I once had a house cleaner show up, hoping for a nice, once a year, thorough cleaning. She cleaned with one hand, while talking on her phone with the other. Why am I telling you this? Maybe just to illustrate that the old axiom "It's tough to find good help these days," is alive and well on the Space Coast. Or maybe I just want to draw a contrast between crappy service and the incredible 5-star service I've been getting from Space Coast Pools. I think this guy deserves at least 3 stars just for showing up when he says he will and for being communicative beyond what I expected. He earned the other 2 after the fact. I first called Space Coast Pools, and several other Pool Maintenance companies, all of whom I had to leave messages for. (Understood in that I called during the day, when I'm sure they were busy working.) Brandon called me back within an hour. Only one other company even called me back at all and that was several days later. When I ended my call with Space Coast Pools, Brandon thanked me for "the opportunity to 'earn' his business." I think my heart skipped a beat. On our initial meeting my pool looked like a FROG SWAMP. It would not have surprised to see an alligator. Brandon didn't hesitate. He added some things to my pool (without any kind of agreement or contract), gave me a good quote for service and promised to be back Tuesday (it was Saturday) to inspect his work and continue service. Again he thanked me for "the opportunity to 'earn' his business." The very next day our pool was gorgeous. Since then, the pool has never been less than crystal clear and inviting. Plus Brandon remains punctual, polite, and communicative beyond expectation. The only reason I would ever stop using Space Coast Pools is if I die or move to a house without a pool. Even then I might call them!

Over the three years, and multiple service techs, responsiveness and consistency eroded to poor performance. Personnel turnover is an issue. Consumers should beware. Techs seem to last about 2-3 months, then a new person will show up - on any given day (I've had a tech - someone I'd never met before - show up on a Sunday when my regular service day was Friday). I had a leak in my pump return line and it took two weeks to get a response, then when communicated they would be there the next day, nobody showed up. I went from being a priority to being a nuisance - there are a lot more companies out there who want your business, similarly priced, and won't treat you like a nuisance. Go elsewhere.

If I could choose no stars, I would. From the very beginning Sutton Pools service team has been argumentative, dismissive, and non reliable. We began with purchasing a heater/chiller that was meant to use remotely for our guests who stay at our beach home. The tech Eric, was very dismissive, who would rather text than pick up the phone and have a conversation. Janice Sutton, who generally responds to email requests and always with a short argumentative reply couldn't be less helpful. Our pool company who services the account noticed the motor recently purchased and installed less than a year ago by Sutton Pools was making a loud noise, so he sent video which I forwarded to Sutton Pools. The motor is under warranty but Sutton refuses to honor that warranty claiming the pool company was to blame for not notifying them sooner. Furthermore, the heater/chiller we installed less than 6 months ago is also leaking. Now Sutton Pools recommendation is for us to pay for a new motor and find a new company to handle the service requests. We would NEVER recommend Sutton to anyone.

Sea Turtle pool contractors recommended Little Dipper and I could not be happier with Denise and her husband. A double-team that does double a great job. After the pool was filled back up, they spent a whopping amount of time implementing the correct chemical proportion formula, cleaning the pool, AND the filter, which I was told by the previous guy it needed to be replaced (lazy worker/boss at Archetype Aquatics). They even noticed and used their own money to replace the O-ring on my system so that the solar-heated pool would have a properly flowing system. Also, they labeled all my levers so that in the future, I would know which lever covered what function. The extra work they have put in outside of their normally expected services was welcomed immensely. I would recommend them to anyone in my Capron Ridge Neighborhood (Viera) or time anyone else within their traveling radius!

There was a week and I was there on the day and the guy never showed but sent me a pic saying how pretty they made my pool that day?? No single contact person to interact with. They say its family owned, but the family does not care at all. They dont care about feedback whatsoever. The last straw was they suddenly decided to stop service at my pool and did NOT bother to tell me. No email no call nothing. I dont live there year around so I did not know. The water went black in a couple of weeks and I had to pay 2k to get a new pump and filter which was broken. I talked to one of the owners who was possibly the most NASTY person ever and he could not care less. DO NOT Repeat DO NOT ever get this company !!! Anyone else has to be better !!!
