I reached out to Iconiq, and the owner, Rick, personally called me back. He immediately took the situation seriously, offered several solutions, and made sure I was taken care of. That's the kind of customer service that really stands out. Needless to say, I'm a satisfied customer. My tattoo was completed, and the issue was resolved professionally and promptly. The line work is very uneven, the beak is misshapen, the body is inconsistent, and the overall design looks nothing like it should. It honestly looks ruined. We went back to speak with the artist, Omar, as well as the owner's son, hoping they would help resolve the situation. Unfortunately, we left feeling like neither of them took our concerns seriously. We were told to come back after the tattoo heals so they could "try to fix it," but no one explained how a tattoo with this many issues could realistically be corrected. This tattoo has a lot of sentimental meaning to us, which makes this even more disappointing. We expected accountability and a genuine effort to make things right. At the very least, we feel a refund or partial refund should have been offered, as the quality of the work is clearly not acceptable. I've attached comparison photos so you can see the difference for yourself. We are truly disappointed with both the quality of the tattoo and how our concerns were handled. You need a code to enter so you can be sure that no randoms have access to the building. There's clean, private bathrooms next to a seating area/cafe type area with free Starbucks espresso, tea and snacks. I really don't think there is one thing to dislike about it.
