Convenient location to have a Ruby Tuesday's as it's right off the main road in between your trip to West Virginia and Maryland (whichever direction you're headed). I'm reading some of the reviews and I'm a bit conflicted as I had a pretty decent experience considering this is a chain restaurant. Hand sanitizer was available upon entry, everyone in the restaurant were wearing masks and socially distanced. I do have to agree with one of their reviewers that their salad bar really shouldn't be opened to the public as that may be a health hazard considering the times. Their bathrooms could use a bit more sprucing up in terms of cleanliness and lighting but other than that it was a pretty solid experience. Food was delicious and fairly priced.

This is an excellent restaurant. The Garden Bar is second to none, filled with fresh, tasty fruits and vegetables. The selection is huge. My steak was cooked perfectly and the onion rings delicious. The steak was juicy and tender. The chocolate cake was moist and delicious. Our server was personable and very attentive to our needs. The restauranrt was clean and comfortable. My family and I stopped in today, 10/29/18 for a late lunch. Once again we received great food and good service.

Extra crispy (read: burned) chicken tender.

Lunch here was just okay. To be honest, it's one of the only games in town so there aren't many options. And we were a large party, so it was good to make a reservation for our group and not have to worry about waiting during the Sunday post-church rush. I had the ribs and chicken tenders combo ($17). The half-rack of ribs was okay, not amazing, but the chicken tenders were clearly over-fried to the point of being dark (burned) and were way too hard. I was surprised that they'd serve these -- surely someone in the kitchen doing QC noticed this, but then again my dining companion had a complete plate of burned chicken fingers, so maybe that's just the way the serve them. Not great. Kid's meals are mostly around $5 and do not include drink. Salad bar was pretty good, and the pre-meal mini biscuits were delicious. Buy a local paper for $.50 to get a BOGO-half off coupon.

I remember trying to stand and I said " help me!" Very quickly and efficiently, I had a young man - a waiter named Chase C.

This place needs some help in many ways…read more Their website says to call for a reservation. We were staying at the comfort inn and coukd see the parking lot looked full. We called and they said no reservations. We walked over and noticed there are NO lights in the parking lot. This made it feel dangerous with cars driving around and very unsafe. After a few minute wait we were seated. Our waitress was either new or off her game that day. Our drink order eas taken fast, but that's where the positives end. She didn't come back for almost 20 minutes ro take our order. Another table that came in after us already had their food before we even ordered! The rest of the night was like this. Someone at a nearby table went to the bar for another beer because she took so long with them too. We were ready to leave but our waitress was nowhere to be found for almost half an hour. By that point the restaurant was practically empty. It's almost like she forgot we were still there. The food was decent, but a little overpriced for what it was. I ordered bbq while my wife had the rotisserie chicken. I thought it was a little bland. I overheard our waitress say they often have people come in who don't want to wait at the other steakhouse nearby. I would say change your plans to something else. You'll be thankful you did.

Love this place! Great food, great service, the Ramen was the latest dish to satisfy my craving!read more

Love finding a place with ramen and sushi in downtown Cumberland, just a few blocks of 68 where one…read moretypically shoots through town on runs out to DC for work. This time I was passing by at dinner time so checked it out. It was Trivia Night so I opted for outside at one of the small 3 patio tables. The street has an outdoor dining vibe with two other restaurants also with outdoor seating. You put in your order at the bar (at least this Wednesday night) with a welcoming bartender on easy check list for sushi and ramen. I was stopping on the late side and those finishing their meals were clearly enjoying themselves. Many knew each other across tables as lots of stopping by for chats among friends. The pork belly in the ramen was definitely my jam as it had a crunchy top with easy to come apart pieces. Definitely the highlight. Not nearly as big a fan of the Asian greens which fell into almost a paste, the mushrooms not looking like they were fresh (to be fair there is a shiitake option I missed), and the smoked eggplant a little too chewy. And I took a flyer on the "special broth" without asking what it was so that is on me. But the really dark perhaps cinnamon infused (don't hold me to it) version was not something for me. The noodles were ample but not plentiful and were legit. So I think I'd opt for Nori instead of Asian greens next time and go with more traditional toppings. But definitely endorse the pork belly. I tried a smoked eggplant sushi role as something new. Just fine, I've tried it but I'll try another combo they have next time. And I know the economics are tough these days and specialty roles are routinely low teens in cost, but I'd suggest a two tier pricing scheme rather than $13.00 for one with a single ingredient and just 6 rather than normally 8 for specialty rolls. Glad I stopped and I will again to try some of the other fare. Just may be a little more traditional in my choices next time.
