I once had a house cleaner show up, hoping for a nice, once a year, thorough cleaning. She cleaned with one hand, while talking on her phone with the other. Why am I telling you this? Maybe just to illustrate that the old axiom "It's tough to find good help these days," is alive and well on the Space Coast. Or maybe I just want to draw a contrast between crappy service and the incredible 5-star service I've been getting from Space Coast Pools. I think this guy deserves at least 3 stars just for showing up when he says he will and for being communicative beyond what I expected. He earned the other 2 after the fact. I first called Space Coast Pools, and several other Pool Maintenance companies, all of whom I had to leave messages for. (Understood in that I called during the day, when I'm sure they were busy working.) Brandon called me back within an hour. Only one other company even called me back at all and that was several days later. When I ended my call with Space Coast Pools, Brandon thanked me for "the opportunity to 'earn' his business." I think my heart skipped a beat. On our initial meeting my pool looked like a FROG SWAMP. It would not have surprised to see an alligator. Brandon didn't hesitate. He added some things to my pool (without any kind of agreement or contract), gave me a good quote for service and promised to be back Tuesday (it was Saturday) to inspect his work and continue service. Again he thanked me for "the opportunity to 'earn' his business." The very next day our pool was gorgeous. Since then, the pool has never been less than crystal clear and inviting. Plus Brandon remains punctual, polite, and communicative beyond expectation. The only reason I would ever stop using Space Coast Pools is if I die or move to a house without a pool. Even then I might call them!

After sending pictures he said it was too old (22 years(!)) and he had never gotten a universal heater to work in such an old hot tub. I was going to dismantle it but tried the breaker one more time and it started back up. Miracle! I just wanted to comment how helpful Chris was and generous with his time (we texted back and forth for probably 45 minutes). I am very pleased with that part of the job. HOWEVER, in patching the work area holes, the bag said the mortar was tan. My deck is concrete grey. I pointed that out to the worker. He looked me in the eye and said that when it dried it will perfectly match. I have painted a house before that the paint color did not look right while applying it, but turned the right color after it dried so, I accepted his assurance. However, It remains TAN, When I called them back to share that the color is still tan, the worker told me to redo it would mean that it would not be as level or look as good as it is now so, to not have a trip hazard on the pool deck, I left it as is, a TAN patch.

Zach was hired to clean our pool for 3 months and was paid in advance. He was to come every week…read moreonce a week while we were out of town. He came once on 4/26 and stood around while his mother cleaned. Its all on camera. On 4/28 he came back to our house, called said that the pump was broken and needed repair. He would get it done. He called back and said the pump was fixed and wanted a total of $475 for the work. He was paid and he assured us that the pump was working by calling and saying listen to the pump. Again on camera. 20 days later we saw that the pool was turning a dark shade of green and we realized he had not been back to the pool to clean. When contacted he admitted he had not been there because his identity was stolen. Since he apparently wasn't going to clean telling us that he could get it fixed before 'we got home", we contracted with someone else to do the cleaning. When that person came to do the estimate, he said that the pool pump was not even installed. Zach wrote on the box that he had done the work as well. When contacted he made more excuses and after we threatened to call the cops for theft he showed up and put the pump back. He said it wouldn't work because of electrical issues. When we had the pump replaced, the one Zach said he fixed had not had any new parts as stated. IN OTHER WORDS HE LIED STOLE AND CONNED. Now he claims he checked it at home and it worked but hard to say that when a reputable local dealer said nothing had been done. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY. AND THE REVIEWS HE HAS POSTED ARE FROM HIM AND HIS FAMILY...NOW THAT I LOOK AT IT.

Attentive at first, service starts to go downhill over time. I used this service for three years…read moreand in the beginning, they were good - attentive, consistent, reliable. Over the three years, and multiple service techs, responsiveness and consistency eroded to poor performance. Personnel turnover is an issue. Consumers should beware. Techs seem to last about 2-3 months, then a new person will show up - on any given day (I've had a tech - someone I'd never met before - show up on a Sunday when my regular service day was Friday). I had a leak in my pump return line and it took two weeks to get a response, then when communicated they would be there the next day, nobody showed up. I went from being a priority to being a nuisance - there are a lot more companies out there who want your business, similarly priced, and won't treat you like a nuisance. Go elsewhere.

My husband just had major back surgery so was not able to do this repair himself so we called Michael. He first came out in Feb and charged $200 for a service call said he had to get some special silicone for a spa. repair; he came back charged us another 170 put the silicone on and left. It did not work we contacted him again. He said he had to order a new part, first said they sent the wrong part then April 14, said the right part came in he would be here tomorrow. He still has not been back. He has never called or came back, it is May 11th, so for $370 got nothing. Bad bad business unless you want to pay for something and get nothing I do not recommend this person/business. Do yourself a favor call someone else.
