This place was terrible!! I just moved to this side of town and I was searching for a new nail place. I found them on Yelp and was so impressed with the comments that I had to try them. There were numerous issues: 1. I called for an appointment and still waited almost 40 minutes past my appointment time...even though I arrived 10 minutes early. 2. I started with the owner, Michelle. She did a fantastic job on two of my nails. Then two regulars came in...who had appointments and she left me to go with one of them. Hardly the way a new customer should be treated...especially if you want them to be a regular. 3. I was handed off to someone with very little to no experience. He was so unaware of what was happening that he tried to use the dremel to file down my nails that had already been filed down because he thought there was already acrylic on them. His hands were shaking...and he didn't listen when I asked for the acrylic to be thin. My nails ended up being very lumpy and very thick. The straw that broke the camels back was when he picked up the dremel and immediately hit my cuticle. I backed up and stated I would wait for Michelle to finish with her customer. 4. Michelle immediately stopped what she was doing to finish up with me. She did what she could to smooth out the ridges and lumps and make the nails as thin as possible. I did have to ask her to go over my nails with the gel twice because she was missing the top corners...and I had to ask her to smooth some lumps and the unevenness of the acrylic. That is something I don't think I should have to ask for. She should be able to see where gel or polish is missing and correct it herself. Instead, I felt like she was in a hurry to get me done and she didn't care. 5. Overall, I considered going back after all that...but today I've noticed the gel is cracking and chipping...not to mention, she didn't file the side edges of my nails and now they are growing out and lifting. Poor quality for sure. Not worth the $30 I paid. read more

VERY RUDE and HORRIBLE customer service. Been by twice and both times they tell me yes we have time (there was no one else waiting) so I call my girlfriend who was waiting in the car to come in and as soon as she walks in they start talking in their language and tell us they do not have time. I don't know if it's because we're lesbians (noticeable), Hispanic or because we're both on the chubby side as I saw in another review that the owner replied back saying that the person was too big and broke their chair that cost $200 in repairs and their service charge didn't even cost the repair I was in shock (always read the reviews) but regardless of their reasons/excuses for the RUDE behavior that is called DISCRIMINATION. They are HORRIBLE people that made us feel so disappointed in the way they spoke to us because I told them it was the second time they do this to us and it was not nice and they said they don't care. I have never in my life had such rude service and have never felt so discriminationed and felt like my money ain't worth their time. Came here with my fiance for mani-pedis. We were walk-ins, but it was early in the morning and there was no one else in the shop, so it was no problem. First thing I noticed was that the chairs they put both of us in didn't work. My favorite part of the experience is the massage chair because I have a bad back, so that was really disappointing. My fiance is very sensitive about his feet, so he got a basic pedicure. I asked for the tech to buff his nails, but she tried to put clear polish on. When I said no polish, she told him to put his shoes on and go over to the manicure chair. I asked him later, and she didn't buff them at all. I got the deluxe pedi (again, it should have had the massage chair!) The hot rocks and the sugar scrub thing was very nice, as one of the first times I've treated myself to it. The callus removal was the first time I've ever had someone use a cheese grater on my feet. I was skeptical at first, but seeing the amount of dead skin come off was grossly satisfying! I was worried they'd take too much off or cut me, but the tech was very careful and did a good job. The polish and cuticles look great, and the pedi was one of the best I've had. My fiance's and my mani were both rushed as a woman came in with her kids all to get mani-pedis as well. My fiance didn't get his nails buffed but she put something on them at least. My cuticles could have been smoother, but overall it was a pretty nice job. I wish he would have used the second color on my ring finger--he rushed me and didn't get to it. My bigger peeve was when they refused to give me a receipt--they said since I paid cash, I don't get one. Mind you, I just spent over $100 in this place. They could have hand written something, for all I care, but they really just said NO. I was affronted, took a business card and wrote how much I spent, date and time, and left. A great mani-pedi doesn't mean you can be rude when you get busy. (They do not have bathrooms for customers, either--sent my waiting fiance to the restaurant/market across the parking lot while I finished my mani.) --- GREAT pedi. Stars docked for rudeness of staff, not buffing nails, no working spa chairs for deluxe spa pedi, no restrooms, and refusing to give receipts to paying customers. read more

Absolutely terrible. They had no interaction with me. I asked for a specific nail design and the lady told me no because she couldn't do it, like I was not paying for the services. They could not even slide my card properly, it took them 45 minutes to process my payment. Also, they have a very limited staff. When I went they had three people running around helping 5 plus. My pedicure was very relaxing though, and for a manicure and pedicure it was a very reasonable price of $40. read more

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. I called a full hour ahead to see if they were busy. They said to come in in 30 min. So I just told the lady that answered that I would be there in an hour. I went in with my daughter at the time I said we would be there, they said it would be another 35 min, uhhh okay I guess I was already there. Then we started to pick out nail color when one of the nail lady's asked my daughters age, I said she was 11. I never had any problems at any other nail salons. I have been looking for a place to have hot stone massage with my pedicure and had read some of the yelp reviews and so this is the first place I tired. Unfortunately, I will probably pass in the future. Pros: Clean Shop, nice staff, decent cost (I got the deluxe) and the polish really held up (almost a month). Cons: They use a cheese grater to tackle your calluses (cheese graters are to grate cheese not to remove your calluses). The hot stone massage was literally up and down 2 times on the sides of my legs, turn the stones over and up and down another 2 times. (Not my idea of a hot stone massage.) It looks like I will keep looking for a spa that does a better job of the hot stone massage. read more

Don't like that they make you pay before you get your service started. Got a full set here. The guy who did my nails would not make them as short as I wanted. Claimed with the style (almond) he could not go short. If filed down they could have been shorter. I paid for extra strength callous remover on my pedicure and when she was done I had to tell her all the callus was still there. She claimed she had used the extra strength one. It was the fastest crappiest pedicure I've ever had she didn't file my toe nails down or remove the dead skin away from them. Waste of $80! I will not be back.. read more

They offer a wide variety of pedicure options . The ice cream. Pedi sounded great but I'm on a budget so we opted for the simple deluxe pedi for $35 . They give a hot stone massage with purchase. Very clean environment I just wish they had music. Smells good in here too. And for the guy who I've heard people's opinion about. I've only been once for a gel manicure, and I absolutely was pleased with the results. Very big part that made me happy was they did what I requested. This was very important to me being that my regular nail lady told me what I wanted would take too long and she was only willing to put the design on one nail as opposed to all of them. Mind you it was just a simple bow, AND I was paying for it, not asking for a freebie! I wore my manicure on vacation and beat it up in the pool and at the beach with little damage. I tried to return for new set, but the wait was 1.5 hours. Whilev that can be seen two ways, I just get ansy and want what I want when I want it. Tried a few places but wasn't impressed at all. Then I read the reviews on yelp and decided to give Ruby nails a try. I made an appointment and arrived on Wed. and it was empty.. so Michelle the owner, took care of me. I had the Deluxe Pedi since I am going away for a month or so and don't want to have to look for somewhere to get a pedi while away. She did an excellent job.. perfect, just how I love it.. she used the tools I like.. took her time with me. (I had plenty of time) and did a great job. The salon is extremely clean and everything looks brand new, the massage chairs were so comfy I could have fallen asleep. This will be my go to place for pedis that is for sure!! read more

I got the deluxe pedicure & WOW! Definitely worth the money! They do the salt scrub, hot stone massage & mask which all-in-all, is a great relaxing experience. If I could give it zero stars or less I definitely would. I came Saturday to do my nails as I do almost every 2 weeks since it's the closest to me, this time my GEL nail polish came off literally that same night the next day after work I went to get them fixed but they were closed. I went again and no luck, today I went and finally found them open. I let them know and I could NOT believe the disgusting customer service these people had. The old lady and the guy treated me like trash, the old lady started legitimately screaming at me she was shaking almost about to cry from the anger that she did not want to fix them. Like why ?! It's a GEL mani and they're suppose to last and I always give them about 15 tip for mani and pedi I was so disgusted by them I couldn't not believe how angry they were talking about I peeled them off and I should of gone the next day. I went to Ruby Nails after leaving a nail shop down the street. I made an appointment for this shop down the street for a fill and pedi, but was sitting in water for about 45 mins while 3 ppl just kept walking pass me speaking Vietnamese. That's a review for that nail shop. When I called to make am appointment for Ruby I didn't think they would let me come RIGHT in. When I got there the lady in the front wasn't very nice. She wanted to know what I wanted done. I told her I wanted a fill and a pedi. I told them I needed the most expensive pedi because let me tell ya being on lockdown didn't help me pedi wise lol. To Select the pedi services via these papers hung on the wall was a bit confusing. Not to mention the older women in the front wasn't very helpful. I thought if I told her this is my first time bring here she would be little helpful but she deff wasn't. After all of that the total for a gel pedi and a full on short nails came out to $115. It was a bit pricey but I needed it and thought since I paid a nice amount I would get the services I get when I go to my normal nail spa's or nail bars in use to. Well the older lady DEMANDED I paid first I was a bit puzzled at first. This is not something I have ever been told before. And because of the older lady shity attitude I took offense by this. I asked why and she told me if I didn't then I can get out. I seen this situation going totally south and didn't want to go through any of it I politely asked for her to calm down and to explain. The only other person in the shop explained this was the policy and pointed to a sign. I said okay and got my card out to swipe. I didn't like the services this far and didn't like the policy. At thus point I could just walk out and wait until my normal spa was back open but again it had months. I swipe and the machine is not working this very rude lady says I don't have money to pay. I immediately open my Bank of America online account that showed $8,688 in my checking and a little over double in the savings. They started talking in Vietnamese and although I wanted to say yah bish not every black person broke like you think. I just stood there as they tried to figure out what was wrong with they machine. I ended it with letting them know I would go to the atm and the women didn't want me to leave lol. When I left I looked at the reviews for them and seen enough to make me just go home but I didn't I want back. I seen something on Instagram on how this one restaurant was beyond nice to this black lady who said she did reviews for a living. She said how she had been to this place before and they treated her poorly but went back with the story they she did reviews and they treated her like a celebrity so I tried it. Now the lady said nothing else to me and the guy treated me beyond nice, my pedi was beyond fabulous and my fill was great. I have nothing bad tho say about my pedi or my fill. It's been 2 weeks and they both still look Fab. I will say they need to replace the women in the front and also have a better approach to this paying first thing. I deff think that my Awesome services had something to do with the fact that a review of such would have followed idk. I actually like it because some places tell you a price and then change it because they said they added more things to you nails. They did my nails just like I told them to. I really enjoy this salon, especially their nail design choices they have available. They do a really great job, and pretty quick too! I love how detailed and meticulous they are with their designs, and they really put a lot of effort in. I love the customization, and I will be back in the near future! Update: Came back after being out of the country for awhile, and wasn't too impressed unfortunately. There was poor communication amongst three people and myself. I really just wanted my natural nails filed, with addition to only three tips on specific nails that were damaged, and a gel manicure with design. It turned out to be a three ring circus involving acrylic nails, hot gel, and no I can't do design. Fortunately it worked out in the end, and the nail technician was able to sort the situation out. I do like my nails, but I didn't want my natural nails cut down to stubs and tips put on. Now I have to start over with growing them out. Also, the owner, i believe, made me pay in advance prior to even sitting down. The price kept changing so I had to keep giving her my card. It was very unprofessional to charge a customer in advance and make me tip prior to even getting anything done. Super awkward, not ok. Furthermore, $70 is way overpriced for this type of nail salon. It's not properly kept up, and isn't very clean. They have low health standards with dirty supplies and tools that don't come in a sanitized bag like normal salons. I really do like the nail designs and the lady who does them. She is very sweet and i come back for her. The original price of $50 for her artwork I was definitely ok with as she is talented and should be paid accordingly. If there was a way to hire her privately, i would. With all that being said, i probably won't be a regular anymore. I can't justify the exorbitant price for a low standards and bad communication. read more

STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE! If I could give 0 stars I would. I am new to Vegas so I decided I'd try out the salon close to my house, which happened to be Ruby Nails. I walked in and it was completely empty (should have been my first red flag but I figured why not). So I explain to the women at the desk that I had S&S on my nails and she tells me they don't do that so I said that's fine I'll do gel nails. She says okay $25 and you pay now. So I paid and we sit down. She touches my nails and then says we don't have this color. I was confused because we had just had the conversation that I wanted to get the gel nails. She then says I have to get a fill in. And I was like what? Why would I do that? I explain to her that I want the s&s powder removed which only requires to be soaked, she says $10 more. And I'm like you knew before I paid that it needed to be removed. She clearly didn't know what she was talking about or doing. She proceeds to take them off in the most painful way basically ripping it off, causing layers of my nail to be broken off making my nails extremely thin and fragile. She sees that it is extremely painful and just smiles at me. I pick a color and then we sends me to another chair with another tech (which I've never experienced before either). He starts applying the gel polish which by the way looked nothing like the color on the display. But it was close and I didn't mind but it wasn't the same at all. Fast forward 2 days later I happen to look at my nails and notice a crack and chipped polish. I was like that's odd this shouldn't be happening at least not this soon. But as I just moved I was unable to come back immediately because I'm trying to get things in order. So another day goes by and another crack appears and my nail is broken. So then I decide to come in on my off day (weekend) and I politely explain to them the issue. She says okay I'll fix it for you then she says $5 per nail. Umm no I already paid you once and you didn't do it right why would I pay again and PER NAIL at that. I ask for my money back and no where does it say that they do not give refunds. Another women walks in and waits behind me. At this point I'm telling the women I would really just like my money back so that I can go somewhere else. And she says owner not here she's in California I can't give money back. And I ask when will the owner be back so that I can come she then motions to the women behind me and ask her what she wants as if I'm not still standing here. At this point I am pissed you're not going to disrespect me so I ask her again and she rolls her eyes at me and starts speaking to her coworkers in their native tongue clearly about me. She then guides the women behind me to a chair and walks away as if I didn't exists. At this point I'm heated and didn't want to cause a scene so as I walk towards the door so says something else to me and her and her coworkers begin to laugh. I always see reviews like this online (yelp Facebook etc) but I never thought I'd be on to make it. I was highly disappointed with the quality of work and disgusted by the customer service. I have never been disrespected like that but now I understand why it was so empty when I arrived both days. Terrible terrible terrible. Do not waste your time or money here. Never again. They should be ashamed of themselves. I didn't get her name but all interactions were with the women who doesn't have eyebrows. I should have known better. read more

Prices are still fantastic and everything I loved before about it is still the same, but Shauna, the new owner, is awesome with designs. I get overlays done and can bring her in any picture of nails and she will do them just like it. She also has tons of design examples on display to help with any undecided nail design enthusiasts. (Mind you I only see Shauna, I cannot comment on the others there). My husband and I also get pedicures done and the massages are to die for. I was worried about the pricing when I came in after reading all these reviews but they proved me wrong. It was absolutely amazing. 50 for gel/acrylic set with her beautiful handmade designs. Shauna was so sweet and made me feel right at home. And she was fast! I was a walk-in on Sunday morning and she got me right in and out in well under an hour.
