I have stayed there at least four times over the last year and have generally been pleased. On the line, the rooms I have stayed in have been spacious. I like having the sink outside the bedroom. I appreciate a luggage rack, bathroom, and slippers in every room. It is excellent that they have a Roku set up with the televisions so that you can broadcast from your phone or computer. The morning breakfast has been excellent. Great selection, and attentive service. It's not perfect - I think that they need to continue updating the rooms and management should check in on the rooms once in a while. I will stay there again however! .

I would not use the portable a/c as the filter is very dirty. There is also a ton of chipping paint. The bathroom exhaust fan doesn't work, even after the manager said maintenance would check it out. After addressing all these concerns the manager (a man, maybe Josh Patel) did offer a discount but since it was booked through hotels.com he said he had to submit them to refund partially, but said no other rooms available. However on the app there are multiple double Queen rooms available, which would at least be cleaner and in better order, so I feel I was lied to. I also feel like the rooms are not cleaned well. I do have pictures of all the noted concerns. Breakfast was average, but nice that it was free. The girl at checkout was kind but my credit card was charged for an amenities fee, despite not being informed of this. After getting home and 2 days after partial refund promised, hotels.com still did not receive a request and neither they or I can reach a manager and they don't know when he'll be in. Overall I highly recommend you do NOT stay here and you look at another option, due to not receiving room reserved, uncleanliness, and management that doesn't value their customers and concerns.

He said in all honesty the free hotel Coffee was better. I'm not a coffee drinker but I know my husband is fussy. We picked up two scones -chocolate chip and blueberry and they were served warm. The scones were fresh and not dry as some scones can be. They were tasty with a hint of sweetness. We also picked up two giant cookies - one chocolate chip and one white chocolate macadamia nut. The chocolate chip was chewy soft but the macadamia nut was very hard which suggests to me it may have been sitting around for a while. Both cookies were ok, nothing that would wow me. Then. immediately three steps, then another door with a stronger door closer. Finally into the restaurant, immediately find the long bar. On the bar, right inside the entrance, sat a THREE wick candle with about a half inch of melted wax already present. Obviously, it had been burning for hours to have that much melted wax. The smell was OVERWHELMING! Then, down the bar sat a single wick candle with an equal amount of liquid wax. The smell was overpowering, almost like another odor was trying to be covered up? We got back to the dining room and yet another candle was burning. There were also many ambiance candles (BATTERY) shining through the area. My wife and I were overcome with the odor. We have driven past this place for over 15 years but since the buildings rear faces the road, it always looked closed. Our anniversary was coming up so decided to try it. We arrived at opening and we're greated to the overpowering odor. We left! Never got to try the food that so many rave about.
