Cocktails were well done and the wine pairings recommended astute. Nothing to complain about except some of the items were cold - there was one person serving the entire bar and restaurant and obviously had some timing issues. Also some attitude: after delivering cocktails to my wife and me he forgot her mom's - after I reminded him he said "oh I know" and then proceeded to serve four other patrons' order at the bar and then another two top's before even starting hers. It finally arrived after the cold mushrooms were delivered. I'm chalking this up to a short staffed situation and a specific individual, so if you live nearby or are traveling through looking for a nice spot for dinner or lunch I would definitely recommend. The environment is also very pleasant with a nice bar and dining room of high top tables.

If you don't like pouring beer for people (which does seem like a super great job), get a different job. Our food took an hour and a half to arrive. During that time, our waiter was extremely loud and obnoxious, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere rather than a welcoming one. There was no meaningful communication or apology for the delay. When the food finally arrived, it was cold and completely lacked flavor, which made the long wait even more frustrating. For the prices charged, the quality was nowhere near acceptable. What concerned me most was overhearing staff openly tell another customer that they had intentionally overbooked the night but "didn't know it would be this bad." That statement alone explains the entire experience. This wasn't an accident--it was a conscious decision to prioritize volume over service and quality. Valentine's Day is predictable. Restaurants know it's one of the busiest nights of the year. If you choose to overbook intentionally, you are responsible for maintaining service standards. Tonight, those standards were nowhere to be found. This experience showed a lack of planning, professionalism, and respect for customers' time and money. I hope management takes this seriously and reevaluates how they handle high-volume nights, because this is not something people will forget.

The star of the meal was my wife's order of Bangers and Mash. The Bangers were good but the mashed potatoes with gravy and onions were perfect. If I were ordering again that's what I would get. If you are okay with minimal table service and slightly loud music, then I would definitely give it a shot.
