The owner (Elisha Cooper) performed the initial site review and submitted the bid, he visited the site during and after job completion, always making sure I was happy with the work. Additionally (and consistent with the company name) two sons - Elisha Jr. and Howard - visit the job as it was underway, presenting themselves very professionally and demonstrating the high value/personally invested hallmark behavior of a well operated family business. The large, professional, courteous and efficient crew, was effectively led by Nathaniel (aka Tiger) and worked exceptionally well as Team for two full days to deliver a high quality job; on time, on budget, as expected. We had a truly amazing experience with Chase Remodeling, Bob and Derek Chase. Our house was built…read morein 1998 and the master bath and kitchen needed updating. Bob Chase came to my house multiple times to discuss, design, and finalize the plans for both projects. He was very kind and patient with me. The master bath was basically gutted (we removed a large jacuzzi tub and a small shower) and replaced the flooring, the cabinets, mirrors, toilet, and lighting, and designed a large, doorless, walk-in shower. This project took approximately 2 weeks for them to complete once the work was started. The kitchen was completely gutted. We changed all the flooring throughout our entire main level, updated the staircase, removed the wall between our old kitchen and formal dining room, and completely redesigned the flow of the kitchen/dining area. Installed all new cabinets and countertops, lighting, etc. We ordered all high end, custom cabinets, so it did take about 7 months between signing the contracts to the work beginning. Once the work started on the kitchen, flooring, stairs, etc. it took around 3 1/2 months and they worked nearly every day. The prices we agreed upon for both projects never changed. He never asked me for additional money for anything, which is something I was worried about having heard friends complain about that when they completed home projects. The only additional expense we had was because we decided while we had them there to go ahead and paint all the walls throughout the main level and the upstairs foyer (since the kitchen was so nice and new!) the same color we'd selected for the kitchen. Bob and Derek were both awesome to work with. Always polite, always helpful, had great ideas, and were communicative. That's another complaint I hear from friends is that their contractor would come one day and work and then they wouldn't see them for two weeks with no word about what was going on. We knew throughout both projects exactly what was going on and when. Additionally, all of the workers were very nice, super respectful of our home, and the work was impeccable. Very high quality and excellent attention to detail. I'm happy to speak with anyone who has questions about Chase Remodeling and the experience we had with them. We couldn't be happier and would highly recommend them for any home improvement projects you may be considering.

I contracted with Chase Remodeling on 3/20/2024 to tile a bathroom floor and shower. I paid a…read more$3,214 deposit and work was to be started in approximately 3-5 weeks and completed in approximately 4-7 days. After attempting several times in April to get someone to contact me about when work could start, six weeks lapsed with week seven commencing on Monday 4/29/2024 and no call or written communication to plan/schedule the tile work. I had to go to Chases place of business and spoke to the owner on Friday morning 4/26/2024 to request the contract to be terminated and have a refund provided. I was told 3 businesses days or less would be needed to make a decision. I received an email on the morning of 4/30/2024 with a picture of a letter and refund check to inform me that the refund was being mailed that day. The letter stated: "We are sorry that Chase Remodeling could not be of service to you and *your family. We have cancelled your contract and returned your deposit. If you should need our services in the future, please do not hesitate to call our offices." I am disappointed in the apathetic response and received no genuine apology or consideration for not meeting the period of performance within a reasonable period of time. Absolutely a frustrating experience.

Samco was one of the few companies to respond when I sent out inquiries recently about having my…read moredriveway (which was about 50+ years old) replaced. After some email contact, Sam Jr. and I got in touch, and he came out to give an estimate. Despite the age of the driveway, he said it was in decent condition and said there were 2 options. I could resurface the driveway at a cost of about $4.50 a square foot, or we could replace the driveway at an original cost of $7.00 a square foot. We went over the pros and cons of each option, and it made more sense (given the age of the driveway) to fully replace it. When he gave me the written estimate, he had knocked a bit of the cost off, and it was down to about $6.10 a square foot. He knew I had some other contractors scheduled, and was polite about it. Later that evening, he gave me a call, and since they were going to be in the area on a job, he was able to get the price down to about $5.00 a square foot. At that point, I jumped on the deal, as that price was only a minimal amount more than the resurfacing would have cost. Sam and the team showed up on time the day of the appointment and went over things one last time. Their work was professional and quick. They take care to ensure straight edges, and that cracks (such as between the garage, porch, and sidewalk and the driveway were filled in. They also elevated the driveway a touch as the grass line was higher that the original driveway. But there is still plenty of slope for the driveway as well. We got some strong storms last night (and overnight), but the driveway was bone-dry this morning, instead of the usual puddles and lakes that would form after a storm on the old driveway. I would peek out at them as they were working, and Sam was always fully involved working on something, including getting down on his hands and knees when needed to check a spot or correct something. Their clean up was just as thorough and professional, and Sam gave me all the information needed for letting the driveway cure given the hot days we've been having. All in all, I'm highly satisfied with the job they did, and would highly recommend them for any residential paving need.
