I made a morning stop at Ruby Coffee Roasters while passing through town, and it instantly felt like a place locals genuinely appreciate. I went with a grilled chai tea latte and an order of French toast. The chai had a layered spice profile -- hints of cinnamon and cardamom came through clearly without turning sugary. It had a comforting warmth and a smooth finish that made it easy to savor slowly. The French toast was beautifully prepared. Lightly crisp on the outside with a soft, custardy center, it had a subtle sweetness that didn't rely on drowning it in syrup. You could tell care went into the preparation, from the golden color to the balanced texture. The café itself has a modern yet welcoming design, with a calm atmosphere that makes it a great place to sit and relax. The team behind the counter moved efficiently and were happy to answer questions about their roasts. Ruby Coffee Roasters left a strong impression -- thoughtful drinks, well-made food, and a space that invites you to linger a little longer.

Solid cafe in the heart of Stevens Point. Great chill, hip vibe with great coffee and solid light fare. Recommend both the breakfast sandwich and breakfast BLT. Both come in tasty freshly baked bread.

Amazing espresso drinks! Made just right, you can taste the yummy espresso and whatever flavor you select - not overly sweet like the big chain coffee shops. Food is also amazing. Service fantastic! Only problem is there is no Ruby Coffee Roasters in the Twin Cities. We should fix that!

Grabbed coffee with my sister and wife before some hikes. Definitely has the caffeine to power you through any activity!! Service was super fast and had my drink pert near before I could finish saying the order. Lovely little cafe with lots of seating and outdoor space! Now...for the cappuccino review as all my fans know I give the most in depth review that will surely knock your socks off. Cappuccino: 3.5/5 Honestly, it was objectively a good cappuccino. I just didn't really care for it. Maybe it was just my taste buds for the day or maybe the beans were a bit off/old. I'd give it another try! But for that day, it wasn't the best one I've ever had. The drinks my sister and wife had were absolutely baller. This place is worthy of a 4 star review and could be a 5 if I try the cappuccino again!

I met my friend here for breakfast and coffee. Nice selection of items with some specials mixed in. I had the breakfast BLT and one of the special coffees. Service was quick and it was good. I'd come back!

Great breakfast/brunch: French toast, savory crepe, honey oat latte, maple oat latte

Love the vibe here! Ruby Coffee Roasters has a wide selection of beverages and food, which makes this place excellent for all occasions! I came here for brunch and had a difficult time choosing what to eat because everything sounded soooo good. We went with a savory crepe and French toast to have a little sweet and a little savory. Loved them both! The sausage and potato in the crepe were tasty and the French toast was not overly sweet. Great service and location is perfect. I will make this spot my go-to place now for coffee and yummy food!

Formerly the Water street Grill- this lovely space has been transformed into a cozy coffee and food heaven! The staff is knowledgeable and skilled in their craft. Drinks are brewed, steeped and created with care and the results are well balanced. The food is fresh and flavorful! The vegetarian friendly fair is worth a stop all on its own! Lots of seating, places to study, catch up with a friend. If I was based in Point- this would be my go-to!

I predict it is something that will eventually be viewed as a timeless treasure of the community, and it should be celebrated, cherished, and most importantly utilized. You are instantly greeted by a friendly face behind the counter the moment you walk in the door. Sometimes, that person is the owner of the Edgar Grind, an entrepreneurial mother of a local family who decided that Edgar deserved something nice. And boy did she deliver! The coffee is outstanding (I recommend the lavender latte personally). The food - let's just say they are constantly trying new ways to entice you into having a snack. One scroll through their Facebook posts and you'll instantly be hungry. Once you get your food and your drinks, you have plenty of places and environments to sit in. Tying back to the beginning of this review, the shop is decorated with many historical photos and captions of what has made Edgar great in the past. It is truly fitting, as the Edgar Grind is doing great things today and will undoubtedly join them in the pantheon of what has made Edgar such a special place to live, play, and drink coffee.

The cozy and home town vibe makes it the perfect spot to relax, get work done, or catch up with a friend. Our Specialty Lattes are inspired by our barista's favorite drinks as well as some local legends. The Sweet Sinz is a delicious local honey and cinnamon latte named after our very own football Coach Sinz who has lead the team state for years. We also have the Sammy Special and Eternal Lattes which are named after our loved ones who are no longer earthside with us. Food-wise, we also have our eggers (Sounds kind of like Edgar, right) these are amazing breakfast sandwiches that are ready for you to customize. We love every single customer who walks in the door and hope to see you soon! Much love, The Edgar Grind.
