Whether you're taking coffee to go or staying for a while, it's a great experience. The baristas are friendly and helpful and the coffee is hot, fresh, and flavorful. I really enjoyed a recent visit when I was able to sit and have coffee and a muffin (blueberry, cranberry - yum!) in a mug. There's nothing like coffee in a 'real' cup! It was a quiet morning and I just did some people watching. Ask the barista for a password for free wifi. You'll enjoy your visit to this sweet place right in downtown Stevens Point.

There's about 10 tables and you order at the counter. There is a pretty good sized coffee, sweets, breakfast and lunch menu. We were drenched and decided that some hot coffee on the way out of town would be just the thing. Aquamos Coffee Collaborative to the rescue! It's in downtown Waupaca, so the parking is basically street or street angled parking. My husband was able to find a spot to sit with the car and camper while I ran in and got our coffee. Since it was lunch time and I noticed what sounded like a pretty stellar breakfast sandwich on their menu, I ordered us a couple of those as well. For our coffee we got the caramel roll latte (caramel-y, ever so slightly cinnamon-y deliciousness). They also have alternative milks, if you so desire. The breakfast sandwich was a sesame bagel with chipotle mayo, egg, bacon, and sharp cheddar--it was super flavorful and absolutely delicious. Oh...and I believe they're dog friendly. We were warmed up by the hot coffee and kickin' eats in no time. Thanks Aquamos! Get to it!

I was downtown for Notes at Night and feeling snackish. Sometimes I get Doritos from Joe's Bar, but the heat was really wearing me down and I needed something sweet. The donut poster at Golden Curry I had walked past so many times finally lured me in. I ordered 2 caramel donuts & 1 blueberry donut to share with my husband. We enjoyed the blueberry donut same as we would a Dunker-- but we LOVED the caramel ones! The dough is sooo thick and fluffy and the caramel icing is sooo sweet. Sometimes a donut can feel dry or not sweet enough, but these are truly delectable. I try to get one (or two!) every week. Since discovering the donuts, we've also tried the entrees at Golden Curry. The egg rolls are nice and crisp, not like the frozen ones from the grocery store. The chu chee shrimp is a real delight. The curry sauce is bursting with complexity and bold spices, and the vegetables are really soaked with the sauce. The portion sizes are definitely big enough to split with both people leaving feeling full. I also find the staff at Golden Curry to be friendly and attentive, treating each guest with urgency and courtesy, even on tiny orders like my little donuts :) I will definitely keep going back!

Staff weren't overly welcoming or chatty--no carried conversation or small talk--but they were polite and friendly enough. If you're looking for warm, high-energy service, this might not be the spot, but if you're okay with a more reserved vibe, it works. There was a bit of a wait for our drinks, which felt a little long considering we were the only customers being helped at the time. That said, the quality of the drinks made up for it. I had the lavender lemonade--super refreshing and light. My partner tried the orange cream chai and really enjoyed the flavor balance. Both drinks were thoughtfully made and tasty. That said, if I were in the area again, there's another local coffee shop I'd likely choose first--it had a more welcoming atmosphere and a similar drink quality. Still, this spot was a pleasant stop with creative options and might be just right for someone seeking a quieter, more laid-back experience.
