This place really sucks !! I used to come here two years ago and they had better workers it was Hannah and tom and vivian they were so polite and hard workers and always did my nails right ! But now its trash !! This lady wants to make her husband work and do peoples nails just because he helped her buy the place , but why would u do that if your husband cant get the job done right and customers that i saw getting their nails done with this man were so upset that they walked out without paying and another lady cussed him Out as well . I think they need to hire better workers .!! read more

I try not to question fellow yelpers' reviews but I seriously think something is wrong with these people! This was by far the worst experience EVER! I went in to get my pink and white nails taken off and then a manicure. I went in knowing I was going to be there for a long time. However, as soon as I sat down the girl cut them shorter (okay that seems pretty standard) and then what did she do??? SHE STARTED JUST RIPPING THEM OFF! WTF I tried my best to keep my cool but after two nails I let her have it. I said um aren't you going to soak them first? I got the standard oh okay I do for you. She then came back with a bowl and then a new girl to continue the process. What did the new girl do? She just started ripping them off. By this point I have had it I screamed at her to get off of me and that I was leaving I could do this at home. The other lady then came back and said oh no we soak them I so sorry. Then they finally start to soak them and guess what they didn't take the gel off so it did nothing but dry up my hands. At this point I notice this and tell them I am leaving. Busted nails and all the woman begs me to stay. I stay they take the rest of my nails off the proper way. Once it is time to do the manicure the woman kept pushing me into this SUPER expensive manicure. Which I didn't want and finally I agree because she has me trapped into a corner. However, after I saw how she filed my nails... (I could have done a better job myself and the reason I go get manicures is because I suck at shaping my nails) I said I do not want your fancy manicure polish. She got all pissed off and gave me attitude for the rest of the manicure. Why I tipped this woman I don't know. I guess being a waiter I know what it is like to live off of tips. The tip I wanted to give her and that place was to get new jobs. I will never step foot into that nail salon again! The only good thing I can say about this experience is I found out where the Little Cesar's is. read more

It's very rare that you get 2 first impressions. I'd have to say that these people had that and were very exceptionable and welcoming upon both of my arrivals. The first time, I was walking to the door at night when they were jut about to close. I was about to just ask if they had a menu of services that I could take and look over but the owner of the place actually led me in and explained each service with me and I appreciated that. Prices are as good as they get here, in my opinion with the treatment. For a basic manicure it starts at $10. The most expensive and spoiling treatment with mint scrubs and the such for your feet, comfortable massaging chairs, and manicure with a hand massage came to about $65 total. If that sounds reasonable for you, I'd say it's worth just taking a peek at the menu. When asking for someone to work with you, the young man with the black hair there is great at making you feel comfortable. He always asks to make sure that you are comfortable and does a fine job with his work. I'd say that you are in good hands with him. (I believe his name is Andy, but I'm not sure, will edit later when I find out.) The walls are lightly but pleasantly decorated with art and flower pieces, giving the place a very homey feel. It's a nice place when it's warm outside. They don't rush you and are great at answering questions. Overall, my experience was fantastic and I will be recommending it to friends that want to save a little money but get a great service close to home! This little spot is a great addition to the old Delk Theater parking lot and I'm proud to have it nearby! read more

Two reviews: Manicure vs. Pedicure Manicure: The ladies were all very sweet; however, the girl I had did a terrible job on my manicure. They aren't evenly shaped, the lengths are all different. Just bad. My step-daughter had the same experience too. Pedicure: Much better job on the toes than the fingers. The chairs that they use RULE! The prices for both are very reasonable. I called ahead and asked if they were taking walk-ins (plural) for pedicures (plural) and I was told that if we came in within the next hour, that would be fine as they would probably wouldn't be busy by then. We walk in and let them know that we're here for multiple pedicures and the gentleman I spoke to was professional about the situation and proceeded to seat us to service us. As he did so, an employee that was working on another customer, was shaking her head no, mumbling about us because according to her "they probably didn't even call for all we know and they expect to be serviced." Extremely RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL! If they couldn't take us in at that time, that's all they should've said. After that interaction I refused their service as I shouldn't sit there and give my money to a business that just doesn't want to service me and treats me as a liar. Please do better. read more

With all the hundreds upon hundreds of nail salons in the state of Georgia, it can still be very challenging to find one that fits ALL the basic criteria any beauty patron can ask for: 1) Great customer service 2) Great workmanship 3) Reasonable prices Ruby Nails has absolutely met my expectations! I recently received a gel manicure, spa pedicure and lash extentions. EVERYTHING lasted at least two weeks which makes their service worth every penny. Plus, they executed all my treatments in a timely manner. Oh! And for all it may concern: Yes, everyone spoke english clearly so there was never a misunderstanding about what I wanted. As with any business, some days are more hectic than others, so please consider that if you are the impatient type or have an extensive list of services you aim to achieve, then visit the salon during an early weekday. That is what I did. As a result, they were able to give me more attention and take their time to ensure my satisfaction. Last point: Though they do accept credit/debit cards, please bring cash for a tip. I am a tipper and I encourage all others to do the same =) read more

I rarely leave 5 stars but it's a good day! Sunday 2PM wanting a pedicure and most places had an hour wait. Checked the reviews and called and they had some time so I came in. Cute little shop in a great location. Nina took my call and she also did my pedicure. I woke up with the intent to come to the salon and be in my zone - I had tea in hand and a charged iPad but Nina was just so warm and welcoming I literally couldn't stop talking to her and I'm usually quiet at the nail shop. She may be my new bff like that's how much we chatted and I really really liked her! Not to mention she did my toes perfectly! Gentle, did not cut, good amount of time spent rubbing although tee talked the entire time (sometimes they start talking and the service may get cut short but NOPE!) and her nails were fire! This place really is hit or miss. Their inconsistency is very alarming. My nails weren't shape properly and the gel polish started chipping within a week. This place is really nice, I searched on Yelp for a high rated Nail salon near my house and this was the result. I was a little weary since there were only 2 reviews and I am VERY particular about my nails. I drive 20 miles to see my main nail technician but she was on vacation so I had to find a replacement and Ruby Nails did the job. Aesthetically the salon is very beautiful, very clean, lots of polishes and the staff is very friendly. I felt the nail technician rushed to do my manicure and the prices might have been slightly higher than most salons in the area but overall they served their purpose and I left pleased. read more

I was scared to check this place out due to the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised by the options and service. I got a manicure and gel polish which came to $40 which is fair compared to other salons and the great leather massage chairs. They offer a free service up to$25 after 10 visits which works for me. The staff was friendly, the wait time was a little long. I had the SNS done by the man working there. He trimmed my cuticles to bleeding and didn't smooth my SNS down enough. He was distracted and I'm pretty sure he dipped one hand 4 times and the other hand 2 times. They don't blend with my nails so as they grow out it is looking like I have a fake nail glued on. Every other place I've had them done files them to be more tapered toward the cuticle. I don't think this guy was very good at this. Maybe if you have a different technician. read more

Lovely place!! I came in here yesterday with my daughter for a bit of "girl" time and we had manicures and pedicures. We had to wait only about 8-10 minutes before we were both seated. I cannot remember the names of the sweet ladies that did our services but they were both very good! My nails look just lovely and I know my daughter is very happy with the design on her toes. I'm a big fan! I was looking for a new shop to replace my old one in Ormewood park after I moved, and this one is perfect. Close to home, and I've been there separate occasions with different girls helping me, but the result is always solid. You can get a good pedi for $20-25, which is standard. The place is clean and what you'd expect from a mid-level nail salon. I still go here, so, I'm satisfied with their service and the price is right. read more

I'm from out of town and am very loyal to one technician to do my nails back home, but since I was in the area for a while and really could NOT wait that long to get my acrylics balanced, I decided to go out on a limb and try something here. The girl did a fantastic job and it was soo cheap! Only $15 for a balance and I have had several people compliment me on how much they look like my real nails. Definitely will be going back! The only downfall was that I was the only one in the salon at the time (it was right after they opened) and they were all speaking in their native language the whole time which makes me uncomfortable. Come often since Madison has been gone I haven't had a great set. This is definitely a last minute option. Today I went in for refill and I new I shouldn't have set in jimmy seat but I did anyways. The lady before made a complaint about the design and she ended making him change up the design. At that point I could tell he was all ready annoyed by having to start over on her. Now It's my turn and I show him a picture I remembered hearing him tell the lady before me that she didn't show him a picture. So I did just that and I was hoping that he would do what I showed him. while I'm getting them done I'm trying to make sure that he's putting the diamonds in the right spot And not using too much glue, but of course he wouldn't let me look! he kept telling me to put them in the light! at the end I tell him I don't like them and I have proof that this is a f job and I shouldn't have had to pay $70. read more

The technicians here were really sweet and did an excellent job on both the gel manicure and spa pedicure. This place is not worth rating. I have my Gel set done religiously every two weeks. against my better judgment I let the non- professionals touch my nails and i couldnt get them to dry. After 4 cycles of cancer causing UV light drying sessions, they were still not dry. I came back for ado over after Easter. They told me dont mess them up! I am willing to pay for what I mess up .
