Stop! Do not contract with this fraudulent company. They contracted with us to renovate our veranda. The first phase was demolition. They did the demolition and then it took weeks to get them to remove the hazardous debris. They finally removed the debris and we proceeded to move forward with phase 2, the acquisition of materials. After payment no materials and after many calls, no response. The GM, Chris Fischer, with whom we worked with on the scope of work and estimates, told us he no longer works for the company. We contacted MD and their license is suspended, they do not occupy space at the address given, and we are moving forward with a formal complaint and lawsuit. We hired East Coast Concrete (Maryland) to demolish a brick wall for our business and paid a $4,500 deposit on September 11, 2025. Since then, over a month has passed with no work done and nearly no communication. We were dealing with Jack, the owner, who initially responded; but after taking our deposit, he stopped answering our calls completely. We tried following up multiple times with no luck. Eventually, we had our admin office call on our behalf, and they actually picked up, gave a date to be on-site, and then, again, didn't show up. After that, they started ignoring our admin's calls too. Then on October 1, a random person called us saying someone would be at the site on October 2 or 3. When we pushed back, saying this was the third time we were promised a date, the caller admitted they had no idea about our project; they were just told to call and say someone would show up. Unsurprisingly, no one came, and since then, we've been completely ghosted again. We now have no choice but to hire a different company, which is delaying our own business operations and impacting our clients. After checking Yelp, we discovered this company has done the same thing to others, taking deposits and not following through. We feel scammed and are demanding a full refund of our $4,500 deposit. Answered all texts, questions and calls immediately, plus the slightest changes I requested just by a few inches. They beat out all prices I was given and easy payment system. Job was done in just a few hours and the team was very nice and patient. The owner is so Greta and personable, personally came to the job site and texted/ called me with updates. My measurement was done the day after I requested a consult and my job was booked AND completed within the same week- actually 2 days later. UPDATE: East Coast Concrete returned our deposit and requested that I remove my negative reviews. I informed the owner, Jack, that I would modify my review. Jack stated that he had terminated Luke, the salesperson and project manager, due to poor communication with customers. However, Luke previously told us he resigned because of what he described as questionable business practices within the company. It's a case of conflicting accounts. Jack also claimed that the materials for our project were available and offered to complete the work this week if we agreed not to deposit the returned check. I declined--at this point, that opportunity has passed. It's unfortunate that it took posting on social media just to receive a response. ------------------------------------------------------------- DO NOT USE EAST COAST CONCRETE! We signed a contract and paid a deposit of $2250 in March 2025 for stone work. It is now July 2025 and they still have not done the work. We have communicated by phone, text and email. It has been extremely frustrating trying to get in contact with anyone--especially Jack. After numerous calls and messages, Jack finally responded and scheduled an appointment to inspect the stress cracks forming in our concrete. Unfortunately, he failed to show up for the scheduled visit, and did not call to cancel or reschedule. We have now spent over a month trying to get this issue addressed, consistently leaving messages--at least once a week--without any meaningful response. When Jack finally agreed to a second appointment, he once again did not show up, offering no communication or explanation. This is not only unprofessional, it also shows a complete disregard for our time--we had to rearrange work schedules twice to ensure we were available. What makes this even more concerning is the nature of the issue. These are stress cracks in the concrete that appear to be worsening. We are trying to get ahead of the problem before it becomes more serious and potentially more costly to repair. Delays in assessing the damage could result in long-term structural impacts, and we are left with no confidence in the current level of responsiveness or accountability. At this point, we urgently need someone to take this matter seriously, follow through, and prioritize getting an inspection completed as soon as possible. read more

Very bad people to deal with, installed new driveway, did not install gravel, did not install expansion joints, short cuts to put more money in their pockets, was told they would have to redo the driveway, by State road standards , after 3 months of haggling, they showed up , chopped up my driveway and left it piled up in my yard, for 13 days and refused to remove it, had to payout more money to get it removed, very sarcastic, smart ass attitude, broken promises, and plenty of no-shows and a lot of excuses, DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM, what you see in the picture is the pile of broken up concrete in my yard they left for 13 days and refused to cleanup, I had to hire a company to remove. read more

Horrible experience. Initially wanted them to come out for a concrete quote, but mentioned I needed steel railing fabricated. They said they could do the job. So we signed a contract the same day....then radio silence from Jack (the business owner) or anyone else for weeks, despite indicating the quick turnaround needed for this project. We ended up having to call our credit card company to get a chargeback for services not rendered. Jack didn't have the courage or courtesy to call us or return our deposit. jack terrible customer service. left my yard muddy. threatened to sue me for all the money a contract i never signed and told me he's in court all the time. laborers says he didn't pay him either. left my sisters yard incomplete for 3 weeks now. apparently he's the owner who hiring lots of "laborers" so really a 1 man show. nothing moves if he's not available. over promise under deliver. do not use this company or person, lol. read more
