I thought all of the food looked good and the portions were big, but the service was not up to par. The table was missing lots of misc items that needed to be asked for. It took quite a while to get an order in. The food didn't take incredibly long to come out but again, service lacking. I didn't get my biscuit and gravy and eventually forgot about it while making sure my little ones got everything they had asked for. Food was just ok. I could see the look of regret on some faces at the table. Splitting the check up seemed too difficult so my poor mother asked that they just put it all on one and forget it. No refills came out had to ask for a last second refill on my coffee and slug it on the way out. Overall it was just ok and I probably wouldn't come back by choice.

I got the mother earth smoothie which had mango, banana, blueberry, ginger, spinach, yogurt, and honey. This was super tasty and refreshing, with a little earthiness from the spinach. It had a great kick of ginger, so I assume that they use fresh ginger instead of powder. We also got the takes 2 to mango which was raspberry, mango, banana, yogurt, and honey. This smoothie was a lot more tart and tangy than mother earth, but tastes very fresh. Definitely want to come back for some more smoothies!

The staff were as friendly as they can be and made us feel like regulars, regardless of it being our first time in. We visited for a late breakfast with multiple kids (4 years and younger). The staff kept all the adults caffeinated and went above and beyond to make sure the kids had a great experience! (Ie, making sure they had drinks, plenty of napkins, and ever some cookies after they ate) The food was all very good! The table got a verity of options and all plates were left empty. You can really tell that this dinner puts in effort with their food. They even offered numerous HOMEMADE baked goods like breads, pies, cakes and cookies that's to their on-site baker. I will be returning to cozy kitchen in the future whenever I am in town visiting family. I highly recommend you visit if you're looking for someplace cozy to eat.

The dining experience itself was unique and welcoming. The servers greeted us at the bar and escorted us to our table once it was prepared and the salads were already set out for us. The smoked salmon appetizer was a bit disappointing, as it was essentially a piece of smoked salmon served over lettuce with capers and crackers. My steak had quite a bit of gristle, although the flavor itself was very good. The standout dish of the night was definitely the pork ribs....you can absolutely tell why they are known for them because they were delicious! I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Lisa, who was so personable and welcoming. She shared a bit about her shop and even told me how she learned to make gelato from someone straight from Italy (definitely ask her about it--it's such a fun story!). Speaking of gelato--my $6 portion was huge. I'm so used to city prices and smaller servings, but here you really get your money's worth. They also run great specials; in August, for example, it was two beers for $4--unreal. If we'd been hungrier, I would've loved to try one of their handmade sandwiches too. On top of that, I had one of the best cold brews I've ever tasted--it got me "juiced," as we say. Between the warm atmosphere, generous portions, and Lisa's genuine hospitality, this is a gem of a spot. If I'm ever back in the area, Comma Café will definitely be a planned stop.
