The ONLY reason I'm giving 5 stars is because of the worker Patrice. Our "server" came to our table ONE time and never even put in the food we had ordered to be cooked, terrible service. We were about to just walk out. But Patrice (who was not even our server) brought us our food, drinks, etc. She was amazing and I will definitely be returning just for her. Put a smile on our faces and I am more than delighted with how our service ended up being thanks to her. read more

Awful service. Waitress got a 20top on opposite side of dining room and apparently that's a good reason for a family with two small kids to sit 10 minutes and beg the hostess to take a drink order. Then wait another ten and ask for a manager to order lunch. All while we watch multiple employees serve customers around us. Forget drink refills. Ate here with my family about a week ago. The salad bar was FANTASTIC. The entrees were hit and miss. The service was AWFUL - worst I've had in a long time. The hostess was the best person we encountered the entire time. Our waiter was awkward, confused, and extremely unhelpful. The workers at the salad bar were constantly in customers way and wouldn't even acknowledge our presence. The salad bar was fresh and delicious with lots of options! The hamburgers were nothing special, wouldn't order them again. The burgers were over cooked and dry with minimal flavor. The chicken dish was very tender and flavorful! Mario was absolutely wonderful. I went to halls chop house and had a wonderful waiter there and I hold Mario to that same standard. Came in with 2 families staying at hotel next door. We were told it would be 15 min wait in an empty restaurant. Hostess then proceeded to hide behind salad bar to talk on her phone. After 15 mins we left due to not being seated yet. A couple that walked in the door as we were leaving were seated immediately. Terrible service and lack of management are apparent. I usually go to the one in Summerville but we went over my lunch break and this is just down the road, mind you I get an hour for lunch... when we walked in there was barely anyone there so I figured we'd have plenty of time. Every time I come here i'm disappointed. I think the food is poor quality however I met my gf for lunch and we had a gift card. What we thought would be a quick lunch took forever. We used to have a Ruby Tuesday near our house but it closed. We were excited to see one next door to our hotel in Charleston. We were sadly disappointed by the service when we waited almost an hour for our dinner. Seems like the kitchen staff was short but no one filled in to make sure food was prepared for customers. Sadly we left a little upset even after they offered us a free meal. We won't have to come back because we are going home soon. I love ruby Tuesday I really do but this location is very unprofessional. My Bartender Keke was amazing she's great at what she does but I sat there for at least an hour on a Sunday while she worked her butt off while managers are standing around or just not showing any compassion for these poor workers. Management needs to improve at this location. I'm a manager myself and what I witnessed that poor girl go through is shameful. I gave her a $50 tip because that's how hard she was working without breaking down like any regular person would. I will not be back to this location and I hope she moves on as well. read more

The worst Ruby Tuesday I've been to. This location was dead when we went inside and literally had the wallpaper falling off the wall next to our table. UI don't mean like a little piece, but 1/4 of the wall was coming down. The wait staff and service for being so dead was extremely slow. We had our menus closed waiting to order for a long while our waitress just stared off into space in the back of the restaurant. Furthermore, I ordered a small steak and asparagus, and when the plate arrived it looked like the apocalypse happened. The staff apparently could care less what the plating looked like. I was staying at the hotel next door and in process of moving, decided to check out the fajitas since they were marketing these. However since they weren't busy at 4:50, I thought it would be a breeze to get a glass of Chardonnay and a fajita. Took 30 minutes to get my glass of wine and 45 minutes to get a fajita despite others that came after me getting served all their orders including drinks, apps, and dessert. Server was kind however in my past experience in food services, I would've been more apologetic, and made some type of reparations. Unfortunately server will bear the brunt. Thought maybe I had offended someone in the kitchen. Anyway food was okay but I was under a time constraint. I didn't expect fast food because I've been a server in fine dining but this was ridiculous. I arrived here with my wife after a lengthy stay at another local establishment that only served liquid nourishment, and we were craving something substantial to ease the hunger. That was the case for this visit to Ruby Tuesday as well. We had a large group (20+ people) so this was an affordable option where everyone could be served in a timely manner. We ordered ahead of time, so they were able to get our food pretty quickly. I ordered the grilled chicken with baked potato & steamed broccoli, and was happy with my meal. Of course, it wasn't a gourmet dining experience, but it was a good solid meal. We somehow ended up here before seeing our movie. The husband wanted a chain, so we went here. As far as Ruby Tuesday's go, this one was fine enough. I felt like I was expecting a little more out of the salad bar, but maybe it's just been so long since I've been here that they scaled down the options on purpose. I ordered the spicy fish tacos and my husband got the salmon. My tacos were ok- a little heavy on the shredded cheese as a filler; my husband said his salmon was good. In all, it was ok for a midday quick lunch, but I'm not sure we're going to make it back again with so many great local places to try. read more

Ordered the popcorn shrimp (new menu item) please get something else other than this appetizer to offer your customers Ruby; What a waste. I ordered the half/half ribs, rubbed n regular barbecued. My son ordered the prime rib. First my ribs were dry no moisture or juiciness to them (thank goodness for the baked potato that came as a side as it was the only thing I enjoyed eating! My son ordered the prime rib cooked medium; had to send back as it was raw. Waited and waited. Two hours later we got the steak n ended not eating there taking it home n finish cooking. The mozzarella sticks crust was fried in old grease...the spinach dip had no flavor and the pretzels were way to salty...so basically the whole entire entre was terrible.....not a lot to choose from on the menu! I don't complain over food cause I eat Mcydys burgers, so they were that bad. The meat didn't even looked cooked...brought me a plain burger with cheese when I just said no tomatoes and no lettuce. First we ask for silverware from the hostess bc our server was running around trying to take care of some nasty people in our section who basically wanted their food 2 mins after they ordered it...and was told that was not her job. West Ashley, SC.....This restaurant actually deserves less than the star we had to give it to make a review....We walked in at 7:55, we left at 8:10.... We stood at the front door waiting to be seated. 3 waiters and the bartender looked at us, nobody came over. Hostess was MIA. We noticed a few of the patrons pointing in our direction to advise the waiters... Still no service. The kicker? When the salad bar attendant started replenishing the bar...We were right behind him!
