I've been dealing with AC issues, and the same mopey incompetent tech, for over a month now…read more My Landscapers, scheduled to come the first Tuesday of every month, show up seemingly whenever they feel like it. I once had a house cleaner show up, hoping for a nice, once a year, thorough cleaning. She cleaned with one hand, while talking on her phone with the other. Why am I telling you this? Maybe just to illustrate that the old axiom "It's tough to find good help these days," is alive and well on the Space Coast. Or maybe I just want to draw a contrast between crappy service and the incredible 5-star service I've been getting from Space Coast Pools. I think this guy deserves at least 3 stars just for showing up when he says he will and for being communicative beyond what I expected. He earned the other 2 after the fact. I first called Space Coast Pools, and several other Pool Maintenance companies, all of whom I had to leave messages for. (Understood in that I called during the day, when I'm sure they were busy working.) Brandon called me back within an hour. Only one other company even called me back at all and that was several days later. When I ended my call with Space Coast Pools, Brandon thanked me for "the opportunity to 'earn' his business." I think my heart skipped a beat. On our initial meeting my pool looked like a FROG SWAMP. It would not have surprised to see an alligator. Brandon didn't hesitate. He added some things to my pool (without any kind of agreement or contract), gave me a good quote for service and promised to be back Tuesday (it was Saturday) to inspect his work and continue service. Again he thanked me for "the opportunity to 'earn' his business." The very next day our pool was gorgeous. Since then, the pool has never been less than crystal clear and inviting. Plus Brandon remains punctual, polite, and communicative beyond expectation. The only reason I would ever stop using Space Coast Pools is if I die or move to a house without a pool. Even then I might call them!

We engaged them to replace the pump and convert us to a salt system. They did that last week. The water level was low and the pool was green when they installed. As it was during the evaluation. They completed the work, Jim showed me how to turn it on once I had the pool level up and left. He sent instructions on how to shock the pool. No instruction on what now is a salt system or for me to have salt available day of install to get it going. $5000 2.5 hours of labor,a pump, and a salt cell. I misunderstood that they would see the job to completion. When I called today for some instruction he replied we replaced the pump that was completion. That's another service if you want we can add. One of my emails went to junk was the explanation for not replying to that single email although the rest went through fine. The voicemail my husband left yesterday had not 'come through yet' 24 hours later. All of which I feel like could have been handled with just a little communication. We called for their expertise because we needed expertise! We were not advised how to support their repair with wafter levels or salt or other chemicals or we most certainly would have. Very disappointed.
