Kathy, Reba. & Brooklyn took exceptional care of our party of 50. Dinner wss excellent and so the service

This is a chain restaurant in West Ashely and it is a solid chain what has everything you expect, consistent prices, solid food and lots of seating space for large groups. They have surprisingly affordable food options that are solid and filling along with a very attentive and kind staff. They also have food options for everyone in a family to have their pick and dietary restrictions so everyone can find something in the menu. We ordered burgers and salad bar and it was really filling and satisfying. The decorations and seating ar rather dated and borderline retro. read more

Ruby Tuesday's has some great weekday deals like a burger and fries for $6.99. They also have impossible burgers and gluten free buns (each available for an up-charge). I think this price also included the salad bar. I'd say overall the place looks a little bit older however the service was very good and the food tasted fine. You're not getting anything amazing but can't really complain for the price. read more

Ruby Tuesday - Burgers Near Me - Charleston, South Carolina

First thing is the smell. Walked in at dinner time and only one customer. This should have done it, but did I anyway. The server came up and said sit anywhere on the left side. Took a seat at a booth and the seat was ripped a bit and sticky. The server was very nice and offered suggestions on the menu. Which was helpful since I have not eaten in this restaurant for maybe 20 years. Then I noticed the floor was black from whatever. The carpet was sticky and disgusting. I ordered the ribs and bakes potato and salad bar and tea. I went to the salad bar and everything looked old and dry. Many items were frozen and stuck to the serving tray, in other words been there a long time. The things I selected were not very good at all. I went back and got just lettuce, cheese and dressing. The tea was just colored water. The server told me that they have been getting complains on the weak tea, she offered to bring a soda. The rack of ribs came and they were so overcooked and dry. Like laying in the desert for a few weeks. I could not believe it. I have never had ribs that were crunchy. The potato had a green color to the inside and the skin was so dried out. My friend ordered chicken off the kabobs. It was about six small pieces of chicken, very dry, the vegetables were strangely cooked. Some overcooked and some almost raw. It was like they made the plate and then realized it needed more food to be a serving. The server came back with a desert menu and offered a desert and even told us her favorite. She was doing a great job and I think she was embarrassed by the food. She noticed I barely ate the ribs and one bite of the potato. She brought a to-go box. I did not take the food. I just said thanks. We did not complain. I tipped the server good because I could see in the proper restaurant she would be great. She was doing her job, but she was all alone. This restaurant needs to be closed. At this point it is just ripping people off. Most people just pay, leave and never come back. Stop the insanity and just close. It is just to dirty and smelly to be ok. I was shocked and embarrassed. I ask my friend in the car what he thought about the food. He said it was somewhere between slop and rot. I would say do better, but at this point it would be best to demolish the building, plant the trees back and go home and call it a day. read more

Restaurant was not busy, and that should have been the sign. However, we opted to try which was a mistake. It took over 40 minutes to get our food. fried coconut shrimp with fries, and a deconstructed kabob which were bland. Even pepper couldnt save the day. When paying with a credit card, I wasnt even provided my final receipt. On the positive side, I will never go there again. read more

our family waited over 20 minutes to be sat, no one ever came to greet us. we mentioned our wait to the salad person and she told us we just need to wait. I went up to the bar & she completely ignored me standing there. I completely understand short staff situations but this experience was awful. This was around 7p July 3rd & no it was not busy. read more

The service was slow. Antwon was the bartender and I think he was also waiting on tables. Didn't get any food, because after sitting at the bar for over 30 minutes, nobody took our order. The restaurant wasn't even near its capacity, but there were over 7 tables and 5 seats at the bar with dirty dishes. I have always loved Ruby Tuesday everywhere I have lived, but this one is poorly managed. We even saw Uber Eats and Door Dash drivers waiting almost 30 minutes for their orders. If you are hungry and want any food, skip this place. read more

great service and good food. the manager is excellent and so is the rest of the staff!

Visited Ruby Tuesday Sunday after church. Initially went here because we saw an email with a steak special, but later realized the special began at 4pm, and we were too early. Was seated soon after entering and greeted by the server not long after. Opted for the 2 for $24 with an upcharge of $5 for the ribs. The deal included an appetizer and 2 entrées. Appetizer & meals came out in a decent time, but the server didn't return for a while after the meal was delivered to check on us. I needed mustard & my mom needed new fries because hers were cold. By the time someone came, she was half done with her ribs. The replacement fries were nice & fresh. I ordered a cheeseburger without the veggies. After asking for mustard, the server started doing a few other things and never came back with the mustard, so I had to ask someone else. They may have been shorthanded, as many places are these days, so I didn't make a fuss about it, but they have to do a little better with timing so food won't grow cold while waiting for condiments or fresh fries. read more

We were traveling from out of town & were so excited to see Ruby Tuesday was open. They have the best salad bar & this location did not disappoint! All the favorites just as I remembered. Thea-our server-was great! Will definitely be back! read more

We entered the restaurant and waited for the hostess to seat us. Once seated had to wait 15 minutes for the server to even acknowledge that we were sitting there. The restaurant was not crowed! Once she spoke to us it was "what y'all want to drink?" And she left. When she returned, again she said "what y'all want to eat?" This has got to be the rudest waitress I have ever met. Ok we ordered and waited over 20 minutes to get the meal! Again the restaurant was not crowed. Seemed that all the staff had the same attitude, one of I just do not care about the customers. Food arrived and was very good. The hostess has a better attitude than the server. And as for a manager, non to be seen. read more

DHEC needs to do an inspection on this kitchen. Like the review below, my stomach has been a mess since I have eaten this. I only had eaten the Bao Buns and Egg Rolls. Nothing looked like in the pictures. The chicken teriyaki was unrecognizable and was not eaten. They didn't give me the correct Bao Buns I ordered. I called the Ruby Tuesdays where I picked up the Food from and asked to speak with WowBao and they explained that was them. I asked for a refund but they said they couldn't do that and referred me to Wow Baos website to request a refund. Wow Bao doesn't list this location on the complaint form which is a red flag. Yet it is listed as a restaurant location on the map of the site. See attached picture of my food versus the picture online. read more

I was not impressed. This is basically a bar with some food options. There was a small salad bar. The woman keeping it stocked was working very hard going back and forth from the kitchen. I ordered fish and chips. Hmm. It was ok, sort of like breaded fish pucks. But they don't seem to understand that fish and chips is served with lemon and vinegar - not tartar sauce. read more

Give them another try! We stopped going to Ruby Tuesdays after Covid due to poor service. My sons and I were looking for somewhere to eat near our hotel off of Savannah Hwy in Charleston and settled on Ruby Tuesday. They have a special summer menu and I chose my meal from that menu. The staff dressed very friendly and accommodating and our server Zi was attentive. Our meals arrived in a relatively short amount of time and it hey were prepared as we asked. I've eaten here many times before and nothing occurred during thie visit to make me not want to eat here in the future. read more

OK - we went back today for lunch. I felt so bad for our server. She was the only one working the floor and it appeared she was also responsible for all of the take out orders. Also, they were fairly busy to just have one person on the floor. The bar was closed - all the chairs were propped up against the bar so no one could sit down. Our food took a good 30 minutes to make it to us and the bbq sauce I asked for never made it to the table. Food was good and exactly what we were looking for so no problems there. Unfortunately, due to the staffing, we were not checked on once and I had to drop payment (while being 3rd in line to do so) with our server without even getting the check. I appreciate being short staffed, been there, but perhaps it's worthwhile to institute a wait of even 5 or 10 minutes so that proper expectations can be set and the one server has a chance to catch up. It did appear that there was a manger working but was not really helping much from what I can see. While she was at the bar, another guest and I asked for our checks for her to just call out to our server (who was busy getting a to go order bagged and ready) that two of us wanted our checks. I would have thought she would have just printed our checks and helped us out trying to take some pressure off of our server. Especially during lunch, turn around time can't be a minimum of 50 minutes. read more

My food was good. Baked cooked well and not crunchy. Salad bar was well taken care of. I enjoyed it!

Came by for dinner while staying at the hotel next door. I've always enjoyed Ruby Tuesdays for their well-priced food and their salad bar. This location did not disappoint. I appreciate the daily food/drink specials they offer. Our service from Robbie was great and it was overall a perfect vibe for bringing my 2 year old with me! read more

What a disappointment this was. My ribeye was more fat than meat but tough as could be. The mushrooms were wonderful. The baked potatoes were terrible. Like they had been left over from the previous day and reheated in the microwave. He did say his catfish was good. But his ribs were to dried out. The delivery person didn't even knock on the door. Luckily we kept checking for the delayed delivery. But common sense would be to knock on the door to let people know their food arrived especially as it was late. We won't be ordering again. We have been down here in a motel for 1 month for him to have an organ transplant. And this is the worst meal we have had so far. And it was over $100. $6.99 for mushrooms on to off the steak. read more

Once upon a time Ruby Tuesday's was my happily ever for a night of casual dining." However; after my most recent experience to their West Ashley location, all I wanted was to click my ruby slippers three times and shout, "there's no place like home; there's no place like home; there's no place like [local eateries!"] I cannot make this up. The food quality was beyond the minimum of my expectations. Hot foods that should've been hot, was cold such as my baby back ribs and fries. The extra Caesar dressing I specifically ordered on the side was added to my Caesar Salad on top of the average amount they serve on the salad which made my salad soggy. The customer service was good; not as speedy, but, not to shabby. Would I dine here again... probably not. I've gradually realized some places will take a little longer to improve and Ruby Tuesday's is one of those places when it comes to food quality. I would suggest, reconsidering their food preparation; attention to details; and quality. Just because a restaurant is known as causal dining doesn't mean the food should be just casual. read more

I stopped by Ruby Tuesdays West Ashley for drinks and dinner earlier this evening. This has become one of my favorite spots in Charleston to have a few cold drinks and grab a bite to eat. The service is always prompt and very professional. Drink and food offerings are very affordable. They routinely have great specials and new menu offerings. The bar service is top notch and to be commended. Julian the bartender is a huge asset to this restaurant. Always friendly, pleasant and gives every guest a warm and cordial greeting. I'm honestly not sure how you can have such a good experience somewhere to such a bad experience the next. To be fair, this wasn't the next time my wife and I have stopped in since my first review, but we have had the same bartender previously each time. Antwon is great behind the bar. No one else even comes close. Last night my wife and I were looking for a quick dinner so we figured we would head in hoping Antwon was working. We sat down and realized it was a bartender we haven't had previously. After sitting for roughly 10 minutes and not being contacted or told someone would be right with us, my wife and I decided that we would just order food to go because we could tell it was a mess. The bartender had maybe 5 total checks he was working with and was super in the weeds. It was astounding. We ended up ordering two Coronas with lime to which, mine still had the sticker from the fruit on it clearly showing the fruit was not washed first before cutting. After waiting roughly 40 minutes we decided to ask where our food was. The manager told the bartender right in front of us, "oh we sent that out a little while ago". The bartender then shower the manager it was rang in as Togo food. To which her response was ..."okay let me go make it now". We simply left a $10 bill on the bar top to pay for our beers and left without our food. Nothing like wasting a good hour at a restaurant on a Sunday night waiting for food. This place is an absolute joke. Zero customer service, zero intelligence. How do these corporate restaurants suck so bad? Isn't there a level or attention they must all provide to certain aspects of the restaurant? We will never be back. Unfortunately that only hurts Antwon who seems to be the only employee with a brain. But that's what happens when you have incompetent managers training incompetent staff. I HIGHLY recommend fast food over this spot. That's how bad it is read more

The food was ok. Not as good as it used to be prior to the covid pandemic. Service is slow and they appear to be short on employees. Our waitress was a tad rude. Not saying she necessary tried to be but maybe it's simply bad upbringing. Needless to say she got our order wrong and didn't offer to fix it. To start with, we were seated at a completely empty table with no sugar, salt or pepper.. seats were torn and the floors needed to be swept. Placed order to include salad bar. Went to salad bar with no plates and stood around about 4 minutes before we were noticed and mentioned there being none. The tomatoes, mushrooms, and cucumbers were frozen to the plate making them unaccessible. Brought to staff attention. Steak was ordered medium rare and a burger ordered well done. Steak came medium and was returned, the next one was rare. Burger arrived medium. I will not be returning to this location. If there was a rating lower than a one that place would be that. We walked in to see drama engaged between the manager, and a server, shaking her finger at her manager, telling her that something about too busy, and there was hardly anybody in the restaurant. Then they started telling us they only have one cook, that this was wrong that was wrong. Y'all must not want people or business.. customers don't go to restaurants to get drama. people eat at restaurants to unwind and enjoy a good meal, but apparently that was entirely too difficult for your staff that day. We left even though we were famished. Your brunette waitress was RUDE and has no respect for your manager. Appearently this server has no respect for her manager either.
