If you enjoy paying money and get upset and disappointed, then you should try this place out! Why not visit the salad bar that's barely stocked and dirty. Food is still semi decent if you don't mind paying for old food that doesn't look appetizing. You can count on the service to be consistent too! Always late on checking on the tables or giving you plenty of time after a meal is done before checking on you or giving you the check. Even the management stays true with the vibe of the establishment. Be sure to pay compliment to the manager and see how long you would have to for his/her presence. If you are worried that maybe you will catch a bad day and they are not busy, don't worry! As long as there are two other tables of customers, they'll be sure to let you know just how swamp they are and treat you accordingly. Ordered a sirloin steak and mash and as I was chewing I had a weird thing in my mouth. I should it to the waiter and continued eating. Manager came up to ask what I wanted. I said nothing and continued on. Then had another bite and it was a bigger piece of foil. Manager said they don't use foil to cook any of it. Our appetizer which was Shrimp was fried dark brown ( nothing like the pics )but I think it has to do with the oil they use. Hubby order tilapia - salad bar ( the tilapia still was pinkish basically RAW . Not happy..order of food was not up to par. Asked for loaded baked potato, if cheese and bacon was it not worth the extra money..also had ribs with shrimp the four shrimp were hidden under the ribs. I was very disappointed in the Customer Service and Communication here! We called and ordered our food for carryout 30 minutes before we got to the restaurant. When we got there, we walked to the bar area. The bartender tells us to go around the corner for pickup orders ....we get to the pickup window and no one is there....we wait 5 min and a young lady comes out the kitchen and asks for our order name....then she walks away and never talks to us again. She and the bartender walks back and forth serving customers while we are just standing there looking at others being served. This is now approx. 50 min since we called the order in.....someone could have at least came to say our order is coming up, they forgot to make it, sorry for the inconvenience, or anything but instead we were just ignored by the numerous employees goin in and out of the kitchen. We eventually had to walk out and get food elsewhere. Such a shame because my frustration could have been tamed by a simple acknowledgement. Will not be going back. read more

Terrible experience here, ordered two beers and food from waitress and she forgot about us. She continued to fully serve the table 3 feet away and ignored our table. Finally the other waitress working the area asked us if we had been helped since it had been about 20 minutes, she goes and gets our beers that had clearly been poured long ago. The original waitress finally comes, without apologizing for her error, with our food about another 20 minutes later and it is lukewarm It clearly had been sitting done on the warmer rack for a while. The food was poor quality and overpriced beyond not being fresh. Then this waitress has the audacity to sit at the empty table near us after overhearing that she had been cut and was going home, clearly trying to nudge us into paying quickly so she could leave. To top it off she had added the salad bar to each of our entrees, which we did not order or eat. I do not complain hardly ever and have been a waiter myself, but this was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. read more

Came in today (Sunday) for a quick dinner. I sat at the bar so I could get my food and get out. The place was horribly under-staffed and the ones working really didn't show any interest in being there or helping anyone. Took 10 minutes for someone to show up to the bar and hand me a menu, took another 15 minutes for someone to come and take my order. The place was not very busy (approx. 30% capacity), but the food took 45 minutes before it was served. I give the food a 3/10, it tasted like a frozen dinner. The salad bar was a complete mess. Half of the food was out and there was food all over the place. I saw a couple families get up and leave because they were waiting so long for someone to take their order. We only went to Ruby Tuesday because we had a $50 gift card. If we ever get a gift card to there again, I will throw it away! The food was bland, no real taste at all. We each ordered the 3 for $11.99 and up. They were out of the zucchini that I ordered, the chocolate layer cake and apple pie. The appetizers were ok...artichoke dip with about 5 tortilla chips and the soft pretzel with a queso dip. Meals were shrimp and tilapia with bland mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli (which I got 15 minutes after my meal). My husband ordered the ribs and baked potato and caesar salad which was soaked in dressing. Now for the service...it was horribly slow. I won't rate the food because it's generally the same at all locations. What I will rate is the service and professionalism of the staff. This place is absolutely unsatisfactory. I've been here twice. First time I was alone and on travel. I ate at the bar and the bartender was more concerned with pouring singe guy shots than he was serving other patrons. This went on to the point that the guy couldn't keep his head up because he was so fucked up. The second time was with my family. We sat for 15 minutes without a server even stopping by our table to take a drink order. Two other tables who arrived later than us were served. When we got up to leave, we told the three women standing at the entry about the poppy service and why we were leaving and they were completely indigent. On my own, not a big deal but with hungry and tired children, not good. There wasn't even an effort or offer to retain our business. Last time I'll ever go into a Ruby Tuesday, let alone this particular one. Travelers have better options near airports and hotels. read more

Been seeing these commercials for years in California, but today is the first visit. The food is very good, and generous portion sizes. I had the Chicken Bella with sautéed zucchini. I opted for the salad bar for my other side. Best choice ever! The salad bar has a very nice selection of items (55+ choices). I was told this was the smaller of salad bars. It was fabulous for me. I also had the white sangria, it was okay, not as sweet as I though it would be, got better toward the bottom of my glass. My date had the Ruby blast I think, it was blue. HIs was very good. Always go with the most popular drink...LOL! Servers were great, very attentive, and all things were well priced. I'm definitely adding to my list of regular places to eat in this area. Terrible experience. I came in and the restaurant was almost empty, yet my NY steak arrived 35 mins later and with only one side. Waiter said the other side was unavailable after my plate arrives. My steak was overcooked. Had to return it because I refuse to eat a well-done steak. I was nice about it but the waiter didn't care apologizing .... and not once came to check on us or even offer to mitigate the kitchen's terrible performance. Second time around I get a rare steak. At this point I am too hungry to ask for the cook to make it right. I know it's not the waiter's fault but in EVERY restaurant we go the waiter asks to ensure the steak is cooked to the customer's satisfaction. That's steakhouse 101. I could forgive the bland food (a non factor in this review) if the service wasn't so terrible. Most recently, we had an angry waitress, who we hardly saw. Sides were missing. Items were promised that never showed up (more tater tots to make up for how few were on our plates). Our waitress waved her hand in my face to shoo away a fly. At one point, another waitress accidentally dropped a glass. Our waitress then yelled at her in front of customers. Sloooooow service on top of that. This RT is right across from where I'm currently slinging Powerpoint and Visio, so I tend to eat here a couple of times a month. I hadn't been to a Ruby Tuesday in a long, long time before this, so I was just sort of expecting ho-hum chain food. I have to say I have been very impressed by their burgers. I've pretty much gone through the whole burger universe they offer, from sliders to the avocado turkey burger (top notch) to the Smokehouse Barbecue Bacon Burger (artery alert!). They know how to cook them, serve them quickly, and basically don't fart around in doing so. The only burger-related complaint I have is the fries. They are very stingy on the fries (which are otherwise quite good). Oh yes, and a secret in plain sight here -- the fruit iced teas and lemonades are *expletive* awesome. Especially the lemonade. It's not Minute Maid -- it really tastes fresh squeezed and is very tart. The fruit is not puree or syrup -- they mash a bunch of blackberries or strawberries right in there. Try the strawberry lemonade or blackberry iced tea, and you won't be sorry. Free refills too! The staff has always been top notch too, so four stars for RT! read more

I had the Buffalo Chicken Minis combo, and an unsweet iced tea with lemon. Because of how the menu read, I was not expecting sliders; I was expecting just chicken tenders. Anyway they were good. They were not extremely spicy but they were flavorful. They were topped with a blue cheese sauce. It was perfect for a lunch portion. The dish came with French fries and a choice of soup or salad. Being the salad junkie that I am I made a nice salad. The salad was nice and cold. The bar was clean and orderly. Our waitress was nice and came back to check on us often. Staying at a nearby hotel, they had a menu laying around in room for Ruby T. I ordered some pot stickers and wings for takeout. I got there too early but found a special takeout door. Left the location 20 min ago was waiting for quite sometime to be seated, when we finally were seated we were asked to move because she sat us at a table for six and it was only four of us , the employees were moving slow like turtles they acted confused and they had to been short staffed. Although the host was kinda nice she acted confused about everything. I was wondering why there was hardly any cars there on a Saturday around 5 something was up! I would have given this place a 5 star ratings if the corporation didnt change the policy on the salad bar. 2 years ago...Ruby had one of the best salad bars in the country....wide selection of different veggies...pasta salads....and desserts...truly 5 stars. Then the bean counters took notice and probably figured out they could save money by trimming down the selections.....too bad. They trimmed the selections down by half. The absolute worst service imaginable. The hostess was far more interested in whatever was on her phone than seating my party. I had just picked up my sister from the airport and was hoping to grab a quick dinner before our hour drive back to the city. It quickly turned into the dinner from hell when we were finally seated at a half washed table. Our waitress was just about as bad as the hostess, her personality resembled that of a brick wall. She seemed aggitated that she even had to take our order to begin with. When we were eventually served our food it was certainly lacking. We just wanted to get out of this place so we ate, waited for our check for about 30 minutes, and were finally out of there. I got exactly what I expected....I received a smile when I entered the building. My happiness stopped there. We ordered at lunch time and had to ask what looked liked the manager where our food was. We ordered our meals (I basically got appetizers and a side) and coworker got a soup and salad. She even pointed to the items on the menu. She was charged full price for a "special option" and for a drink she never received. I couldn't finish my food as my lunch break was nearing a close. I've been curious about Ruby Tuesdays since Don't-Care-As-Long-As-It's-Food let drop a tiny pearl of info regarding one of the many volleyball trips we financed... she ate there and Erica broke her toe outside. At this less perilous outpost, Hostage Gastronome and I loved the potency of the Margarita and the freshness of the salad bar (HG Jr. loved the stolen bacon bits). The boys also enjoyed their prime cheddar burger and Ruby minis, but I didn't feel strongly one way or the other about the crab minis aside from being delighted that I was eating crabcakes in Maryland at the last possible moment! Yes, you foodies, crabcakes at Ruby Tuesday still counts... I'm sure they were a specialty of that area only! The food is average nothing extraordinary but at the same time nothing wrong with it. I sat at the Bar and the service was one individual server was great. I could tell that she was having some type issues with one of her co-workers as they kept arguing behind the counter. Wow, this was really close to our hotel so had to stop here for dinner. The endless salad bar was amazing and we finally got our veggies in. Decided to be adventurous and ordered pasta, w/out meat, as I'm a vegetarian, and asked if they could put mushroom instead, at the end they charged me $2.00 extra for mushrooms, but I didn't order meat, I just wanted to substitute meat for mushroom.. doesn't make sense. Overall, rating of a 3 out of 10 on cleanliness. Old stinch sort of smell here, almost like dirty mop stinch throughout restaurant. the seats were semi wet when I sat down and they didn't attempt to dry the seats until after my beige khakis were drenched and I mentioned it to them.
