Had another good visit to this location in the airport. Tyson Airpidoesn't have many options so this is the best sitdown option available. The dirty martinis were made to perfection. The boys said that the cheeseburgers were absolutely delicious. Our server was fantastic, but one of the ladies at this location was pretty rude to us and is the reason I'm giving a four and not a 5. They do have the salad bar, but we did not have that. I had the queso dip and it was just OK and definitely not something I would order again. We decided to dine in while we waited for our flight back to Florida. We ordered the Full-Rack Baby-Back Ribs with BBQ sauce, fries, and an extra order of mashed potatoes. We were pleasantly surprised by the attentiveness, hospitality and good service provided by a nice male staff member. Our bbq ribs tasted very good, the meat was tender, soft with a good flavor. The coleslaw and mashed potatoes were delicious too. The restaurant was full and we still managed to get a table without waiting. We visited this location at the airport as there are few options. Apparently they were short staffed, as no tone greeted us at door. We asked an employee about self seating and told wherever we wanted. A lot of table were not cleaned. Had to go back to front tofind menus. Someone appearing to be a manager finally came and started to clean tables. When he finished he asked if we had ordered. He took our order. A waiter finally came by and we asked for some water. The coffee came out, but no water. Later the food came out and we again asked for water. We were almost done eating and a waitress came by and we asked her for some water. Never came. Finally the first waiter returned to give us the check, and we again asked for water. Finally got a glass of water. Food was overcooked. Should have gone to one of the other 2 choices. It was burger day at the restaurant so we went for them. When we walked in the restaurant was about 1/3 full. We had to wait a decent time to be seated. This probably should have been a clue the service was slow. The wait staff were friendly but were in zero rush to get their job done. Refills of drinks took incredibly long. It was super slow so I am not sure what their deal was because it was not because they were busy. We ordered basic burgers. I understand this is an airport restaurant but being that this is the only place to get a cocktail in the United terminal I expect certain basic criteria. Tables were dirty when seated and when the waitress came she still didn't wipe it down. The food came very fast and was pretty good (not exceptional, but standard for a chain restaurant), fries were requested extra crispy though and they definitely were not. Service was fine. Prompt, but not overly friendly. When I have her "only" an 18% she seemed to scoff and just walked off. No eye contact, no thank you, just walked away. Most of the flight out of Knoxville are before 9:00 am and this place has 3 breakfast options. They no longer offer biscuits for their quick grabs. Just bread they call croissants. Pretty pitiful. I'm at the airport, feeling good about my trip to Fort Lauderdale. I'm in Terminal C and think, "Hey, Ruby Tuesday, classic American fare, can't go too wrong." FAMOUS. LAST. WORDS. I ordered the fish and chips to go. It looked fine? I guess? Ate it at the gate. Boarded my 4:31 flight feeling normal. Then, about 45 minutes after eating, the rumble in the jungle began. Not the fun kind. The "oh-no-why-is-this-happening" kind. Let's just say the airplane bathroom and I became very, very well acquainted for the entire flight. It was a race against time, and I was losing. Repeatedly. I finally get home, a shell of the person I was when I left Knoxville. Thinking the worst is over. I WAS SO NAIVE. It escalated. The... issues... intensified. Then the nausea hit me like a freight train. I laid down for what I thought was a nap and woke up feeling like my body was trying to turn itself inside out. I spent the next 45 minutes in a dedicated, violent relationship with my toilet. It was a full-blown exorcism. I'm pretty sure my internal organs are now in a different zip code. There is ZERO doubt in my mind that this was food poisoning from that fish. The timeline is too perfect. This wasn't a "maybe it was something else." This was a direct, catastrophic failure in their kitchen. I have serious questions about how they're handling food back there. Is the fish just sitting out? Are they using a thermometer or just guessing? The lack of care is honestly terrifying. You're in an AIRPORT. People are getting on planes! You can't be serving biological warfare in a Styrofoam box. Needless to say, my opinion of this place is in the toilet. Much like I was. Save yourself. Walk another gate. Get a bag of pretzels from the newsstand. Do literally anything other than eat here. I've only been here once since I don't frequent that area of Maryville much. Met with my GF who lives in Knox. We were here once last year for the salad bar. Ordered the grilled chicken sandwich (came with fries) and the salad bar. Salad bar was fine. Got my sandwich and it had to be the most pitiful little sandwich I've ever seen. Small breast, kind of dry and only enough fries for a kid. I requested mayo for my sandwich. The server (nice guy, forgot his name) brough me a little metal ramekin with mayo. The mayo was noticably separating and changing color. We just stared at it for a sec. My friend picks it up and says it's warm! The ramekin was indeed warm. Not room temp....warm! Someone could get sick. Where the heck was it, on a stove? I told the server and he brought me a fresh one. $12.99 for a sandwich and fries. I could've gone to Chick Fil A who's consistantly good. Unorganized, miserable employees starting the the host or hostess being rude to the absent manager on duty to the order of chips to refill our appetizer that came 15 min after we asked (app was cold already) to the rock hard overcooked chicken tenders to the kids pasta with marina sauce that sat under a heat lamp so long the noodles were hard and the sauce was watery. I got the fish and chips which showed on the menu a large piece of pollock deep fried. What I got was 4 larger than average fish sticks that you could get at the market, which is fine, if you're at the market and cooking them in your air fryer or stove at home. It is what it is. A quick meal from an chain place in the airport. I order a glass of rose and salmon with mashed potatoes and broccoli. My meal portion was toddler sized lol. I would pass on the mashed potatoes, they're definitely instant and had no flavor. The salmon was decent but also no taste/flavor. I didn't like the spinach dip either. I didn't have high hopes walking into this place and they certainly lived up to my low expectations. Bartender was MIA for the first 8 minutes we were sitting here. The Bloody Mary was possibly the worst one I've ever had, not sure why there was salt on the rim vs old bay maybe she thought it was a margarita? The bartender seemed more concerned about her Starbucks order somewhere else as she asked another coworker about it twice. It was comical watching her serve up draft beers that were full of foam, instead of getting the line fixed she just said that's the best she could do. This might be the only bar in the airport so you are kind of stuck, so hopefully you wind up with a more professional bartender if you stop in. read more

Salmon was ok, watery mashed potatoes, and soggy broccoli. The server did not check in during the 30 minutes. I had a Stella beer while I waited. Had she returned, I would have ordered a second beer. I had a dry lunch because I was concerned about waiting for a second beer without much time left. Oh, she was on her phone though which plucked my nerves even further. I'll grab some chips next time. Our visit started out great! Our server was friendly and accommodating. About 10 minutes after ordering, our server came out to tell us half our order didn't get entered into their system. We let them know what other entrée was ordered and they assured us it wouldn't be much longer. About 30 minutes later, the manager came out to tell us part of our order was delivered to another table, so they had to remake it, and it would only be '2 more minutes' for our food. It actually took another 10 minutes before our food was delivered. Very frustrating as we both had to eat fast to make our flight. It made what would have been a relaxing experience before a flight, a rushed and frustrating one. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the manager ended up comping one of our meals, the cheaper one. That was also somewhat of a hassle because we were offered a free dessert twice, but didn't want anymore food. We were the ones that actually suggested a discount. Furthermore, it took another 10 minutes after eating to get our bill. Yikes! Would definitely NOT recommend this restaurant. read more

In fact the meal I received was super disappointing and quite frankly, a well designed ruse to rip off unwitting GrubHub patrons. The amount of food as minuscule and the presentation was not unlike dog vomit on a small mound of rice. The boa were so hard, they could not be chewed or swallowed.
