Everything about this place made me happy. First, it is located in the middle of nowhere, which made me feel like I had found some sort of buried treasure. The atmosphere was a perfect blend of Wisconsin hospitality with twist of industrial simplicity. The menu was exciting, even for my kids. Each of us enjoyed every last drop of our drinks. I would recommend either the honey or maple latte; both were fantastic. Customer service was friendly and informative. Getting coffee was a special experience here. I wish we lived closer. Ruby, when will you be coming to CA?

Wow, what a gem! Perfect (truly) coffee. Smooth coffee and Ruby is truly passionate about make big a perfect cup. I'm about to order my second espresso macchiato...might even order a third soon. The location is a bit hard to find, but it's worth it to go. The building is cool!!!

    Colorful cold brew!

I can't say enough good things about Ruby Coffee Roasters. I really enjoy spending a slow Saturday morning here- savoring both the coffee and experience. Ruby roasts incredible beans and they're highly knowledgeable about coffee. Their tasting room is a great space, and their staff is welcoming & hospitable. Their espresso and lattes are always a great way to start the day. The Creamery Blend beans are awesome, and have become a mainstay for my pour overs at home. I've also enjoyed exploring new coffees through their offerings.

Fantastic coffee!! Not a lot to eat, but go now for the coffee, and help out a new local business.

We were drenched and decided that some hot coffee on the way out of town would be just the thing. Aquamos Coffee Collaborative to the rescue! It's in downtown Waupaca, so the parking is basically street or street angled parking. My husband was able to find a spot to sit with the car and camper while I ran in and got our coffee. Since it was lunch time and I noticed what sounded like a pretty stellar breakfast sandwich on their menu, I ordered us a couple of those as well. For our coffee we got the caramel roll latte (caramel-y, ever so slightly cinnamon-y deliciousness). They also have alternative milks, if you so desire. The breakfast sandwich was a sesame bagel with chipotle mayo, egg, bacon, and sharp cheddar--it was super flavorful and absolutely delicious. Oh...and I believe they're dog friendly. We were warmed up by the hot coffee and kickin' eats in no time. Thanks Aquamos! Get to it!

We're anticipating a breakfast menu beyond waffles, I would even be happy with yogurt and granola. The espresso as near as I can tell is a medium roast with great flavors, kind of a nutty finish and just a hint of chocolate. The most predominant flavor is coffee, which is my favorite. Perhaps as the baristas gain experience we will see latte art in a large ceramic latte cup as a lagniappe. The place is perfect, I hope it will be a permanent Waupaca establishment. Good WiFi, except for the day it didn't work.

For a latte, we went with two shot 12 oz, with the milk held down about 3/4 inch. The result is a perfect latte. Rich and robust, the flavor of the roast is striking. I'm not sure why anyone would add a flavor to this delicious caffeinated beverage, but then that's just me. I like the old jazz coming from the speakers as opposed to some of the crap thrust upon us at other places.

Staff weren't overly welcoming or chatty--no carried conversation or small talk--but they were polite and friendly enough. If you're looking for warm, high-energy service, this might not be the spot, but if you're okay with a more reserved vibe, it works. There was a bit of a wait for our drinks, which felt a little long considering we were the only customers being helped at the time. That said, the quality of the drinks made up for it. I had the lavender lemonade--super refreshing and light. My partner tried the orange cream chai and really enjoyed the flavor balance. Both drinks were thoughtfully made and tasty. That said, if I were in the area again, there's another local coffee shop I'd likely choose first--it had a more welcoming atmosphere and a similar drink quality. Still, this spot was a pleasant stop with creative options and might be just right for someone seeking a quieter, more laid-back experience.

Currently there is no Starbucks in town but I see they are building one right down the road. I mentioned this only because I am partial to the Starbucks Chai Tea which I also purchase at Costco for home use. But Cravings comes as closets you can get so I really appreciate the flavor of their chai tea. They also have fast and friendly drive through service. Next day my husband did a coffee/tea run and picked up some bakery items. We stay at the Mead Hotel every 3 months for quarterly meetings so this place has been one of our staple places to run to as it is only about 1 mile away on the main drag. One good thing about being able to review the same place multiple times is you get to sample more of their product for a wider range of reviews. This morning my chai teas was not as creamy as yesterday but it was still tasty. My husband likes strong coffee black. He had their dark roast and said it was ok. He said in all honesty the free hotel Coffee was better. I'm not a coffee drinker but I know my husband is fussy. We picked up two scones -chocolate chip and blueberry and they were served warm. The scones were fresh and not dry as some scones can be. They were tasty with a hint of sweetness. We also picked up two giant cookies - one chocolate chip and one white chocolate macadamia nut. The chocolate chip was chewy soft but the macadamia nut was very hard which suggests to me it may have been sitting around for a while. Both cookies were ok, nothing that would wow me. We always get friendly service thru the drive through.
