Traveling always comes with one food-related risk: finding a place you love and knowing you may never get the chance to go back. I'm no stranger to Irish pubs. It's one of my favorite cuisines, so I was excited to try this place after finding it on Yelp. It was my last night in town on a work trip, and I finally had a little time to unwind on my own before heading home the next day. As soon as I walked in, I could tell from the atmosphere that I had found the right spot. I sat at the bar and was greeted almost immediately by the bartender (Laura M.), who was friendly and attentive throughout. The couple of other patrons nearby were also welcoming. At this point, I'm starting to think that might just be a Knoxville thing. This was my third trip to the city, I think, and I've had a similar experience each time. I ordered the Scotch egg with blueberry compote and the cottage pie with a side of onion gravy. I would have liked a little more sausage on the Scotch egg, but that is about the only critique I can come up with. Everything was hot, fresh, and full of flavor, and both are dishes I would absolutely order again. I also tried a couple of local beers: a PB&J sour from XUL Beer Company that somehow really did taste like drinking a PB&J sandwich, and the Dr. Robot Blackberry Lemon Sour from Monday Night Brewing. Both were excellent. Overall, this was a great experience, and I'll definitely be looking for a reason to come back to Knoxville just so I can eat here again. read more

Met friends for a drink recently. Only had beers which they have a good selection of. Seems like a nice place and the staff was friendly.

We stopped in on a Monday night for dinner. Everyone was sitting at bar when we arrived and sign said order at bar and sit anywhere. We waited for group to order ahead of us and then stoped up to side of bar to order. After order sat down at a high top table. They had a few high tops and lower tables in sitting area. There are a few TVs and a small stage. The music was a little loud but we were still able to have a conversation. The start of the food were Rueben balls. Five came out for the order with mustard and thousand island. These were good but could have been a little warmer. I got the fish and chips. It came with tartar sauce and a small Cole slaw. The fish was a single piece that was about two inches thick and about six inches long. It was very flaky and very well cooked. Plenty of chips came with the order. They were well seasoned. The star of the meal was my wife's order of Bangers and Mash. The Bangers were good but the mashed potatoes with gravy and onions were perfect. If I were ordering again that's what I would get. If you are okay with minimal table service and slightly loud music, then I would definitely give it a shot. read more

I have had a lot on the menu but the best thing imo is the fish and chips! The batter they make is top notch and you can get whatever kind of seasoning on the fries. It's easier to order at the bar l, but the staff is so nice! There are a bunch of tv's to watch games and weekly activities. It has a very friendly atmosphere! read more

Saw a recommendation on Nextdoor about Dullahan's, so had to try it out. Authentic Irish dishes (I am from Ireland, so know the difference). Don't expect fast meal service as everything is made fresh, not just reheated. Best Cottage Pie I have ever had (the Guiness Onion Gravy is the Secret). Great lightly battered Fish & Chips. Great Customer service. A little noisy, but worth the trip into Farragut to try. Going to be a regular stop for us. read more

On Friday night at Delahan's Irish Pub in Farragut, Odin and I were denied entry by the door guard, William Camp, one of the owners, who refused to allow my service dog despite being informed he was a service animal, claiming no dogs were permitted. After dismissing my mention of legality - Odin and I left the establishment. The next morning, I returned with my service dog to speak to management about what had occurred. Camp, who reiterated that service animals were not welcome, stated he did not have to comply with the law, refused to review legal documentation, and threatened to call the police, explicitly denying service; a disabled veteran, and to any disabled person without requiring papers, which is illegal under the ADA. Came in tonight for the first time tonight, I will say my bartender was the only saving grace for this place. Emma was amazing but the place is gross. I went to the restaurant and saw into the kitchen and instantly regretted eating there. It was horrific and explains the smell that is still lingering on me as I type this from my home. It's apparent that the owners do not care about the upkeep of the establishment or about the guests experience. The food is outstanding. My personal favorite is the Fish & Chips. But don't forget to get dessert. For me, it was the Guinness Brownie. They have beer on tap. a vast wine and whiskey collection There is a great crowd full of locals having a blast. Make sure when you stop by to ask to meet the co-owners, Ben and Will. We were really looking forward to trying this place out, drove over 45mins to celebrate my wife's birthday. Arrived before 7. Wanted the "Ruben ball"......sorry we're out of those we were told......wanted to order the cottage pie....sorry we're also out of the, we sell out everyday...... if you're food is that good and you run out everyday, do a better job in meal prep. If you like delicious Irish pub stables like scotch eggs and traditional Irish menu items, you will love this new addition to Farragut's restaurant/pub scene. They have Harp on tap, which is a rarity in this area, and the service is amazing. They are still new and are still developing the layout inside, but I am very excited they are here in the community and can't wait to se the finished product. First time customer tonight. I met the owner at the end of our night. I told him our party of six thoroughly enjoyed our drinks and food. Great ambiance with the live music. Waitress was fantastic. Could use a good cleaning. Smelled of old cooking oil. Guinness was cold which was good. I really wish it had been a better experience.

We were very excited to have an Irish pub close to our home. Arrived about 6 pm on a Tuesday evening. Had to find our own table and then wait a while for a server to come by. Ordered Guinness (the main reason we wanted to try this new restaurant) and fish and chips for both of us. The drinks came quickly but then waited at least 50 minutes for our meal. The food was very good but very small portion for the price(having recently enjoyed the fish and chips in Ireland!). Had high hope for an Irish Bar in the neighborhood. First few visits were great. This time, the beer was still cold and the food was good, but the service was terrible. Basically self service. They need some more help. Had to show a credit card to get service and did not use the card, but paid cash. Was charged 3% for using the card anyway. Might not go back. Sad. read more

Went for lunch with 6 guys. We go to lunch every few weeks and try different places. There were more flies than people in this place. Laminated menu. OK, should be able to cook anything on it well. I usually get a Reuben when out since it's a pain to make at home. The bread was marble rye and just added on to the sandwich. No grilling or toasting. Never saw that before. We stopped in here for happy hour beer and food. While they are still working on the decorations and ambiance, the beer was good and the food was over the top! The quality, taste and quantity were excellent. Service was attentive and friendly. We had the Cottage Pie and the Rueben sandwich with fries. All were amazing, clearly made with love. We visited on a Thursday night at 6 pm as a party of 6. At first, the bartender was the only server, then after about 45 minutes we observed another server on duty. Chair heights (much lower) were mismatched with bar height tables and the atmosphere was definitely not 'Irish' pub feel. They were out of 3 different draft beers and did not have the Scottish Eggs from the food menu. Ordering was challenging and when we did receive our 2 appetizers 40 minutes later, the food was good.
