We decided to dine in while we waited for our flight back to Florida. We ordered the Full-Rack Baby-Back Ribs with BBQ sauce, fries, and an extra order of mashed potatoes. We were pleasantly surprised by the attentiveness, hospitality and good service provided by a nice male staff member. Our bbq ribs tasted very good, the meat was tender, soft with a good flavor. The coleslaw and mashed potatoes were delicious too. The restaurant was full and we still managed to get a table without waiting. Definitely recommended to try the cocktails and the BBQ ribs! read more

We visited this location at the airport as there are few options. Apparently they were short staffed, as no tone greeted us at door. We asked an employee about self seating and told wherever we wanted. A lot of table were not cleaned. Had to go back to front tofind menus. Someone appearing to be a manager finally came and started to clean tables. When he finished he asked if we had ordered. He took our order. A waiter finally came by and we asked for some water. The coffee came out, but no water. Later the food came out and we again asked for water. We were almost done eating and a waitress came by and we asked her for some water. Never came. Finally the first waiter returned to give us the check, and we again asked for water. Finally got a glass of water. Food was overcooked. Should have gone to one of the other 2 choices. It was burger day at the restaurant so we went for them. When we walked in the restaurant was about 1/3 full. We had to wait a decent time to be seated. This probably should have been a clue the service was slow. The wait staff were friendly but were in zero rush to get their job done. Refills of drinks took incredibly long. It was super slow so I am not sure what their deal was because it was not because they were busy. We ordered basic burgers. I wanted mayo but I never saw the waitress until it was time to pay the bill. The food was ok. Nothing to write home about. Typical bar food. I probably wouldn't come here again because it wasn't worth the wait. read more

I understand this is an airport restaurant but being that this is the only place to get a cocktail in the United terminal I expect certain basic criteria. Tables were dirty when seated and when the waitress came she still didn't wipe it down. Half full Martini with actual chunks of ice and the Coconut Shrimp was brought out on an aluminum tray with absolutely no presentation. The best part of the experience was how quickly I was seated. Ok, you are the ONLY full service restaurant and bar in the airport...and today you can't serve any draft beers because your cooler(for glasses) is broken and you've had this problem for 2weeks. (Per the server) Now, why can't you ice some glasses down and still serve the draft beer? It's a simple solution to still be able to serve your customers. This is insane. And another customer asked for Aperol Spritz only to be told you don't carry Aperol. Shame on your RT..get your crap together! You have a lot of upset customers today sitting here without draft beers. read more

Most of the flight out of Knoxville are before 9:00 am and this place has 3 breakfast options. They no longer offer biscuits for their quick grabs. Just bread they call croissants. Pretty pitiful. Ruby Tuesday is based in Maryville and was started in Knoxville. This location should be more important to them. read more

Came in and grabbed food while waiting for my flight since it was cheaper than a takeout sandwich from Quiznos in the same terminal. The food came very fast and was pretty good (not exceptional, but standard for a chain restaurant), fries were requested extra crispy though and they definitely were not. Service was fine. Prompt, but not overly friendly. When I have her "only" an 18% she seemed to scoff and just walked off. No eye contact, no thank you, just walked away. Ambience was a standard airport restaurant. read more

Go to the Quiznos. This is frozen trash. Price is outrageous considering how low quality the food is. At least Quiznos is honest , you know what you're getting, and it's a bit cheaper. Oh, and Avoid the "salad bar". Ambiance and service is good though. read more

I've only been here once since I don't frequent that area of Maryville much. Met with my GF who lives in Knox. We were here once last year for the salad bar. I arrived a little early and sat in the waiting area. Hardly anybody there at 5:30. First thing I noticed was how dirty this area was. Napkins/Tissues on one of the seats. Those napkins could have been used on someone's snotty nose. Dusty and the floor looked like no one vacuumed in a very long time. Not something you want to see right before you order your food. A lady (server?) came out to open one of the doors that goes into the restaurant because it was a little warm out there. As she was out there she should have noticed the dirty area. Ordered the grilled chicken sandwich (came with fries) and the salad bar. Salad bar was fine. Got my sandwich and it had to be the most pitiful little sandwich I've ever seen. Small breast, kind of dry and only enough fries for a kid. I requested mayo for my sandwich. The server (nice guy, forgot his name) brough me a little metal ramekin with mayo. The mayo was noticably separating and changing color. We just stared at it for a sec. My friend picks it up and says it's warm! The ramekin was indeed warm. Not room temp....warm! Someone could get sick. Where the heck was it, on a stove? I told the server and he brought me a fresh one. $12.99 for a sandwich and fries. I could've gone to Chick Fil A who's consistantly good. Friend used the restroom and said it was dirty. The sign on the outside of the bldg says "Under new Management". Well, I think management needs to step it up. I won't be back. read more

Would give zero stars if I could. Ruined my entire travel day. Ruby Tuesday - Tyson Airport (Allegiant Terminal C) Knoxville, TN Let me paint you a picture. It's September 20. I'm at the airport, feeling good about my trip to Fort Lauderdale. I'm in Terminal C and think, "Hey, Ruby Tuesday, classic American fare, can't go too wrong." FAMOUS. LAST. WORDS. I ordered the fish and chips to go. It looked fine? I guess? Ate it at the gate. Boarded my 4:31 flight feeling normal. Then, about 45 minutes after eating, the rumble in the jungle began. Not the fun kind. The "oh-no-why-is-this-happening" kind. Let's just say the airplane bathroom and I became very, very well acquainted for the entire flight. It was a race against time, and I was losing. Repeatedly. I finally get home, a shell of the person I was when I left Knoxville. Thinking the worst is over. I WAS SO NAIVE. It escalated. The... issues... intensified. Then the nausea hit me like a freight train. I laid down for what I thought was a nap and woke up feeling like my body was trying to turn itself inside out. I spent the next 45 minutes in a dedicated, violent relationship with my toilet. It was a full-blown exorcism. I'm pretty sure my internal organs are now in a different zip code. There is ZERO doubt in my mind that this was food poisoning from that fish. The timeline is too perfect. This wasn't a "maybe it was something else." This was a direct, catastrophic failure in their kitchen. I have serious questions about how they're handling food back there. Is the fish just sitting out? Are they using a thermometer or just guessing? The lack of care is honestly terrifying. You're in an AIRPORT. People are getting on planes! You can't be serving biological warfare in a Styrofoam box. Needless to say, my opinion of this place is in the toilet. Much like I was. Save yourself. Walk another gate. Get a bag of pretzels from the newsstand. Do literally anything other than eat here. Trust me, your stomach (and your fellow passengers) will thank you. read more

Go to Quiznos or anywhere else but here. I get this is a Ruby Tuesday in a small airport but man this may be the worst restaurant in America. Unorganized, miserable employees starting the the host or hostess being rude to the absent manager on duty to the order of chips to refill our appetizer that came 15 min after we asked (app was cold already) to the rock hard overcooked chicken tenders to the kids pasta with marina sauce that sat under a heat lamp so long the noodles were hard and the sauce was watery. This place is disgusting and Ruby Tuesday please just go away for good. Embarrassing to say the least. read more

First off, the service was great. I was sat down quickly and attended to with great professionalism. The issue was the food. I got the fish and chips which showed on the menu a large piece of pollock deep fried. What I got was 4 larger than average fish sticks that you could get at the market, which is fine, if you're at the market and cooking them in your air fryer or stove at home. The fries portion was very small as well. For the $20 bucks it could have been better. read more

Ruby Tuesday's iconic cheeseburger, the best RT's in the WORLD. Such a decadent burger put me to sleep after just one bite. Crunchy, crunchy texture throughout. I needed a comfortable seat and RT's at TYS delivered. An hour before boarding and Tennessee's best burger is in an airport, fly in fly out.. restricted access only. One bite and it's like a drug, so sleepy. Always the best of Knoxville and the best of Tennessee, maybe their whole region (Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina and better than anything I've eaten in Alabama). read more

The restaurant closed early on one of the busiest holiday weekends of the year. Unable to get a table so we were directed to order to-go. Ordered a hamburger well done and received it rare and the French fries were too cold to eat. The manager was rude which was unnecessary. Will not give this place another try because the last time we ate there the service was extremely slow and the food was only one star. read more

The better of the options at the Knoxville airport. I sat "outside" (the atrium/hallway) and enjoyed some spinach artichoke dip and a beer for dinner prior to my flight. Dinner of champions, LOL. Service was fine once I was seated (had to flag someone down to sit). The beer was so perfect! The light streaming into the airport in the evening was beautiful. read more

A 25 minute wait for a party of 1 when there are open seats all over the bar area? You've got to be kidding! Then to tell customers that you're short staffed? This is ridiculous. You're the only sit-down restaurant at Knoxville airport, so I suppose you think you can sacrifice service. Then, you seat five singles, all at a high top long table, and the server greets and takes a drink order from two. Unbelievable. Shame on you, Ruby Tuesday! Get your act together! Shame on you, airport authority! Get more vendors and hold them accountable! read more

T-bones have a NY Strip side and a filet side (separated by the bone) . RT's T-bone steak has the NY Strip side and a bone. It had no filet side. So I got a bone in NY Strip lol Salad bar was great. Service? Not so great. Really to list any would make this a little unbelievable. Lastly, I had a $25 Christmas Gift card that had an expiration date on it of February 15. Did not know that. Of course they did not honor it. Sadly, that sealed the deal on RT. Good Luck, and so long. read more

Today, I stopped in for lunch at the bar area with more than an hour before my flight. I waited 30 minutes for my food. It was ok. Not worth the wait. Salmon was ok, watery mashed potatoes, and soggy broccoli. The server did not check in during the 30 minutes. I had a Stella beer while I waited. Had she returned, I would have ordered a second beer. I had a dry lunch because I was concerned about waiting for a second beer without much time left. Oh, she was on her phone though which plucked my nerves even further. I'll grab some chips next time. Won't do that again. read more

It is what it is. A quick meal from an chain place in the airport. I order a glass of rose and salmon with mashed potatoes and broccoli. My meal portion was toddler sized lol. I would pass on the mashed potatoes, they're definitely instant and had no flavor. The salmon was decent but also no taste/flavor. I didn't like the spinach dip either. It was very creamy/milky and not hot enough. Weird. read more

I didn't have high hopes walking into this place and they certainly lived up to my low expectations. Bartender was MIA for the first 8 minutes we were sitting here. The Bloody Mary was possibly the worst one I've ever had, not sure why there was salt on the rim vs old bay maybe she thought it was a margarita? The bartender seemed more concerned about her Starbucks order somewhere else as she asked another coworker about it twice. It was comical watching her serve up draft beers that were full of foam, instead of getting the line fixed she just said that's the best she could do. This might be the only bar in the airport so you are kind of stuck, so hopefully you wind up with a more professional bartender if you stop in. read more

Well here I am again.. it's hard to eat anywhere else when this is the only real sit down place at TYS. So here goes... ambiance good I mean it's an airport, lol. Service was good. Food, I played it safe this time and got the chicken fingers. So they were ok a little over cooked but edible. Last time I ate here it was horrible and I posted. The manager left me a comment and an email to reach out to her, which I did and they never replied. So there's that. Come on RT you guys are the only real place to sit down to eat here, you can do better. read more

Our visit started out great! Our server was friendly and accommodating. About 10 minutes after ordering, our server came out to tell us half our order didn't get entered into their system. We let them know what other entrée was ordered and they assured us it wouldn't be much longer. About 30 minutes later, the manager came out to tell us part of our order was delivered to another table, so they had to remake it, and it would only be '2 more minutes' for our food. It actually took another 10 minutes before our food was delivered. Very frustrating as we both had to eat fast to make our flight. It made what would have been a relaxing experience before a flight, a rushed and frustrating one. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the manager ended up comping one of our meals, the cheaper one. That was also somewhat of a hassle because we were offered a free dessert twice, but didn't want anymore food. We were the ones that actually suggested a discount. Furthermore, it took another 10 minutes after eating to get our bill. Yikes! Would definitely NOT recommend this restaurant. read more

Restaurant was busy but not absurdly so. We went to the host station and the mostly miserable yet comatose hostess handed us menus and mumbled something about seating ourselves. This review is for Wow Boa, a dark kitchen run by Ruby Tuesday for delivery only via GrubHub. I was not wowed. In fact the meal I received was super disappointing and quite frankly, a well designed ruse to rip off unwitting GrubHub patrons. The amount of food as minuscule and the presentation was not unlike dog vomit on a small mound of rice. The boa were so hard, they could not be chewed or swallowed. I have literally had TV dinners that were a quarter of the price, twice the portion, and way better tasting. After checking in we had time to kill before our flight food court was closed so this was the only real option available to eat. Once inside & seated we started with some drinks stuck to soft drinks Sprite & Ginger Ale were good. Appetizers we had the Mozzarella sticks these were very good, nice & crispy good amount of cheese. I had the Grilled chicken sandwich w tater tots , nice tasting chicken , tater tots were good as well. Hubby had the Bacon cheeseburger w fries, good burger , good fries too. Really great customer service! (Not a typical comment for airport restaurants, I know) Seriously, all the staff are happy and helpful and actually look like they are enjoying their jobs. Ashley was my waitress and she checked in with me multiple times, cleared plates as needed (I feel like they usually just sit there uncleared until the table is needed at most places these days). Food was good and what would be expected for RT. Of note, salad bar was fresh and well attended (again, not so typical of a thing to say in the airport). read more

Stopped in yesterday while our flight was delayed. Super busy, but all the waitresses were very festive in their headbands! My waitress name was Trinity, she was very friendly and helpful and got our drinks out quickly. I ordered the chicken, it was a little overcooked but not awful. Overall not a terrible atmosphere, would come back in. read more

Hot Rod's uses Beyond Meat for some of their burgers but they also custom craft their veggie burgers. The vegan cheese on my burger was most likely Follow Your Heart or Violife, but it was properly melted. The Beyond Burger was a frozen slab without any seasoning but cooked through. I would have preferred some seasoning but hey - I'm not going to knock it. The portion of fries is massive. The vegan ranch is Follow Your Heart and was a nice dipping sauce for the fries. My brother had a buffalo chicken sandwich and my mom had the reuben. We all shared the vegan banana split. Hot Rod 50's Diner as stated by another Yelp reviewer may be the best diner in the United States.
