Walnut brittle, aniseed sorbet, elderflower sorbet, apricot and sour cream ice cream... To name a few. A place like no other!

Now what would make the goats greedy? I think it's the Brits who squeeze the milk out of the goats…read morewho are greedy, don't you think? I had never had goats' milk ice cream, so what better place to do that than Borough Market where they sell pretty much everything. Greedy Goat has a small stand in the ridiculously small seating area of the market. Jamie W. and I decided to treat ourselves on a balmy day. £6 will get you two scoops in a cup, and there were about ten enticing flavors to choose from. Jamie went for Caramel & Sea Salt and Banana, Chocolate & Caramel (photo: https://yelp.to/Y558VWhmM_), while I got the Cherry & Amaretto and Hazelnut (photo: https://yelp.to/1S4DBPzJiQ). Needless to say, they were deliciously creamy. We could've had a second cup, but who'd be considered greedy then? ICE CREAM - 4 stars...creamy goat's milk blended with refreshing flavors AMBIANCE - 4 stars...it's just a cute stand but quite inviting SERVICE - 4 stars...efficient and friendly TOTAL - 4 stars...a different kind of ice cream RELATED - Exploring London? After lunch, dessert was in order, especially during a hot summer day! Greedy goat is a cute ice…read morecream stand located at the Borough Market. This is where their story started, humble beginnings serving ice cream cups and cones from their 'little goat shack' at the market. Their ice cream is made in Somerset from British goat's milk. (Uhhhm, don't mind if I do!) Their ice creams are GMO free, egg free, gluten free, lactose friendly, 100% natural, suitable for vegetarians, and all that good stuff . They had a handful of fun flavors available and we went with chocolate for the kiddo and we got the banana & pecan. Our son enjoyed his ice cream and couldn't even tell it was made from goat's milk instead of cow's milk ;). We also enjoyed our ice cream. Nice, clean flavor and not overly sweet! The fact that they use locally sourced ingredients were a big plus for me and something I like to look for when visiting new places. It is quite a bit pricey per scoop, at £3.90, but we were on vacation so ... counting memories not $$$.

Seeing people walk away with a sandwich tray piled sith freshly shaven Parmesan, drew us in, and so glad it did. Such a uniquely delicious and hearty sandwich. The line is long, but it goes pretty quick. Highly recommend getting it. We shared one, but could have easily eaten one on our own. It's ok, bc it leaves room for us to try something else. Northfield Farm Got the special Rueben and shared it. It has salt beef, emmental cheese, sour kraut, pickles and their secret sauce. It was cool to see him make it in front of you quickly. It's only one person at a time, so the line might take a while to make its way through.

Going in for the first time, don't expect to have a place to stand or sit. We struggled a bit to enjoy our food -- hovering over a flower planter box while the wind blew away all of the cheese from our sandwiches, haha! We had to visit this place two times because there were too many items we wanted to try. The first experience felt like a disaster. Everyone was packed in like sardines while the loud speaker was warning us of pickpocketing on a weekday. The second experience, we arrived at 10:30AM and had a more enjoyable experience, hence the 3/5 rating. Items we tried: 1. The Ginger Pig - Sausage roll was too greasy in my opinion. 3/5 2. The Black Pig - "The Best One" was delicious and very filling. It's ideal to split since there are two sandwiches in one tray. The parmesan was flying everywhere because it was a windy day. 4/5 3. Bread Ahead - We tried a few donuts, but the stand out was the Crème Brûlée. I may have eaten too much, I couldn't enjoy this one 3/5 4. Kappacasein Dairy - "Toastie" was absolutely as toasty as it sounds. The bread was crispy and crunchy, the cheese was unreal. 5/5 5. Bomba Paella - Lobster Paella was expensive and the portion was small. The paella was average. 3/5 6. Turnips - viral chocolate covered strawberries. They're expensive, but worth it. This was the only thing we went back twice for. It's that good! Super refreshing. The strawberries were exactly what we needed after eating a ton of heavy food. 5/5 Everything at Borough Market was quite expensive, but that's expected at a tourist spot.
