This is my go-to spot for breakfast, I've been coming here for at least 20 years! This is a mom and pop place, it feels very authentic and "home-y." The service is great and the food is ALWAYS consistent. My favs are the breakfast croissant and the breakfast sandwich. My picky-eater is the breakfast burrito which says a lot! Parking is conveniently located onsite and it's right by the freeway.

Gold mine. First time here but not the last. The food was so tasty, service was above & beyond. Bathroom was clean. This is a family owned restaurant over 25 years. Can't wait to come back.

Homemade type meals - I came here for breakfast but would be willing to return to try other food items. Plenty of seating both inside and out, and a bathroom you can ask to use but it's not public. Coffee was solid, comes black and you can add sugar/cream on the side. No weird taste, just a good hot coffee. Huevos chorizo - Good amount of food for breakfast, I probably finished half of it. Comes with option of tortilla or toast on the side. Not overly salty which I can appreciate. Plantains - softer that I would've liked but fine. I do love a good plantain. Location is cute with themed decor and plenty of sunlight that gets into the covered part of the cafe. You can also choose to eat outside in the courtyard, and there are a couple tables right next to the street too. They're definitely equipped for larger crowds, but when I visited on a Sat morning it was calm enough. Cute spot pretty close to the E Line which is convenient.

Cute family restaurant tucked away behind other businesses. A bit hard to find but truly a gem. Super easy parking (huge lot). It's been here for over 20yrs and I just love that it's family run and food is for sure made with love like someone's mom cooked for you. Food is quick and delicious, service is so friendly and sincere, and prices are so affordable. Weekend breakfast is still available after 11am. Love the huge covered patio space, my dog loves roaming around there. We love supporting this family business!

Another wonderful breakfast burrito to add to our weekend rotation! We ate here a long time ago and remembered liking it but since we were on sampling mission it has been awhile. I want very much to try their other items on the menu they have quite the array of options. This food just tastes homemade, so delicious. I might ask for another salsa option next time not sure if they have it. Large burrito and great prices. Looking forward to their other eats too!

Best place to eat in west la area! Friendly staff with a home cooked meal. Everything is fresh and delicious. They have a yummy breakfast available and then a rotating lunch menu, everything is fantastic. Parking lot available and right off the 10 fwy exit and entrance, very convenient. Rubios is a hidden gem!

Great place to eat! Fresh food! I can tell because it tastes home made. I ordered "Pollo con Crema, with vegetables and rice." The ladies serving were patient on waiting for me to decide what to choose. It's a very welcoming environment and they also have a cute patio area outside.

I heard about this place from my boyfriend. He works out here in LA and comes here often. However, I haven't had the chance to come out here because it is a bit far considering I was coming from riverside so I waited MONTHS to try it. He kept saying how it was so good every week so we finally came out here on a Saturday morning and it was honestly worth the traffic and long drive 10/10 would come again

It's rare to find such a genuine cafe hidden right next to a........gentleman's club. Glitz and glamour, people. I mean, it makes absolute perfect sense doesn't it? After a titty run, you want to do a nice burrito run. But it's more of a delicious, wholesome, family run type of place. The breakfast burrito is far from dirty. Fresh grilled veggies, egg, mushrooms. The huevos rancheros is also bomb. Anyway, don't be deterred by the almost run down surroundings and sketchy looking people. It's right next to the 10 on ramp and quite easy to miss. The inside is quite modest and laid back. Old family run cafe/diner type of feel with a substantial patio with some greenery.

Was craving a breakfast burrito this morning...a real one...not one from the "golden arches." I was at an early morning meeting and decided when in doubt as to what is available...YELP! This is the home of a GREAT breakfast burrito!! I had the Rubio's (minus the available veggies) and I couldn't have been happier!! The eggs were perfectly cooked as were the sauage, bacon, potatoes and onions (no beans in this one.) The salsa (side dish) was not too spicy yet certainly not bland. A nice compliment to the taste of the burrito. A glass of fresh squeezed OJ to go with...let's just say I am not eating lunch today!! Breakfast is served from 7A to 1030A on Monday through Friday. Fast, friendly service in an obviously family run place. Plenty of parking. I'll be back again!

For $13 I was hoping my huevos rancheros would taste a lot better but the beans tasted strange and the ranchero sauce wasn't very good.

We came a couple of months ago and had their loaded yucca fries with carne asada as well as some pupusas. The meat on our fries felt really low quality-- the best way I could describe it was it tasting like frozen hamburger meat-- and gave us indigestion for the rest of the night, which was really disappointing to experience. Today we unfortunately experienced some really rude service. My bf ordered a plain water and we were given a fresco ensalada (no big deal, he likes it) We don't eat pork and ordered fried yucca on its own, just yucca frita. We were given a plate of yucca con chicharron :( I told the service we just ordered yucca frita and we were told that we did not specify that for her. I explained that we don't eat pork so we sent it back and were met with a displeasing look. I said we didn't want to yucca anymore since we had a lot of food already and she said "the kitchen already made it." So I said it was fine but just the yucca this time and she came back with the same exact plate just without the chicharron-- no visible plate change. Needless to say for the price, decline in food quality, and rude service, it's not worth coming back. At least not for a while.

I just moved back to LA and tried this place for the first time yesterday. The food was genuinely…read morereally good -- flavorful, comforting, and the pupusas immediately stood out. I enjoyed it so much that I came back again today after work specifically because I was craving them. The food once again did not disappoint. The servers I interacted with were kind and pleasant. However, today's experience left a sour note. When I walked in, I was the only customer in the restaurant. Every table was empty. I asked if I could sit at the corner table with the couch, and the man I spoke to made a face and told me it was only for groups. To be clear -- there were no other customers. Zero. So the response felt unnecessary and dismissive. After asking the servers, I found out that the man I spoke to is actually the owner. That made it more disappointing. Owners set the tone for their establishment, and hospitality should start at the top. There's no reason for a paying customer to feel brushed off -- especially when the restaurant is empty. Good food can bring people in, but good service is what makes them come back. I'll likely return because the pupusas are honestly that good, but I do hope there's more awareness about how guests are treated. Without customers choosing to spend their money there, no business survives -- no matter how great the food is.

We started with the ensalada, which was refreshing and had just the right amount of sweetness. For pupusas, we ordered the revueltas, loroco con queso, and frijol con queso. We tried both corn and rice dough, and honestly, both were delicious. My personal favorite was the frijol con queso with the rice dough- so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The yuca frita was exactly how it should be: crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. The chicharrón was cooked perfectly as well, and the homemade green salsa that the sweet lady helping us made was the perfect addition. She was so kind, welcoming, and always had a friendly smile, which made the experience even better. Another thing that really stood out was how clean the restaurant is. It's spacious, with plenty of seating whether you're coming with a large group, your family, or just stopping by for a meal on your own. We absolutely loved this place and will definitely be back. Next time we're bringing my Salvadoran in-laws- I have a feeling this place will get their authenticity approval too! Spanish!
