Ray was such a nice guy. Tucker took to him right away and couldn't wait to go out in the backyard to check out the quail and wild bunnies. The second day when we drove up he knew right where we were and couldn't wait to get out and see Ray. A really good sign! From start to finish our experience with Doolittle's and Ray were A+. We inherited my Mother's 2 cocker spaniels 2 years ago. Doolittle's Doghouse and nannies, Dee and Harvey, have been taking loving care of Amber and Abigail for these 2 years. Our girls spend several days a month with Dee and Harvey and we feel very blessed that they have become an extension of our family. Our doggies are so excited when they arrive at their nanny's home and we leave our girls in their loving care with a complete peace of mind. I am the mom of a mischievous elderly beagle named Rusty. His nose has caused him trouble in the past and he needs to be watched carefully, especially at feeding time.
