Very happy with my service! I came in close to closing time but they didn't rush me, they remained polite and asked what I wanted. I got my helix, conch and both second lobe piercings done by Will. He was great, I was a bit nervous but he was really patient with me counted down all four times for me coached me through it and he was very knowledgeable about what he was doing. Long story short (not really): I went into Artifacts Ink as a walk in on July 3rd. It was maybe an hour or so before the shop closed, and my friend wanted her ear pierced. I was told by a previous piercer that I didn't have enough webbing for the piercing to sit comfortably and heal correctly. I decided to just get a second opinion, since I was there. Mike ( I think that was his name) informed me that I had enough room and that the other piercer was probably not familiar with those piercings. I decided to push forward and get it. As soon as he pierced it, I immediately felt so much pain in my lower jaw. I had watched multiple videos on ppl getting it pierced and they all expressed it was low on the pain threshold. He had me hold the clamp (????) so he could screw the ball in. I sit up, barely able to open my mouth, and see that the jewelry is crooked . He keeps telling me that's how it's supposed to look when I open my mouth. He insists the actual piercing isn't crooked. I guess my tongue is? Lol anyway. He said he could re pierce it, but I already had a horrible feeling about his first attempt, and was worried he may have caused damage. I decided against it. I got home and the whole ordeal didn't sit right with me. I attempted to take it out myself, to no avail. Thankfully, I was able to find a piercer that evening who was willing to remove it. The pain I felt from removing it was bordering on excruciating. The second piercer told me I definitely didn't have the correct anatomy for the piercing and that Mike may have possibly grazed a nerve in my tongue. It took about 3 days for the pain to subside and I'm alright now. He may be killer at other piercings, but I wouldn't advise him for a tongue piercing. Do your research people read more

BFF and I went in to this spot to get our noses pierced on a whim and without an appointment. Both gentlemen working there were busy prepping to do work on two ladies that were sitting and waiting. Fortunately, when we told them what we were there for, one asked the ladies if they would mind if he paused for a moment to do our piercings. We were beyond happy and surprised when the ladies agreed to wait to accommodate us, and were able to get the piercings done at the last minute.
