had a very disappointing pickup experience at this Texas Roadhouse. When I got home, I realized that half of my order was missing. I tried calling the restaurant and was placed on hold for about 20 minutes. I was then told to wait another 20 minutes for the rest of my food. Because of the mistake, I had to drive all the way back to the restaurant. The most frustrating part was not just the missing food, but how dismissive the manager was when I arrived. Even after showing proof of my order, they insisted everything had been entered correctly and refused to acknowledge the mistake. I was also told I could not receive any refund because part of the order had been eaten before the error was noticed, despite the fact that the issue was caused by the restaurant. Mistakes happen, but being talked over and dismissed as a customer is unacceptable. I left feeling frustrated and unheard. I hope management and corporate take situations like this more seriously in the future.

I love Texas roadhouse. They may not be considered a high-end steakhouse but they deliver a high-end steak. I got the fillet medium and it was perfect. The sweet potato side and the green bean side were perfect and perfectly high-end. Thank you Texas roadhouse for over delivering every time.

Excellent late lunch. Steak was cooked perfectly (medium rare) and shrimp were tasty (not over done). Salad and green beans were a plus. Service was very good.

Ordered medium rare, not medium well.

Ordered to go, due to having free birthday appetizer about to expire, plus had a birthday gift card to use. Was given 30-35 min. quote, but took 55 mins. Ordered 11 oz. sirloin medium. rare, it was med. well & dried out. Free potato skins, only had 1, but was greasy & fully of fatty bacon. My husband's burger was ok. We only got 3 rolls about the size of a golf ball. I called to complain & was on hold 8 mins. before I gave up & hung up. I know it's not expensive, but I work hard for the $ to get food less quality & cooked to preference.

3rd time at this location, and they are great! Food/Drink: Really well cooked steak perfect medium rare! House salad came out before the meal. Appetizers: I stay away mostly. Bread: I didn't do it, yay me! Dinning Area: Very Large size, open concept. Plenty of seating! Prices: Relatively inexpensive but it is a steak house. 11 oz traditional cut almost no fat, house salad, broccoli and corn, with an iced tea. $22.50 Parking: Large wrap around just off the main road. Plenty of parking. Bathrooms: Bathrooms were clean and large, well stocked. Atmosphere: Your typical country life, TV on, sports playing, steak house. Music (country) going everyone chatting and vibing having a good time. Staff/Attendants: Server was great, super friendly, really nice and attentive. Drink was always filled, food was out very quickly, order was taken maybe 7 minutes after I got in. Awesome experience! 10/10

Came on a Wednesday night around 4 pm. This Texas Roadhouse waiting area was much more open than I've seen in other Texas Roadhouses. The music wasn't blasting in my ear thus making the environment delightful. Noah was our waiter and was very patient with my parents and my twins. He got them each a water with grilled chicken and applesauce. The applesauce was a hit with both of my almost 15 month olds. I had a 6 oz sirloin with a sweet potato and fries. I asked for my steak medium rare, and for the first time in quite awhile, I actually got my steak medium rare. It was such a pleasant surprise. Will definitely come back to this Texas Roadhouse in the future!

    "medium rare"

Basically service and food are a crapshoot. We were there to give this place a second try after a pretty bad experience last time. This time, the server needed to be reminded about a couple drinks, needed some reminders about ranch cups, and never did bring more rolls after saying he was going to go get some. My wife's steak, sirloin, rare, was perfect. Mine, ribeye medium rare, was basically raw. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather have steak overcooked than undercooked. This was simply cold and purple all the way through, to the point that it was hard to chew. It tasted okay, so I just ate the salad and fries, and took the steak home. I'll cut it up and finish cooking it in the morning with some eggs. Overall, I just really don't get the feeling that this restaurant actually cares. The model is to churn out as much in as little time as possible, definitely the "quantity over quality" mindset. If I come back, I'll try the ribs, because those are way harder to mess up.

Old food where they cleaned tables!

Food is Good. Service is Ok Ambiance well look below! Very appetizing looking at this crap, while I pay for a $30+ steak!

This is a nice place. My only complaint for this location is they can't figure out the seating locations when they first open. Everyone was just standing there for ten minutes. The service is fantastic. They take care of the guests. The food is cheaper than steakhouses in the area. Be sure to be there early or sit at the bar, because this location is always busy! The food was excellent. Perfectly cooked steaks. I enjoyed it.

Medium steak is not this red.

Server was lacking attention throughout the entire visit. We had to ask for beverage refills multiple times each and had to ask for bread refills 3 times too. It was after 7pm on a weeknight and the server couldn't answer any of our questions because (and I quote "I'm a college student, I don't know." No excuse for not knowing that we could order our prime rib to any temp we wanted, or if they accepted one of their own coupons. My medium filet came pretty darn rare. It was cool in the center. My hubby had medium rare prime rib it came medium well. My mother in law had her prime rib cooked correctly but everyone's sides were bad. All the fresh veggies were cold and under cooked and fries were soggy and Luke warm. We even asked for extra crispy fries. We've had poor experiences now at multiple locations and it's becoming a bummer because our family used to go every couple weeks.

Everything came to our table pipping hot. We had the fried green tomatoes, the club, and the notorious pig! Everything was fresh and didn't leave us feeling overly full and gross. I was well aware prices have gone up at least a dollar from the entire menu, and we do enjoy the food, but to set the expectation of "average" menus item being $14, and burgers $14.75-$16.75, you've got to do better. Thankfully the server made the entire experience great. She has served us multiple times and understands our special needs for our son. *We'll definitely be back, but I this industry will not survive "expecting" 20% and doing that to guests. (That servers we had will always get a generous tip from us) ***It's gong to come down to asking to be sat in specific server's section.

This restaurant used to be a Sweet Peas on the river. It was a 5 star establishment. It is no…read moremore. We ordered the trio of ribs, bologna and pulled pork. The ribs were super fatty and full of bone shards throughout [possibly due to some weird cut of the rib?, or poor cutting technique?] and so required picking/spitting out shards of bone with nearly every bite. Reminded me of eating bone-in fish. The meat was of low quality. They apparently don't dry rub the meat with any kind of seasoning, so very little good flavoring. The bologna was burnt to a crisp so 50% of the serving was inedible. Not sure what that was all about? The pulled pork was [seemingly] boiled [not smoked] therefore flavorless and was super fatty (nearly 30% of the portion size was fat), therefore an unappetizing wad of emulsion spat to the side of the plate. Also, the pulled pork was room temperature in the middle, as if a microwaved serving. The macaroni and cheese tasted as if out of a "boil it in water packet"--flavorless and unappetizing. We ordered wings and they were so over-cooked they couldn't even be chewed... tougher and drier than cheap beef jerky. The coleslaw was, in my estimation pretty good, but super super mayonnaise-y, so something to keep in mind. The "greens" pretty good as well. As for the baked beans... Very Good actually [why the 1-star instead of 0-star]... I'm not sure if they used brown sugar or molasses [maybe both?] but they were far better than say Buddy's but not as good as Calhouns. They do have a few wet sauce options for the meats, with the mustard sauce being the best... the other sauces were standard fare--not noteworthy. But if, like me, you like your ribs with only dry rub seasoning... given that this is NOT an option + the meat quality is extremely poor--I'd suggest that this is not the place for you. I know this doesn't sound very good but I will say to the staff's credit, as we finished eating, the waitress asked if everything was OK. We shared that the wings were inedible and she sincerely apologized for that. However, she offered no solution to correct/adjust accordingly. As we were walking out, the cook very nicely asked for feedback and we shared that the wings were inedible due to being left in the fryer far too long and that the pulled pork wasn't microwave-heated all the way through... So, for that small gesture of at least asking, I'd definitely give the staff two thumbs up! The ambiance is pretty much the exact same as before. However, the lighting is over-the-top harsh due to the installation of super glaring white LED lights that have been installed at eye level. Perhaps a dimmer switch, or lesser wattage bulbs would help. (I simply unscrewed the one in front of us until we finished eating and then screwed it back in.) In hindsight, we should have taken notice as to the "choice mistake" we were stepping into in that there was but one car in the parking lot when we arrived and only one other poor soul dining at this establishment--and that was at 5:30pm on a Friday evening no less! In closing, from this experience, I'm given to wonder [it seems as if] someone who knows nothing about BBQing or restauranting [the property owner?] watched Sweet Peas kicking butt and decided, "Hey, I'll run them off, duplicate their business, and keep all the moolah for myself!" Sadly, this experiment is failing [or is about to fail] miserably, I'm thinking. My recommendation to any diner wanting good BBQ is to go to Calhoun's or the original Sweet Peas... or, for the money you'll spend here, you can eat the Buddy's BBQ'd rib dinner three times. Good luck and happy dining!

Address: 1139 Franck St. Alcoa, TN 37701 Food: 5/5 I got the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich, and it's the best chicken sandwich in Blount County! Perfectly crispy and sauced. The flavors are great, and it's cooked excellently every single time. The fries were also very good and seasoned well. My mom got the Bacon Jam Burger, and she absolutely loved it! Great flavors, but the one thing she would change is having the bacon cooked more so it's crispy instead of floppy. We also got the Nachos for an appetizer, and they were honestly the best nachos I've ever had! The chili and jalapeño cheese sauce were the stars of the dish, and the chips were perfect and didn't break at all. What impressed me the most was that the last time my mom got the nachos, they were not very appealing, but this time around the presentation was spot on. This tells me that this restaurant listens to criticism and fixes its mistakes/issues. ‍ Service: 5/5 Matthew was our server today, and he did a great job! Service was fast, and the staff did an excellent job informing us about additions to the menu. Atmosphere: 5/5 This restaurant is always clean, and the vibes are amazing. This is the place you want to eat at while watching sports. You'll feel right at home if you're a sports fan looking for a great place to eat. Value: 5/5 Our lunch was absolutely worth the price we paid. The portions were great, and we left full without feeling like we wasted anything we ordered.
