Beyond teaching the material, he shared practical strategies to approach problems and succeed on test day. I was able to improve my SAT score from 1370 to 1540, something I couldn't have imagined before working with him. His teaching style is engaging, patient, and always tailored to your needs. If you're looking for an SAT tutor who genuinely cares about your success, Chris is the one to choose!   From mom: As a mom of six, I have used many tutors, and I cannot recommend Chris at Summit enough. When my son was paired with Chris, Chris immediately contacted me to explain his approach. We had a wonderful, unrushed conversation. Chris clearly communicated with me after each meeting. My son said that Chris not only helped him drastically improve his score from a 1370 to a 1540 but also helped him understand and appreciate math. Chris is incredibly competent but also incredibly kind. My son shared that Chris was always cheerful and avoided criticism but challenged him appropriately. My son said that he was one of the best teachers that he had had. Margaret who was our contact person at Summit was incredibly helpful and supportive. I cannot praise this company enough! My first year didn't go so great, so I started looking for help. From there, I found Signet, and they helped me through tutoring, test prep, and admissions (yea...a lot of stuff). I built up some serious study skills with them, and I eventually got into and graduated (with honors) from a top US university. What I have really loved is that they have pushed me to work hard and learn for myself, rather than just relying on them for success. When I did badly, I reviewed with my tutors to do better next time, and I developed study habits and the ability to understand my professors testing styles, so that I would continue to do better even without their help. From Signet, I have received tutoring from several tutors across all subjects over the years (math, writing, poly sci, SAT, GRE) and been deeply satisfied with their quality of tutors and instruction. I also like that they don't try to push anything on me. They're just there if I need them. In a couple of years I will likely apply to grad school, and I will definitely use these guys again to help fulfill my dreams.

I can honestly say without him, i don't know how I would of finished taking both courses. The lecturers and the TAs didn't communicate the material nearly as clearly and in a shorter time span as he did. He is clear and patient, and wants you to truly learn the material, not just get through a test or assignment. It is clear that he knows his material. Moreover he's very flexible with tutoring time and will take as much time and sessions needed until you understand the material. Being an athlete, my free is greatly limited, but he still found time to make sessions flexible to my schedule to his greatest ability. With my experience with him, if there were more teachers as clear and knowledgable as him, then class would be more clear and interesting and easier to follow. But in real-life situations, tutors such as Solomon are there to bridge the gap and help you succeed. I know I'll be using Quantum Tutoring in the future, especially as I get ready for MCATs, not to mention exams and tests.
