She noticed I was from out of state, explained wear and tear on my vehicle, and the issues that I would be facing because of it. She was incredibly professional, courteous, and knowledgeable, and she made sure to explain the services done to my vehicle and what I would need in the future based on my driving. My technician was Ernesto. The write up and explanation I received was clear, concise, and helpful. My husband and I arrived with a scheduled appointment and a clean, guaranteed Kelley Blue Book (KBB) Instant Cash Offer for our vehicle. From the start, the experience was highly disorganized; we were left waiting in the lobby with no designated salesperson while an online representative took our keys for an "assessment." When a salesperson finally assisted us, they showed zero interest in our preferences and made no effort to help us find a replacement vehicle. After we requested to see numbers, a sales manager came to the desk, treated us as if we were being unreasonable, and promised to run the figures. I called today to ask when it was recommended to replace the timing chain on a civic and I was told at 105,000 miles. I called another honda in the region and I was told that unless there is something wrong with it, it doesn't need to adjusted or replaced. it should last entire life of the car. Their dealer Ricardo Knox was trying to sell me a base 2025 civic for 30k before taxes and letting me know they could not ask for a lower price. i went to Honda on the east and in 5 minutes I got the Civic Sport for 28k after taxes. Terrible communication skills, every time id try to work with him or validate my reasons he would just send a . very immature for a grown man. I only gave permission to run my credit through 3 credit bureaus. After it was known that i wasn't going to be getting my car there anymore Mr. Knox went ahead and ran me through 4-5 other credit bureaus which i did not consent to. On 12/9/2021 I had my wife take her CR-V to get a groaning noise checked out and possibly to turn the front rotors. We've previously used them for our services, oil changes and parts for the last 3 years. After waiting 2 hours before telling her it was going to get a diagnosis done, she took an Uber home. About an hour later, she gets a call saying the rear brake pads are almost metal to metal and the fronts are close behind, so may as well do those as well. Front rotors were definitely warped, so turning them made sense. I had changed the pads and rotors myself 11 months ago, so unless there was a major issue, that made no sense. Called and told the service advisor to take pictures, and no pictures ever arrived. Called and told him just to go ahead and turn the rotors, but leave the pads. $170 bucks. Finally got around to taking the wheels off and checking them today. All 4 corners look about a year old, nowhere close to, "metal to metal." The brake turn job is abysmal, I'll give them that it doesn't shake anymore in the front, though. I'll be going to other Honda dealers from now on. read more

I purchased a 2021Honda CRV Touring from Rudolph Chevrolet The sound alert of the safety system is not working. I made an appointment with the service dept ,explained my issue, took my car in, and was told this is a diagnostic issue and I would have to leave my car a minimum of 2 or 3 days. I had so much doubt about taking my car to the dealership but since my AC was starting to call quits on me, i thought it would be best to have the dealership take care of it. I was stressing out about being able to manage my time if i have to leave my car for hours at a time. To my surprise, their shuttle service was very much available to drop me off somewhere and pick me up again once its done with their services. That was super convenient! I was afraid i would be stuck there for hours or have to walk somewhere to get some kind of productivity. The shuttle service driver was even shared between Honda, Mazda, and one other dealership close by. His name is Gary and he is the most professional and friendliest person to repsresent their services! He made my experience that much better especially since i had to come back again. They didnt exactly have extra blow motor parts on hand the first time i brought my car in which kind of put a hamper on my work schedule. I try to minimize the amount of time i have to miss work for my personal issues. So i was a bit disappointed that they wouldnt be able to fix it the first time i brought it in on my day off. Thankfully my boss is very understanding so i came back later that week. I had to come by around 0700 and the first shuttle service wasnt until 0800. So i didnt mind waiting since i was able to enjoy a delicious cup of their latte from the machine they have in their lounge area. PLUS they bring complimentary pan dulce and donuts from a local bakery! How nice! That smoothed things over for me plus they ensured that they gave me an accurate quote with no surprise extra charges. In fact, they even lowered the cost with my military discount which i was not expecting! That was truly appreciated. There are still a few services that seems more expensive than other places but i wouldnt mind considering them if it guarantees no surprise issues and high quality customer service! read more

Just a word to the wise. DO NOT BUY A HONDA CIVIC until you have researched the air conditioning problems. We purchased a 2020 Honda Civic Sedan and before I made the 2nd payment, the vehicle's air conditioning quit. LESS THAN TWO MONTHS!!! We took the vehicle in and Claudia (Service Dept) said "there is a leaky valve in the a/c compressor and we have to order the part." We waited 10 days. We received an update that the compressor would be replaced "the following Friday." True to their word, it arrived and it was installed. My son reports no problems (in the last month) with the a/c and is happy with his car. Rudolph (as well as ALL the other Honda dealers) knew about the a/c problems before selling us the vehicle, but made no mention of it during the sales process (which I consider deceptive trade). Having dealt with Rudolph Honda's repair shop for years, I can say they provide adaquate-at best-service. Reaching someone on the phopne is impossible-they do not pick up the phone and rarely answer/check voicemail. So-called "little things" speak volumes: after spending $550+ I would think the least they could do is wash the car. No, no, no-"Due to Covid" they do not offer that service any longer. Nevermind all the services that cost $ are still available-even months after the White House declared "the end of the pandemic." Guess Toyota and Lexus didn't get the memo-they wash customers cars. WORST buying experience I have ever had. Short verison at very bottom. So 7/23/19 I went into Rudolph Honda on a recommendation from a friend and talked to a seller (note: I am not going to name them as it would probably have obvious negative consequences and while I feel like they would deserve it, his family doesn't deserve to be treated like mine was.) about buying a used car. My car recently had engine problems and failed me at the worst possible time. I just had a baby, my wife just graduated and was looking for a job and I just had major surgery a few months ago At first the experience was very good, they had complimentary soda, drinks, sometimes even snacks. People were nice, and the place seemed well kept. This quickly started to become a nightmare. We were shown around some used cars and we eventually asked about a Red Honda Fit we saw online. This car was perfect for us. The drawback however was it was still being cleaned and about to be put on sale in a few days. About a week goes by and I ask for updates on the car, to hear on 7/24/19 that the car was ready and we should come look at it. It was hard to get there with a 10 month old baby and needing the help of a friend to get us there as we did not have another car. Finally we roll in about 5pm. We are told that someone else is interested in the car and they have to go take the car to show the other party soon. We look at the car seems good, and are told if we do the paper work first its ours. (Pretty standard so far, though I hated feeling like I was rushed). This is where shit started to go down hill. We end up being there until almost 8:30 at night about a hour past my daughters bed time. As anyone with a younger child knows consistent bedtime is important. We are told by a both the seller and some random guy that he brought over that don't worry we definitely have the car and to come in at our convenience tomorrow. We ask him three times, are you SURE we don't need to come in early, and was told no don't worry. So I say okay we will be in around 2pm tomorrow. so around 12pm the next day I get a text from this seller saying, you need to get here ASAP or someone is going to buy the car in cash and all this crap. I am mad at this point, i say okay what the hell I don't like being mislead he said that there was no reason to worry last night the car was ours. I find out he wants a few extra documents which I send him and tell him I can be there in a hour. He never tells me exactly what is going on with the different seller he just says no there is no misleading sir. A hour goes by, we are told there is another issue and my wife needs to retrieve her social security card. At this point i am fairly annoyed at the entire event, because the seller clearly doesn't know what he is doing. So we pack up the baby and drive 20 minutes back to our apartment to get these documents and come back. Now apparently there is some issue with one of the banks that is financing our the car so I talk to them and get is straightened out. At this point I have not seen ether the seller or the finance guy for the past 30 minutes or so. After I get off the phone having corrected the issue with the bank the seller leads us to the finance area and makes small talk. Than leaves and the Financial officer comes in. He informs me unfortunately they sold the car to someone else already. I am furious at the incompetence and disrespect of these people at this point. I was told the night before don't worry since we did some paper work that night things where okay, only to have them push me the next day. The seller did not have the respect or the balls to tell us to our face what had happened and had to force the finance guy to tell us. Than the had the audacity to try and offer us different cars at a higher price point. I expect the sales people to try and screw us out of money, but we did not deserve to be treated with blatant disrespect and be mislead. Edited: 8/8/2019 So talked to the sales manager who responded below, decided to give them a second chance. He did seem concerned about the issue that happened, however i voiced my concern over working with the salesmen and fiance guy from before and was told don't worry I will work with you and deal with this myself you won't' have to deal with anyone else. I meet with him on monday earlier this week and found out that what he said was not the case and pushed me to go back to the same salesmen. I did not see or him from him after that. In the end I went to audi and got a used car there, with no hassle, and a very fair deal. **This review is for the service department** Absolutely awful customer service, stopped in here on the way back home as our Odyssey ran into a problem. Was told that since I was traveling out of state I would get priority. Waited 4 hours just for an initial diagnosis even after they hooked up the computer and had the initial error codes 5 minutes after I arrived. Then when they finally had a tech look at the problem and knew what it was they waited around for the after market part to be delivered. I offered several times to pick up the part at the AutoZone that was 1.5 miles away. I knew this because I called and found the part at AutoZone.. Every time I inquired about the issue I was told we're working on it but the vehicle wasn't even in the bay. Over 5 hours spent at this place waiting to fix a common problem (a bad speed sensor) and that's with PRIORITY... Unbelievable.. Stay away from this place. read more

Went here after having visited another Honda dealership - unfortunately, we were looking for a used Honda Civic and they really only had 2 on the lot, one of which had some of the window rubber peeling off and the other had a seat issue. Our salesperson was very nice and was clearly trying to be helpful, as soon as we got there he offered us a drink from their drinks station which is massive. It had a soda machine, coffee station and a popcorn machine. Right next to it was a kids station so that the kids could hang out while their parents car shopped (brilliant marketing strategy). In terms of their salespeople, I give a 5. They clearly get a lot of business because there were lots of people there getting cars from them. Unfortunately, they really couldn't lower the prices enough to get into our price range and the choice of Japanese cars on the lot were limited. 3 stars for choices. Also, the cars on the lot didn't look like they were taken care of very well. That being said, it looks like you can get pretty good deals for non-japanese cars since there were a ton of people buying cars today. read more

John Brady Sales Consultant was not pushy, very nice....but I had given his general manager specific numbers and interest rate limits as to where I wanted to be. They called me at home and said they would accommodate the price and interest rate discussed. When I arrived, the finance manager had a whole different story. A much higher interest rate. They wasted half my day. I was will to put half down on a brand new car. A big disappointment. I thought I would be driving home a brand new car. I do not recommend this place. read more

My girlfriend and I went to the dealership to buy a new CRV. We should have known this dealership was garbage by two red flags! 1) I pulled up in my Mercedes that is fully loaded, with tint, chrome everything, etc and the same exact car without all the things my car has (same year as well) was listed $18,000 more than my car! We still went to look. A nice salesman came outside to help. We test drove the CRV (2021) and a Honda Accord Hybrid (2021). The second red flag was that both cars have a "dealership addendum next to the MSRP sticker". With three nonsense charges that equal $2000. Some nonsense of ETCH or something to that affect. Salesman told me it's like insurance and if the car gets stolen they will give me $5,000 if I buy the next car at Rudolph or $3,000 if I buy the next car at another dealership. (Again, insurance for IF the car is stolen) I told him we have to have insurance regardless so why would we pay for this $5,000? Makes no sense! Then for Nitrogen in the tires. Hmmm, just put regular air in please and how can I prove the tires have Nitrogen? Definitely not from their word! Then the last fee was fir four oil changes for the next two years. That was like $350. First off, doesn't new cars come with this anyways? All my cars did! Secondly, the warranty lady or man when I go thru finance will try to upsell me the insurance and any warranty with oil changes at that point and I have a choice! Charges had nothing to do with actual things done to the car! They are all just upsells! And they try to make them mandatory. Btw this isn't even the start of this! My girlfriend decides to go with the CRV. MSRP was right around $32,070. They came back with some nonsense payment of $750 a month with $3500 down payment. I asked how did u come up with these numbers? U don't even know her credit! (Which her credit score is over 800) the answer was these numbers are based off what we tell everyone so there is no discrimination. I said well that makes no sense! How about u tell us the APR ur charging and then tell us the monthly payment! (Btw, my girl can just put cash for the car). So he comes back and gives us another number of like $3500 down payment and $640 a month for 72 months. Now at this point we are upset and frustrated. As he now tells us it's 2.9% APR. so can anybody tell me how a $32,000 car is $3500 down and $640 a month for 72 months? Then we said look "just give us the correct cost! The salesman says "how much are u willing to put down and pay a month? Just write it down. We said just tell us the correct price based off the APR man! He said no write it here! So my girl just writes down $2,000 down payment and $500 a month. He says "sign next to it" as if it's mandatory to buy if he gets it to that point. Now the manager comes back to talk to my girl and I was on the phone with my daughter. Came back and the manager is a short Puerto Rican that has been in EP for 22 years and tries to connect to my girl as she is also Puerto Rican. I guess he was trying to be nice before he tried to rob her! Then he proceeded to tell her the amount is close but it needs to be around $550 per month, blah blah blah. My girl says just give me everything in writing (she has a masters degree in finance and accounting. (Trying to pull one over her smh) we got tired of the nonsense. So I pointed at the first and second set of numbers and asked how the hell did he come with with these numbers and present them to us and now ur trying to get the payment almost $200 less. He says "oh that price is if u finance with a full warranty" I told him we both know that is bullshit. He says "what is bullshit" (all defensive) I said ur damn numbers are what is bullshit! He got loud and I told him he better watch who he is talking loud to (I'm a 240lb body builder and boxer) he tried to get loud and act hard and I let him know he isnt in charge of shit! I bought a 2013 Honda Civic Si from Rudolph, and while the vehicle itself is an exceptional car I think it stands in stark contrast to the practices and personnel employed by Rudolph Honda of El Paso. First off, any sort of ridiculous extended warranty or whatever else they can try to sell you then they will. They're very pushy on these things, and they're difficult to deal with. The staff itself will outright ignore you or walk away if they don't perceive an immediate sale. Dealt with that when a friend and I went by to look at used cars for him. Another time I went in with a different friend to Rudolph Mazda, and when they ran his credit, of which he didn't have very much due to being newly employed and right out of school, they were very rude and overlooked him, aside from crudely stating that "he was lucky to get 13% APR". Fun fact - he got a SIGNIFICANTLY better rate at the local Ford dealership, and he now drives a Ford Focus, which has been very good to him. Furthermore, as soon as my vehicle was up for a 'renewal' on its warranty I politely declined. The staff member attempted to ignore me, then borderline threatened me with the impending doom and calamity that will befall my car for not renewing the warranty. After telling the gentleman politely that I was not interested and that I take care of my vehicle and was not overly concerned about it breaking down (I bought a Honda because they don't break, and I take immaculate care of it to see to that) he outright hung up the phone on me. No goodbye, no have a nice day, just terminated the conversation and hung up. Between the pushy sales staff, their rudeness, the crap deals, and the terrible customer service I think everyone should avoid Rudolph Honda at all costs. I still need to get their gaudy crap that they threw all over the car informing the world that it was purchased at Rudolph off of my vehicle as well - something that I intend to do very soon after this most recent phone call and being reminded of their attitude towards customer service. No reason to give these jerks the free advertising. So between being rude to myself, two friends, and all of the aforementioned nonsense I would strongly encourage everyone to avoid Rudolph Honda and Rudolph dealerships, and I am embarrassed that they managed to swindle me as well as they did ($32,000 for a $25,000 vehicle). Will definitely not return. Very bad experience. They worked on my AC 1 month ago, replaced a compressor fan and then evacuated and recharged the system. Had an oil change done so total cost about $600. Over the weekend the AC went out again. Took it back which also necessitates getting a rental car for $50 so I can have transportation. I'm military and not being able to get to duty is not an option. I was told that there was a hose that was leaving slowly and needed to be replaced, which they missed earlier. They were going to change me $420 today. That included evacuation and recharge again. The reason a recharge is necessary is that they didn't fix it right the first time. I called Need for Speed, they quoted me $280. They were shocked Rudolph was trying to charge me again for evac and recharge and I agree with them. They also dropped me off at Ft Bliss and will deliver the car when repaired. Do not recommend taking your vehicle there unless it's covered under warranty read more

I was looking for my next vehicle at your dealership and won't be buying it from Rudolph Honda due to the type of customer service I received yesterday at the auto shop. I came in the previous Friday at 8:00 AM and was told they had to order my converter for better air emissions. I returned to the dealership with an appointment yesterday. After waiting three hours, I saw my vehicle tearing out out of service garage, across the dealership parking lot and hopping the I-10 at warp speed for a "test drive" since the "new part" that was installed was "smoking up" my car as per Service Representative Cliff from the auto shop. The driver appeared to ignore any oncoming traffic. This vehicle caught my attention due to the erratic way it was being driven across the lot and realized it was mine!!! I don't even drive my car that hard on any given day. All Cliff wanted to know was if I was going to complain about his service. I was verbally quoted a total of $867.00 including labor and was was charged yesterday a total of $1,030.00. The parts were $622.00. Several people from the auto shop saw how concerned I was and said they would call the test driver back. He didn't return until 20 min later. When the car returned to the dealership, I saw two people in the car. I flagged the driver to stop the car. He ignored me and drove passed me until one of Honda mechanics told them to stop the car. I can't believe I had to deal with this since my neck was in a brace. Two teenagers including the driver get out of my car. The driver said he was told to drive my car through Transmountain Road as his friend exited out the passenger side of my car. I asked Service Representative Cliff why there were two people in my car. He said there shouldn't have been two people in the car. The kids in my car were in street clothes and neither one of them was my mechanic. How were they supposed to diagnose ANYTHING WRONG with my car? Why did you allow that to happen? Why was the drive going to take more than 20 minutes? Where were they going for more than 20 minutes? I've never seen such behavior from ANY dealership. Two kids took my car for a joy ride, and it was allowed. I have lost all confidence in Rudolph Honda and will not return. This was the best experience I've had buying a car. My sales person Joseph Cuellar was amazing. Mind you, I came 1 hour before closing. He patiently worked with me as if it was 0900 am. TERRIBLE customer service! We took our Accord in for a simple fix and have been given the runaround for days. First, they told us it would be ready on Wednesday. Then, is was Friday morning. Come Friday, we call in the morning and they tell us to come in the afternoon. We go in the afternoon and it's not ready yet. Now, they're saying to come back on Saturday. How hard is it to call your customer and let them know their car isn't ready yet before they drive across town??!!! That's kind of customer service 101. FAIL. read more

Went in with the intent to purchase an HRV with all wheel drive, and both of their AWD models wouldn't even start. If that's not a bad omen when the dealer can't keep their brand new cars in enough working order to just turn over, I don't know what is. I will say that the salesman was really nice and I could tell he was really frustrated at the situation. I don't blame him, he lost a commission because of it. read more

Absolutely the worst car dealership I have ever been to. As soon as I got in a man greeted me by the name Edgar Flores. At first he seemed concerned about my needs and tried to be "friendly" but of course it's always a mask car dealers love to do. When it came time for me to negotiate a price it took 2+ hours to ever hear from Edgar again. He was out helping other customers and test driving as I watched and he kept stating "oh we are trying to figure everything out" blah blah blah. I was very impatient at this time. I told him the car was too much for the year of the car and he said to make an offer, I only offered about $2000 less than the asking price, only because I wasn't in the mood to haggle for every last dollar. He just laughed in my face like if I was stupid. Just because I am a woman does not mean I do not know the worth of a 2011 corolla. He acted as if I reduced it to an insulting price, which I did not because I have checked kbb. The car was good, but not fantastic there was a lot of cosmetic wear on the lower parts of the car as well as inside. If that car was so great like he thinks it would've been sold a long time ago, yet it's still on the lot and has been there for almost 6months. A HUGE waste of time, making me wait does not mean I'll forget the price nor will make me give in, the worst car dealing trick. He stated throughout that the banks are closed and it takes a while. A total lie because I was helped within minutes and had answers at another dealership right away that deals with the same bank. If you go there or anyone else do not be helped by Edgar Flores he is only interested in ripping you off. Request a new salesman immediately. read more

Not a bad experience. We went there already pre-approved with our credit union. We had already seen the vehicle we wanted on the website, we called to confirm it was there, and we went straight away for a test drive. From walking in the door to driving away with a new car we were there less than an hour, and that includes trading in an older vehicle. Lam Nguyen was our sales person, he was a nice guy, and very knowledgeable about the vehicle. read more

Do not take your vehicle here for body repair. They attempted to fix my brand new 1 week old civic that had a bumper that was falling off of the vehicle. They failed and had to re do the repairs (replacing and repainting the bumper) 5 times! They tried to refuse to repair a brand new under warranty car after the 3rd repair but Honda forced them to continue. On the last comeback my car was there for weeks and they stored parts in the trunk and tore my trunk gasket, they added some of their green body shop marker to the gasket but failed to replace the gasket. When I discovered their green body shop paint all over my now torn gasket months after i picked it up, they failed to take ownership of their mistake and instead blamed the customer saying that I took too long. This is a commuter car I don't open the trunk often. This was a brand new vehicle that had only been in my possession and Rudolph's. On my last visit to pickup the car, when I arrived I was on a business call and could not immediately enter the building. I noticed my vehicle sitting in the parking lot with an employee of theirs sitting in my car enjoying the air conditioning and the satellite radio. This lasted for 10 mins until I finished my call and confronted the employee. On my way home I noticed the employee had attempted to clean my brand new infotainment screen, he must have used sandpaper because the screen was badly scratched. Rudolph was told by Honda to replace it since they damaged it. That also required a comeback because the tech forgot to plug in some of the wires in the back of the infotainment unit. Since then android auto constantly disconnects and hondalink no longer works. All the problems at this body shop and with the employees disrespect towards customers and their property starts at the very top with management and trickles down. The service center is the same and if you actually try and purchase a vehicle from Rudolph Honda their salesmen are too busy sitting on the bench playing with their phones to sale a car. read more

Oh man, where to begin? I would first like to apologize to my mom for bringing up this dealership when she was considering purchasing her SUV. The SUV was missing things when she drove it off the lot, and was promised them within the following week. She goes to get her stuff, and the SALESMAN THEN CRASHES HER SUV. She then gets a courtesy vehicle, that didn't even accommodate for what she purchased. She asked for a larger courtesy vehicle to fit my siblings, and she was unable to get one. Fine. Then, the car ends up with a small crack after being driven on the freeway. Now she's getting charged $1k+ to fix the windshield. First and most importantly, this NEVER WOULD HAVE HAPPENED HAD THE SALESMAN NOT CRASHED HER CAR. They're real quick to take your money, but unwilling to work with you when things happen. My mom offered to bring somebody in to replace the windshield at the dealership, which she would pay out of pocket for, however this was denied. The fact that this was an employee's fault to begin with is ridiculous. They wanna charge an arm and a leg for everything. And while we're at it, when I purchased my car at Rudolph Mazda, it was given to me with a crack on the windshield, and my gas tank was never filled, which is usually standard procedure.
