Service? It's obvious the owner/manager expects top notch customer service. From the moment we entered till the time we left, we were treated with high quality service. The ambiance is that if a five star establishment one goes to when celebrating a special occasion. It's exclusively an indoor dining establishment. That said, expect to pay a pretty penny for your meal and drinks. As for the food, it's not worth the price you pay, in both portion size AND taste. We gave RU couple of tries. The staff is genuinely welcoming, and the ambiance is interesting with a playful, modern flair. The fresh bread is a nice touch. During our first brunch visit, the waitstaff's enthusiastic recommendations felt a bit overwhelming--almost to the point of pressure--but we chalked it up to eagerness to help new guests get acquainted with the menu. The space has a club-like vibe, likely aiming for something virtual and modern, but compared to places we've experienced globally, it didn't quite hit the mark. We started with a dish we believed was our appetizer, but it turned out to be something else entirely--our actual order followed and ended up being almost a duplicate but with much less flavor. That made the meal feel heavier than expected. My husband found his plate fairly average, but we understand that new places often need time to refine their offerings. When the bill came, we noticed we were charged for the original appetizer. No fuss--we paid for what we ate and had the rest boxed up. Unfortunately, the green chilaquiles didn't reheat well and lacked flavor the second time around, as well. I dislike throwing food away, but it wasn't worth a sour stomach and ruining the rest of the day. So, I opted to throw it out. Because the restaurant came recommended a couple of weeks later by a friend, we gave it another try. Again, the staff greeted us warmly, though they forgot to bring out the complimentary bread. My husband politely reminded the manager, who graciously handled it himself. This time we brought my daughter. She ordered the stuffed chilaquiles, we had been served previously as an appetizer. The plate this time was overly drenched in a bland sauce. I requested salt to balance it out, and my daughter eventually gave up, scraping off most of the excess and leaving the rest. She was disappointed and left with an upset stomach. My husband mistakenly ordered the regular chilaquiles--made with an enchilada-style sauce instead of a fresh salsa--which was unfortunately a miss again. I had tried to warn him, but the loud club-style music made conversation difficult. I had ordered the same dish on my first visit and left most of it untouched for the same reason: the overwhelming amount of sauce that turned everything mushy. In the end, we paid for a meal that none of us finished -- not once but twice. While we appreciate the staff's energy and hospitality, the food's execution just didn't meet our expectations. Came here for a business dinner and had a great experience. The place was hopping on a Wednesday night with a DJ in the booth but that didn't stop the staff as they were very friendly, quick, and attentive. Must check out the video walls to the bathrooms and don't pass on the Lobster Mac! Overall, a fun night - check them out! read more

Service was 3.5 out of 5, very friendly but took a while to get the check. The mixologist was nice and it was a new experience for a cotton candy mimosa. Second time here , same experience both times. I'll first say the place is beautiful, the drinks are amazing, and the staff is on point. Unfortunately the food fell very short both visits. The steaks for everyone had way to much tough gristle and the flavor was like liver. Very disappointed. The lobster mac was also very gritty. The asparagus also had a slight chemical taste. My guest and myself were very disappointed - non of us completed the meals. I will probably go back for a cocktail but I'm afraid that will be all. I would suggest focusing some of the same attention to detail on the food as the rest of the place. read more

buckle up and get ready for my rant because it will be a LONG one!! for context, i attended for my cousins birthday. starting off, they asked for her name and spelling to project it on the big screen.....never once did it show up. when it came to ordering, i was given an "incorrect menu", where i was charged 10 extra dollars for a meal because the "menu price was wrong"??. additionally to that, i found 2 sushi rolls with the same desrciption. after asking the waitress for clarification, she decided to say "stop getting mad and let me explain it to you"....sorry??? not my fault ur menu is wrong?? plus i wasnt rude at all trust me, i just wanted to know about the rolls. i proceeded to order the lobster tacos, which were ADVERTISED on instagram as deep fried lobster, a big portion, tauced in sauce (i have added a photo for reference. I was then served tacos with no lobster.... just cheese, and nothing like advertised (but i was still charged $35 even if the menu said $25?). i felt scammed. My friends there even passed around a piece of chicken, saying "it tastes like tyson microwave chicken"!! so bad they even had to ask for salt. when paying such high amounts, i dont think i should have to ask for basic seasoning. overall, i feel like my money was stolen lol. im extremely dissapointed in what fake advertisement was i served and the terrible customer service we experienced. never coming back, sorry!! read more

Went to RU to celebrate one of my best friend's birthday. First thing when walking in, the hostesses in the front are the firsts to take you out of that fancy fine dining experience since they have poor self presentation, and some waiter/waitresses aren't dressed accordingly in my opinion for a restaurant marketing themselves as a fine dining or luxury dining experience. We were then seated and our waitress started pouring bottles of Fiji water into our cups, everything was good service wise until that point, however, as the night went on the waitress lacked attention to our table and she ROLLED her eyes at the birthday girl several times when asked for more water or anything else she was annoyed to serve us I guess. They took like 15 minutes after bringing me and my friend our sushi rolls to bring us chopsticks or a clean fork to start eating, we had to ask like 3 times and the restaurant was not busy enough to take them that long to bring us that. The food was okay but not good enough in my opinion for the price, we tried several appetizers and entrees but they were just okay. My sister ordered a Ribeye aguachile and on her ticket they charged her the ribeye (waitress did not specify the weight of the cut when my sister ordered) which was $54 and an additional $10 to make it aguachile like??? the dish was on the menu, it wasn't ordered a la carte for it to be charged separately, one of my other friends ordered an entree that was cheaper on her menu and on her bill they charged it $5 more, turns out they have old menus given out where prices are different and they don't care and did not respect the price she saw on the menu given to her. Also, they don't tell you but they charge you like $5 for the Fiji water they give you in the beginning and they don't ask if you want it or not so that's the first thing you get charged for before even ordering anything. When wanting to cut the cake, the waitress informed my friend she had to pay $30 dollars for cake cutting which is outrageous to me and proceeded to take forever to bring the knife and plates. I would understand if maybe they paid the dishwashers more for more plates being used but we all know that's money the restaurant pockets. Overall, the food is just not worth the price, the service was really bad not only from the waitress but also from the managers, and also the bathrooms look like club restrooms also not 'elegant' for what they market for.
