I have been here twice while in town and I get their chai tea. It was hot but not so hot you couldn't drink it. It was creamy and I ordered mine with soy milk. Currently there is no Starbucks in town but I see they are building one right down the road. I mentioned this only because I am partial to the Starbucks Chai Tea which I also purchase at Costco for home use. But Cravings comes as closets you can get so I really appreciate the flavor of their chai tea. They also have fast and friendly drive through service. Next day my husband did a coffee/tea run and picked up some bakery items. We stay at the Mead Hotel every 3 months for quarterly meetings so this place has been one of our staple places to run to as it is only about 1 mile away on the main drag. One good thing about being able to review the same place multiple times is you get to sample more of their product for a wider range of reviews. This morning my chai teas was not as creamy as yesterday but it was still tasty. My husband likes strong coffee black. He had their dark roast and said it was ok. He said in all honesty the free hotel Coffee was better. I'm not a coffee drinker but I know my husband is fussy. We picked up two scones -chocolate chip and blueberry and they were served warm. The scones were fresh and not dry as some scones can be. They were tasty with a hint of sweetness. We also picked up two giant cookies - one chocolate chip and one white chocolate macadamia nut. The chocolate chip was chewy soft but the macadamia nut was very hard which suggests to me it may have been sitting around for a while. Both cookies were ok, nothing that would wow me. Cute place, good selection and pricing. My main complaint is that each time I have went in or used the drive through, something is always wrong with my order.. I frequent on Sundays when its a little bit 'slower', but somehow my order always ends up wrong! (I order off the menu with no special 'twists', so these are standard drinks Im talking about here!) I've lived in Rapids for 2.5 years and have never gone inside the shop to order, but I go through the drive-thru at least once a week and have fantastic service every time. Even when they're so busy the line of cars is out to the street, the baristas are pleasant and friendly. The coffee and chai are always delicious, and Cravings keeps the coffee menu interesting with a constant rotation of seasonal and holiday flavors. This is my favorite drive-thru coffee spot in Rapids, hands down. read more

I'm going to start by saying the place is cute and welcoming. Staff is fast and friendly. I ordered skim latte no flavor. I don't love it. Actually I'm not sure l finish it. Im very disappointed with this coffee shop. Brought two packages of one lb. Flavored coffee. First bag , was very good , nice flavor. The second bag not so good. The coffee was not ground, whole bean. No information on package stating the contents was a whole bean coffee. Called and talked to the Manager. I was told that they do not have a coffee grinder, so they could not do that for me. Also they could not exchange the bag for one that was ground. The Manager was rather snippeity with me. Asked if the bag was opened. Well yes , that's how i found out that it was a whole bean coffee. Ill not go there anymore. read more

Chai tea latte is very good. I haven't eaten any food there but the drinks are always good.

The coffee is terrible. I mean, truly wretched. It is old and stale, preground, over-roasted, cheap coffee. The staff is incompetent when it comes to preparing coffee. Their shots are some of the worst pulled espresso I have ever seen, they don't purge the grouphead or clean the portafilter or espresso hopper, so you know you're getting lots of old, rancid coffee oils. For iced drinks or frappes, they don't use fresh shots, but instead use old, expired, stale shots they store in the fridge. The same goes for iced coffee - it's just cooled down coffee that sat around all day that they couldn't sell. They use too much syrup, so their drinks are way too sweet. And they don't know how to steam milk properly, so it is foamy and scalded. read more

The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. When there is a wait at the drive thru they will walk outside to take your order. The coffee is excellent and I look forward to getting it whenever I am in the area. I had to work nights for awhile and I lived on their coffee! read more

While the drinks are acceptable yet overpriced, I find the atmosphere more like an impersonal waiting room than a welcoming area to enjoy company. The staff seemed impersonal and distracted as well, as if my presence was a bother despite the shop being almost completely empty at the time. This is a pity as it is closer than other coffee shops, but I will walk down all the way across the river to another shop if it means my business is appreciated. read more

I have always enjoyed this local coffee shop until today. For Valentine's Day (one-week today to date) my husband purchased a Corkcicle Cup as a gift. A few days ago, I noticed a spot on the top rim. At first, I thought it was from not hand-washing it well enough but it kept coming back - it is rust. I took the cup back into the store today and the lady at the counter was very confused on how to handle the situation, kept telling me that Corkcicle is not going to refund her - she asked me "what am I going to do with the cup", I replied "I don't know". She directed me to the Corkcicle website for warranty's assuring me they would handle it (great assurance since she was unsure that they would help her). I think that the store should have replaced this $30+ cup that is just a week old, clearly defective and taken it up with the company. Very disappointed - I left feeling like I did something wrong.. I won't by anymore merchandise at the shop ever again. :( Now onto Corkcicle. read more

I've been to this quaint coffee shop twice. Both times the customer service was lacking. They do not have gluten free options which is fine. However, when asked about if there is gluten in things or if they have gluten free options the staff are rude about it. The rudeness & lack of offering to even check if there is gluten in an item is the issue. read more

Yay! Soymilk is back on the menu at this gem of a coffee shop! Now it's the best place for coffee, espresso drinks, smoothies and more in a 25 mile radius. WOW! All I can say is WOW! Went to Cravings after coming to the realization Wis Rapids doesn't have a Starbucks. The next best thing, which turned out to be 10 times better than Starbucks, was Cravings! Such a cute, modern themed coffee shop with EXCELLENT coffee drinks. Try the Snickerdoodle, my all time favorite!! The staff is so kind and personalizes each order which I love. On a first name basis with all of them, and they always ask about my day which never fails to bring a smile to my face. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for BY FAR the BEST coffee drinks in Central Wisconsin. read more
