I've been to Harmony Nails twice now, both times with Ly, and he's quickly become my go-to technician. My first visit was for a gel pedicure around lunchtime -- my first pedicure in a while, so I was a little out of practice! Ly was so kind and even reminded me I was welcome to use the massage chair. I was too shy to try it that time, but it was a nice touch that he offered. I went back today (Friday, 9:30 am) for another pedicure with Ly, and he didn't disappoint. He carefully removed my old gel and applied a fresh set, and the whole experience was attentive, efficient, and just genuinely pleasant from start to finish. If you're looking for a technician who's skilled and makes you feel taken care of, ask for Ly. I'll definitely be back! read more

after getting a full set, the owner named Tracy informed me that I had to wait 30 minutes to get my eyebrows done when she was not doing anything at all. I feel as if this nail shop is very biased towards Asian and white women when African-Americans come in, we have to wait longer and if we do need multiple things done she's only able to do one thing. This is the second year coming to this nail shop here in North Las Vegas and I really hope that Miss Tracy and her attitude towards African-Americans will change. The man that's inside of the shop is absolutely wonderful. He was fast professional, and if he was able to do eyebrows, I'm sure he was going to do them after sitting for an hour getting a full set. I was informed I had to wait another 30 minutes to get eyebrows done when there was nobody else in the shop with me and another African-American woman who's getting a pedicure. It seems that the shop will stop doing my nails to do eyebrows for an Asian lady, but when I just came to get a full set in eyebrows, I have to wait 30 extra minutes after waiting an hour. I've been coming to Harmony Nails for a while and normally I would give them 5 stars, which is why this experience was so disappointing. During my pedicure today, the technician cut the side of my foot and then simply put super glue on it. There was no real explanation or proper care for the cut, which was concerning. Safety and sanitation should always be taken seriously, especially during a pedicure. I also asked for a sunflower design and showed a reference photo. The technician said she could do it, but when it came time for the design she said she could only do one flower. I agreed to that as long as it looked like a sunflower, but the result looked more like a daisy and nothing like the picture. When I mentioned this, she became upset. I asked for the design to be removed, and after that she was very rude. I'm sharing this because I've had good experiences here before, but this visit felt careless and unprofessional. I hope the owner or management sees this review and addresses the situation, especially regarding customer service and safety, so other customers don't have the same experience. read more

This review is on behalf of my friend's expereince: I'm very disappointed with my recent experience at Harmony Nails. Before my friend's appointment, she called ahead to confirm that they accepted Giftory gift cards. She was told they did. After receiving her service, however, the manager informed her at checkout that they could not process the gift card after all. The manager then contacted Giftory and was told that an account needed to be created to redeem it, but the manager said they didn't know how to do that. Because of this, my friend was unable to use the gift card I purchased, and I ended up paying the $80 balance over the phone. This situation was frustrating and avoidable. If the business is going to say they accept Giftory cards, the staff should be trained on how to process them. I hope they improve their communication and procedures so other customers don't run into the same issue. read more

After years and years of having my nails done, i gave them a break for the past couple years so that my nail beds could heal and what not. So this was literally my first time at a nail salon as a walk-in, in a very long time! I was greeted immediately. I was given nail color books and choices to look at during my wait which was only about 10 minutes. The vibe was relaxing. The gentleman that did my fill and my pedicure was very friendly and attentive. Early April, I had a full set and pedicure done by the Tracy, the first table to the left when you enter. While doing my full set, she cut my thumb along the nail bed. It bled and she acted surprised asking "did I do that?" She was extremely non-chalant. She preceeded to do my predicted and did the same thing to my big toe. She was digging too deep and carelessly along the bed. At this point I asked her to stop and sanitize both my thumb and toe. Needless to say, I paid in full for the service but expressed my disappointment. Tracy said I could get a discount off my next service and gave a half ass apology. I've been to this place several times and even referred a few people with no issues. After this experience, I will likely never come back to redeem my discount t and if I do, it could never be Tracy. She seemed a bit disconnected, rushed and preoccupied while she juggled the phone and arrivals. It took 3 solid weeks before my toe completely healed. Be careful! read more

First time here and I left not impressed. My daughter got a full set and her tech cut her with the nail drill and didn't clean around the nail bed when she was done. My daughter got french tips and had white polish on the skin along the nail, there's also a piece of lint stuck under the gel that you can see. I had a pedi and gel mani. My tech didn't do a thorough job on my toes. You can see the first layer of polish didn't cover the entire nail. My nails aren't filed evenly for my mani. It's supposed to be rounded and some parts are flatter. The lines the tech did on my nails aren't even or clean. If I go there again I know two techs I definitely don't want working on my nails. I came to this place being that I'm new to this side of town and they were rated very high. I called the day before, the girl was very sweet and made an appointment for me and my Aunt. I arrived 6 mins late, my Aunt was on time but to a nice clean salon. I showed a picture of what I wanted for a pedicure from Pinterest. The lady that was doing my pedicure basically told me if I wanted a French manicure I have to do gel. I didn't want to do gel being that I normally do regular polish she couldn't do a French? Drying time to do the line she said plus it wouldn't be straight?! What does that even mean? People didn't get French manicures before (gel polish) existed on their toes? Of course they did and I have recently. Only difference was it was more neutral instead of a pink base with a white painted tip. I will attach a picture. So then the owner decides that I don't have to get a pedicure, I said I'll do your gel after 10 mins of getting told I have to but I won't come back! I have a toenail that needs care so I didn't want gel polish but it's also my choice. This place is definitely nowhere I will refer or tell anyone to come to. I will spread the word and the lady asked me if I wanted to leave and I just looked at her and said no worries and left. I've never in my existence or experience had this happen at any nail salon. The owner had the audacity to tell her she could stop on me. They were trying to hustle me, I've paid $100 at hotel spas for a pedicure it wasn't about the price. It's the principal! Do not visit this establishment, there's too many nail places to go in this town. I'm laughing all the way to my regular nail salon as she got me in immediately! This is the place to go if you like waiting forever and sloppy/rushed service. My mom and I made a reservation for a mani/pedi. Our foot spa wasn't started until 25 minutes after our reservation. It took another 30 minutes before anyone came to us and finally gave us a polish menu. As we were waiting, they sat everyone else that came in, except for 2 ladies that left after seeing how understaffed this place was. There were 3 ladies working and 8 customers. I had told the lady on the phone that I was doing a gel pedicure, yet regular nail polish was put on, so my left foot needed to be redone. However she redid it with regular polish and just put a gel top coat on. 2 days later and my nails are cracked, peeling, and chipped all over! We weren't asked what kind of spa pedicure we wanted. We didn't receive massages and no lotion was used. Once our pedicures were done, we waited another 10 minutes for my manicure. During this time we watched people who came in after us get serviced. Again, no massages or lotion on our hands. No basic nail or cuticle care. I was never asked how I wanted my nails shaped. The lady cut my finger and painted all over my skin. It was just a terrible manicure overall. I go get my nails done expecting something better than what I could have done at home, and I did not receive that. And, this was the most rushed manicure I have ever received. Clearly they were understaffed, but the service provided was sub-par. They either need to staff more or adjust their scheduling technique. Reject walk-ins, or let them know there's going to be a wait? Maybe even give your appointments a call and see if they can be pushed back? They took on more than they could handle. $75 to leave unsatisfied. The ladies were nice enough.... but it doesn't make up for the rushed service and crappy manicures. Too many mistakes to make with all of the salons out there. We will not return. read more

I have been coming here a lot lately since it's close to my house. The overall salon is clean & the owner Fifi is awesome!!! I got my first full set (ombre) done with her last week & they came out great. I typically come here for pedicures. The one time there was an issue with my gel pedi, Fifi was very kind & understanding. She told me to come in & get it fixed. She is super busy, but still made time to accommodate me herself without making it seem like I was a bother. This goes a long way with retaining customers! I've had nail salons deny they made a mistake, try to ignore my concerns, or act like it was my fault when a nail needed to be fixed.
