First time at First Nailz...but not the last! I'm super picky about my nails-specifically shape & polish so I almost never have someone else do my pedicure. I know I'm picky, but sometimes the polish is just absolutely horrible.! Lumpy, all over the skin, partial nail painted, poor sloppy nail shaping....so many things! I was referred to FN by a friend and she too is particular. I can't believe I had not come here sooner. I live less than 0.5 mile away! I decided to rill the dice and hope for the best but prepare for the worst. I was SO HAPPY with Han my manicurist. She was sweet and friendly and EXCELLENT @ her job! I had the Deluxe pedicure and she actually took her time and gave me a DELUXE pedicure! She paid attention to detail, was thorough with the shaping AND polish was on point! Wow. Ty so much Han for such a delightful pedicure and becoming my new favorite manicurist to give me a pedicure. I've literally NEVER said that about ANYONE! She's the Best! When I first came here it was not planned and I had no complaints. My tech had great customer service, pedicure was top tier. This second time was the last time. I got a signature pedicure with GEL polish the first time and I came back for the same today. This tech told me if I wanted callus removal it would be $5 extra dollars. I simply responded, "No, it comes with the package." I pointed it out to her on the Menu and briefly explained I been there before and pointed to where I sat. Told her I grabbed a menu as well. Then she says if you want Gel it will be an additional $20. I am not paying $70 dollars for a pedicure. Absolutely not. The tech then proceeds to go back and forth with me, which already rubbed me the wrong way because I shouldn't be arguing with you over what I WANT and the price and service I received. Then when she is doing adding the polish, after two coats it's very light, I simply ask to add an additional coat. On everything, she was about to fix her mouth to charge me for that! I gave her a look and she was like "Oh I'm gonna add it." Like I'm sure you are. I'm very disappointed. I felt rushed. Treated unfairly. This shop doesn't even have their menu hanging up anywhere which gives them the grounds to charge what they please. Every employee should be quoting each customer the same prices. Not what they feel should be quoted. I understand we are going through inflation, but I may just have to learn how to give myself pedicures because at least I would be relaxed & getting what I want. read more

I was disappointed with the work I received. My feet were wiped rather than scrubbed and the nail polish on my big toes was not completely removed. When I mentioned it, the tech said it was alright and continued to work and place acrylic nails. I had to keep pushing. I was concerned because she drew a little blood but she said it would be okay. When I left, the work looked alright however my feet hurt the next day and continued to get worse. Within days, I had to remove them. My nails got infected, even now I am still recovering. I have not returned to this salon, and don't plan to. The energy in the shop all felt rushed and I couldn't relax. My tech did not attempt to put me at ease or address my concerns either. read more

Went from long healthy natural nails to thin, bending nails with a mediocre design..I paid $70 to ruin my nails. I'm so upset! The top left is my nails two weeks prior. They were strong and so pretty. Top right is how I left. Thin and brittle. Aren't we supposed to go to "professionals" to maintain the health of our nails? Then why am I leaving with my beautiful nails in this horrible state? Took 6 months to get them healthy on my own for someone to RUIN them in 45 minutes. I asked for the shape and flower design in the bottom right photo and got the design in the bottom left. I did ask for her to fix the shape of a few flowers and after much focus and dedication, I was still left with these scribbles. My 3 year old daughter can draw a better flower. I don't understand how she looked at this and thought, "yes, these look like flowers and are beautiful." Top it off, one of the gems / rhinestones already fell off. I just got my nails done yesterday evening. Not even 24 hrs later. It's so hard to find salons that are clean and techs that actually know what they're doing. Using extremely old nail files on clients and not a new one per client. At this point, I have to cut my nails short and start over, because they'll start breaking if they're already bending. I've been coming here for about a year and I always leave feeling "okay". I'm never really happy with my service. This is my last visit. read more

Ok. I can't remember his name, I think Andrew? Anyway I came late and they didn't have time to do what I wanted so I went with something random. The nails are different. He covered the cuticle Which looks ok for like 2 days but we all know that's gonna create lifting as the nail grows. Took 3 days before the first nail broke. I will say the other 2 salons I tried the nails lasted longer. Anyhow. 2 days later another nail broke. The pedicure was good though. I'd give that 4 stars but 3 between that and my nails. When I first called and made an appointment, they were so helpful and happy to answer all my many questions about ombré nails and their products. They were also able to get me in the next day. Then when I got there they were so professional and kind, guiding me and letting me know the price and everything before we started! He paid attention to detail like no other nail artist I've ever had before! They were so friendly and let me relax, but were also talkative and engaging. They have a really easy signin system and their staff is super friendly. I sat with Tony and he did amazing work. I had a gel mani and pedi and paid only 90$, of course, I tipped him cash! I must say the other techs were also very professional and the other clients were all smiles. They prefer appointments be scheduled ahead but on a Friday afternoon they were able to fit me right in! Their color selection was incredible. They offer many additional services at reasonable prices. My favorite part of the experience was their customer service. It is rare to visit a nail salon and see all the staff smiling and being joyful with the clients. I did not feel that they were rushing anyone and I loved that Tony did both my mani and pedi. The woman doing my nails was telling me you didn't have clear tips which I got twice there and then told me you didn't have the pink tint color I got last time from Han. You yourself Hong yelled at me and refused to communicate what I wanted because I couldn't remember the exact number of the color I used last time and told me that clear tips wouldn't look good on my nails. I got my nails done by them in the morning. I texted Andy the day before with two options for a design to make sure that it was something they could do. He said that he could do something similar. When I went in that morning, I was attended to immediately. He shaped my nails pretty quickly and got started on the design. About halfway through he accidentally dropped white paint on the ground which got on my shoes and later on I saw it was also on my jeans. He did try to wipe it off but I guess it was hard to see in the lighting since my shoes were already white. I tried to be understanding because accidents happen, however, when I left later, I saw that the streaks from wiping were on my shoes as well (which were expensive to me, they were air forces). I was not offered a discount or anything because of this and it kind of rubbed me the wrong way. The nails turned out alright, they were $110 which I personally felt like was a lot for the length. He claimed it was because of the design so maybe i'm just used to to prices in a different city since I just moved back to Las Vegas. I had an issue with one of my nails because it seemed that the white cast was too much. I asked him to fix it and he explained that he could do it less but he wasn't sure how much the drill would take off. I didn't think he meant that he wouldn't try to redo it if it was taken off. All he did was paint over it after. I do think some of the lines on the nails could have been done better, some were a little crooked and some of the glitter got on the part of the nail that was supposed to blend with my natural nail. I don't think i'll be returning because of these couple things. read more

Initially came to the salon bc the pictures online looked very promising. For the most part the staff very nice and welcoming when I first came in. The man doing my nails was a younger man with tattoos on his arm and I asked for French tip nails. I'm not sure if he was new but the French tip work was disappointing. I pointed out a few things on my nails that needed to be fixed and he would "fix" it but it would look the same as before. Made a same day appt and was seen promptly when I arrived. I chose this place bcs it's the closest nail salon to my home and I figured if they did a good job then I'll definitely be back. The guy that did my refill was super fast - he finished in less than half an hour. Umm ok. He got a bit annoyed when I told him I wanted my nails shorter bcs they had gotten too long. At first I thought he did a decent job, that warrants at least a 4 star review... but I decided to hold off on the review until my nails grew out a bit, that's when you can really tell if it was a good job or not. When I got home I had to round out the edges myself bcs it was too sharp and was scratching me up. I also had to bluff out the cuticle areas... all stuff that I chalk up to me being a little OCD. 3 weeks later, you can really noticed the huge thick layer of acrylic on half of my nails. They were uneven, chunky and took forever to remove. So needless to say I won't be back. I'm all about efficiency but not a sloppy job. read more

I went to this salon to get my pedicure and ombre full set done for my wedding. The pedicure was extremely fast (my nail tech got it done way before the male tech finished his client, who had been there before me). Hanh, my nail tech seems crushing doing my nails by skipping cleaning my cuticles (I had to ask her couple times to clean it). She rarely filed my nails. I did ask her to make them look straight, but I think she did not understand. At the end, 7 out of 10 finger nails look crooked (please see picture). I was charged 150$ for both.
