    Cheese ravioli with alfredo
    Jill B.

We were seated quickly but the food took over 30 minutes (my husband was hungry and let me know). It was just ok. Nothing to write home about. My girls liked the bread and butter but they didn't bring that till after the food came. Maybe you need to ask for it if you want it in the beginning? My girls got the pasta and I got the cheese ravioli with Alfredo. It was pretty greasy and buttery so I didn't love it as much as other cheesy Alfredo's and my kids didn't ask for more than the 1 bite which is super rare. Usually they prefer my food and take it all but they liked the bread better. Overall everyone said their food was just okay. This place is more for the convenience of those staying at the hotel. We only came because our friend was staying for the Pistol Ultra marathon. Then we forgot to tell them that and didn't get a discount, whoops.

Nice quiet restaurant inside Hilton hotel. Great ambience. Good food. Friendly servers. Lounge nearby.

Cold burger that was originally overcooked and then they had to recook it. Over an hour we waited for this.

After being a faithful Marriott club member, I was so delighted that our military group chose the Hilton to stay at for the week since we were in town for a mission. Me and my buddy decided to eat at Cooper's since the menu looked great and it was located in the lobby. BIG MISTAKE. We waited over an hour for a hamburger and buffalo chicken sandwich. They had 7 people in the restaurant! We counted them. We ordered it to go and the hostess was very sweet but never called our room when our food was finished so we went down to the restaurant to see what was the hold up. This was after waiting 50 minutes. She informs us that they overcooked my burger and had to recook it and then box it to be placed to go as we had ordered it. We waited another 15 minutes. As we were waiting, another guest comes in and you can tell he is very pissed off. I hear him tell the manager that he has been waiting over an hour for a salad! A salad! Get out of here! What is going on. We ended up getting our food and it was cold. The hostess asked if we wanted them to recook it. No thanks, we already waited over an hour and we were starving. Avoid this place, at all costs! Go somewhere else. A few of our friends were about to order and we told them to go drive somewhere to eat unless they wanted to wait an hour for their food which might be correctly cooked or not. Shame on you Hilton for not monitoring your reviews and making sure past reviews were taken care of. I'm being generous by giving it 1 star. The hotel is nice, the restaurant is horrible. NO THANK YOU.

Delicious supper! Butternut ravioli and Thai salad. The menu has very good vegetarian selections. Worth a trip to the airport.

Wonderful experience last night…read more Jack was our server and he made our evening special. We got: -blackberry bourbon smash (we were difficult and asked for it with blueberries instead and they were able to do it!! The boy loved it) -Mattie's fresh white linen (like a green juice at the spa) -focaccia bread (just a tad undercooked but still delicious) -wild boar croquettes (surprised me, these were great) -8 oz filet (cooked perfectly medium rare with rosemary garlic butter -roasted carrots -baby broccoli (fantastic, wish I had more room in my stomach to finish) -pecan pie (not pictured) with the ice cream If you're a party for two, request a seat near the window! Our server was friendly though there were a bunch of servers who stopped by our table overlooking the course of the night. All were pleasant, though our server asked us if we were there for a special event when we sat and we said no, then at the end of them meal he though it was my husband's birthday, but not in a "here a drink on the house" kind of way, just an awkward comment. I got the bone in pork chop which came on a serving shaved Brussel sprouts. The pork chop was perfectly cooked and very tender. Our server recommended we get a side, so we tried the truffle Mac and cheese, it was fine but not great-it was not all that cheesy though we could taste the truffle. I wouldn't recommend it. My husband's risotto with filet and mushrooms only had the scantest amount of filet and mushrooms though was very flavorful. When it arrived at our table it had sloshed all over the serving dish and the server said she was going to fix it it just went to the servers station (2 feet from us) and then came back a minute later-I'm not sure what exactly that fixed but the presentation certainly was not that of a dish that costs $50! I had the smoked Sazerac for my drink. It was nice and the cherry smoke imparted a great flavor though it's not supposed to be served with an ice cube. Additionally, the ice cube within was not clear or perfectly cubed. For a $22 cocktail, this was a miss in my book. I had the crème brûlée for dessert and they strangely put very wet strawberries on the brûlée. I only got a very small space that I could attempt to crack the brûlée. It tasted delicious, though the strawberries really should have been served on the side. Between courses, a bear walked up the river which was an exciting development. This restaurant is beautiful and perfectly situated on a scenic river.

Probably one of my favorite restaurants in the area, Rampant Lion is clearly a family-run business…read morethat focuses on making social connections over quick get-food-and-go. It's pretty cool. I would never come here if I was in a hurry, but if you have 2+ hours to eat and want good food in a storied place with staff who will treat you like friends, you're going to love the Rampant Lion. NOTES: -In rural TN, it should not surprise you, but be aware that they have Trump displays in the restaurant. -The restrooms are single stall and accessed from outdoor. They're indoor restrooms - just the door to access them is on the outside. (No porta potties) They're solidly clean - just make sure to pack clothing that works for the temperature outside because you might be dipping outside a few times. -Parking lot is small and gravel. Relatively easy to get in and out of though. -Amazing gin selection with staff that *clearly* knows their gins. -Adorable photos of the owners on slideshow of their trip to Europe on the wall. It's adorably and clearly a couple who was on a good vacation. We've had a good chunk of their menu at this point. Pretzels: Delicious beer chese AND delicious pretzels. Quite a bit of food with this too. Bread, Oil, & Vinegar: Wasn't super fond of this one. A ton of oil in a bowl made it hard to get the right oil-to-vinegar ratio. Chicken Pie: Deliciously breaded with super-tasty french fries too. Served piping hot, so it took a bit to be able to eat it without burning myself but a wait well-made. Reuben: Partner absolutely loved it and said the bread was the absolute perfect consistency. SO much meat in there too (though he said it could use a bit of extra dressing). Bubbles and Squeak: Delicious. Just delicious. Zero notes, you should eat it. Beanie Weenies: Home-made right in the restaurant! My favorite thing on the menu. Super savory, semi-healthy (beans...at least?), and served super warm. Comfort food at its finest. Menu in-restaurant was different than online one on a few things.

They have an insane number of whiskeys so my husband was all about that. The food was good.
