My daughter was simply getting two of her earrings downsized. The charge was $10 per earring, plus an additional $15 for a new backing, bringing the total to $52 with tax. As I was checking out, the receptionist informed me that there would be an extra $5 charge for using my debit card, so I would recommend bringing cash. I asked whether this fee was mentioned on their website, and she said it was not. When they downsized my daughter's hidden helix piercing, the bar was still too long. The piercer explained that the ear was swollen and that she couldn't push the earring back any farther. While I understand that swelling can affect the fit, I was hoping for a better overall experience. I truly wanted to support this business, but between the unexpected closures, undisclosed card fee, and leaving with a bar that still seems too long, the experience fell short of my expectations.

I got the replacement last week and without even wearing it one single time one earring broke already just seems fishy that the same model of earring broke within 6 days when I refused to pay an additional $15 for a second warranty. I've never had earrings break this easily ever. I will say they did offer to let me buy another warranty to replace it and extend it to another year but I don't think that it's fair. The sea salt soaks and that I have to be careful when cleaning them. He also asked me about sizes and how noticeable I wanted them. The forcepts he used came from a sterilized pouch and so did the jewelry. Once he got me set, he marked me and I laid back on the chair and from there he was very gentle and quick while doing it. He talked to me while he was doing it so I was calmer than I thought I would be. The first one hurt but the second definitely hurt more. However he also explained that when I am healing up that for later I can go back and see the jewelry he has and he will replace it for me and take care of me and charge me the price of the jewelry. He is a very great piercer and I am glad I trusted him with my nipples. He charged $55 for both nipples. I'm on day two of having these piercings and after sleeping I feel totally fine. A little discomfort after the sea salt soak, but honestly feel normal. I was expecting to feel sore but the way he pierced me was great. TLDR; Jesse is a top tier piercer, he gave me great nipple piercings and talked me through it. Great prices and gives you the whole rundown for aftercare. Nipple Piercings are $55.
