I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I felt this experience needed to be shared. I had my nails and a pedicure done here last Saturday with Ivy, and within just one week everything looked extremely unprofessional. I specifically asked for almond-shaped nails, but Ivy did not listen to what I was asking for. All of my nails were uneven, poorly shaped, and the polish application was messy, especially around the cuticles. There was noticeable lifting within just a few days. It got to the point where I felt embarrassed by how my nails looked and had to go to another salon to have them fixed, which is very frustrating after already paying for the service. My pedicure was also very disappointing. It felt rushed and was done in about 20 minutes, and the polish was uneven and already chipped shortly after. On top of that, I brought my niece with me, and she also received a pedicure and a gel manicure, so I spent a significant amount of money that day. Given the total cost, I expected much better quality and attention to detail. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience and not the level of service I expected. I would not return. read more

This place has new ownership. The staff is very friendly and they make you feel like you are more than a customer. I feel very comfortable going there as they know me, they address me when I come in and they make me feel like I really matter to them. I have had a set of nails on since early Dec and here we are end of Jan, and not one of them has come loose. They are still in tact, other than growing out. I recommend this place to everyone. read more

I am not one to leave reviews good or bad but I would absolutely not recommend Ruby nails. I paid almost $80 for an acrylic set and every nail came off after 5 days. I called to get them fixed, Ruby said she would fix them then proceeded to put a single coat of gel polish on my natural nails. Terrible customer service and quality of nail. My daughter-in-law and I decided to try a new place to get our nails done. She got a full set of Acrylic nails and I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure. First, when I made the appointment and asked about the cost I apparently was only given approximate pricing. Beware...they get you on any designs!!! Needless to say we both paid more than what we've ever paid before AND in less than a week...5 days to be exact, my daughter-in-law's nails began to pop off and my gel polish chipped!! I called immediately and asked if we could come back in to have them fixed and confirmed it would be at no charge. Ruby said yes, absolutely!! I called back 2 days later to reschedule due to being sick and inquired about a refund for my daughter-in-law. I was told their policy is to not give refunds, but she'll be happy to redo them for free So, my daughter-in-law went in for her redo and came home very upset with GEL NAILS...and very poorly done to say the least!! She was told the full set of acrylics she paid for last Thursday, that fell off by Tuesday WOULD COST HER MORE MONEY!!! SERIOUSLY??? Not even 1 day after getting my nails done with gel. $60 and they just peeled right off. Owner says I can't get a refund and just wants to redo them. It's an absolute waste of time to go to this nail salon. Will be calling the Better Business Bureau. These are the kind of places that make it so hard to get your nails done on a nice day off. I hadn't gotten my nails done in five years-- wanting to get my nails and toes done for my boyfriend's coworker's wedding last night, led me to this salon earlier that morning. The process was quick and easy-- told the nail tech about my appointment, and she told me to pick a color as I waited. I wanted what was practically the most basic mani/pedi ever-- white polish on my natural nails with a smoothing treatment ($55 total). The nail tech I had (wish I got her name!) did an excellent job with everything, from the massage and the actual nail polish job. I highly recommend this salon. read more

I wish I had good things to say about this place however I have been here multiple times trying to give this place a shot because there's been a few times I've had good service and a few times I've left there with bleeding nails and horrible service but today was definitely the last straw. If you guys see my yelp account I am not someone who does this often only when the service has been EXTREMELY BAD. Took 2 1/2 hours to leave that nail salon like this. Not only that, I tried being very nice about it and ruby the owner literally started talking crap about me INFRONT OF ME to my nail tech. That is the reason I am here writing this review. The salon was clean and the pedicure options offer a lot more services than other nail salons do for the same price. I really enjoyed it and it may be my go-to place for pedi's now. There were a lot of color options as well, which I appreciate as many other salons will only invest in 'safe' colors. The staff also helped redo my sisters nails for free after my sister's pedicure mistakenly got ruined by her shoes because I guess the nail color didn't dry as quickly as we thought it did. December 20th, 2021 around 1pm the true feelings of this individual "Owner"showed! Quick breakdown of events leading up to the disgusting treatment I received at this establishment! Called at 11am for service, arrived at 11:30am after being told to come, asked for nails to be done (Full-Set w/Gel) first before pedicure, Man (Allen) began my full-set $95, asked if they offer eyebrow waxing(Allen said yes), nails are done by 12:45pm, his wife (name unknown)attempted to wax my eyebrows in a pedicure chair, she completely remove part of eyebrow, my eyebrows were completely messed up, I stated that she damaged my eyebrows(I didn't say anything else), I began to get my pedicure from woman who damaged my eyebrows, I called a licensed esthetician to ask if I could get an appointment ASAP, She stated it would be best if I got there before 2pm, I stated I would just like to do a polish change instead so I was able to make it ( it's 1:28pm), then I tried asking Sandy "Owner" a question and was ignored at first, I attempted to get her attention again and she just stared at me, I proceeded to ask what Allen's schedule was to get refill on my nails, she replied " I think you should find somewhere else to go ". At this point I asked the woman to stop what she was doing and removed my feet from the water. I asked the "owner" to repeat what she just said. She didn't say anything, I'm now livid. I asked for a towel to dry my feet and the floor. I use a few choice words to express my frustration and ask why am I being told too find another salon. Allen , immediately starts asking the question most places ask people of color ; "Are you going to pay or not ?" He said. I replied " I never leave a establishment without paying what's owed!" Then I gave Allen my card while letting him know his boss is disrespectful. He asked "how?" I replied " She said for me to find another salon because her employee messed up my eyebrows and I contacted someone (licensed professional) to fix it. Then asked for your(his) availability and I being asked basically not to come back! I don't conduct business this way and I should have never been treated like that, like it's my fault!" I thanked him for his work and his wife even though she messed up my brows. Just so people truly understand, discriminatory practices happen here. I was never apologized too for the clear mess up on my eyebrows ! But what I did receive was employees and the "Owner" laughing with customers while I'm stating my eyebrows were damaged! They have cameras and I have a video as well. Sandy is the name of the owner, at least thats what I was told by the man who works there. read more
