They were able to quickly get a quote together for me. They were competitive and offered a discount for siting their online booking. I was on vacation so they were able to work around my schedule to get the repairs done. On the morning off they arrived on time. They explained step by step what they would be doing to get my walkways raised. The whole process took about a hour and a fifteen minutes. While they were there they noticed I had and hug void under my front porch. They were kind enough to fil it for me. Before they left they gave me tips on my to prevent water intrusion in the future to help my walkway to not shift or sink. They even recommended some sealant to use for the gaps between the sidewalk and my walkway.

The previous owners had done a sketchy patch job, so the team first had to cut the rebar that was sticking out and carve out the old concrete patch. Ultimately, they were able to get the whole thing level, and seal the major cracks between the walkway and driveway, and driveway and garage. It looks 1000 times better now! They were also by far the most reasonably priced of the 4 companies that I got quotes from.

He said whatever issue I'm having required some shingles to be removed and they won't do that unless they reinstall ALL of the shingles. All of this was decided by standing on the side walk, looking about three stories up, basically not seeing the true problem. Essentially, they're more interested in replacing than repairing. Which means more money for the company. Did he climb up to said roof to see the problem? No. Did he ask to see the interior where water is actually leaking? No. While this "estimate" only lasted about 5-10 minutes, was it a waste of both of our time? Yes.

Thursday am 6/27 my phone rings. I do not recognize the number and thus do not answer as I was in the car. No one leaves a message. Later I get to wondering who it was that called, so I call the number and say "someone called me from this number and hung up....." Turns out it is Saleiro, who was calling to schedule an appointment with me...so why not leave a message?! (this should have been my first clue of problems.) We make an appointment for the next day at 1:00pm to review the scope of work and a plan for additional work for an extra patio and outdoor kitchen area. I take a late lunch and leave work to meet him at 1pm at my house. By 2:00, no one has shown up. No one has had the courtesy to call me. I call and ask what happened (voice mail), and to call me back. I go back to work. Still no call. Sunday afternoon he leaves a voice-mail that he can come by that night and discuss the work, and can begin work on Monday am. By this point I have decided I want nothing to do with them so do not return the call, as we are out and involved in family plans all of Sunday afternoon and evening. Monday am trucks roll up to my home at 7am. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! You never met with me, missed appointments, didn't return calls, and you show up to do work? No, that is unacceptable. (in addition, he was not there...it was a totally Hispanic crew that I would not have been able to communicate the scope of work to).

After scheduling, the scheduling manager continued to contact me numerous times, prior to our meeting, to confirm my availability, in which I double checked all the pieces above. Never was I told to allow for a 30minute window, so imagine my frustration when I blocked off an hour for work 2:00-3:00pm, and the guy showed up at 2:30pm, upset with me because I needed to end at 3:00pm. The estimate went quickly. I tried to cover everything we wanted, allowing time for him to take measurements, draw schematics, and have time for follow-up questions, but it felt disconnected and rushed. I was told we would schedule a follow-up Zoom appointment to walk through everything- I scheduled a time period with the scheduling manager, again blocking off work- only to have them call 20mins before the appointment and cancel on us because they weren't ready with information. Then I waited days for them to call back to re-schedule the appointment, but never got contacted. Overall, it wasn't a good relationship. We didn't feel cared for or considered as new clients, so we removed them as a possible vendor.

To date there has been no action taken and my texts are now going unanswered. There is also issues with the lock. If I knew the follow up would be this way, I never would have approved the lender to remit payment without having these issues fixed. I'm providing text correspondences that show the lack of communication and genuine concern with resolving what was a minor issue. David and Omar may come across as friendly, but I highly advise avoiding their resurfacing company…read moreat all costs. Their workmanship was shockingly careless--they rushed the entire project, leaving glaring roller marks, ugly footprints, and divots everywhere from smashed sticks. In the driveway extension areas, they clearly cut corners: the base was practically nonexistent, leading to immediate cracks and weeds springing up through what was supposed to be a "new" driveway. They've come back twice to slap on temporary fixes, but unsurprisingly, the problems keep returning because of their shoddy foundation work. Getting them to honor their warranty was a nightmare and took months of waiting. To top it off, their crew showed zero professionalism--rather than politely asking to use the restroom, they urinated on our shed right in view of our security cameras. Save yourself the frustration and choose a contractor who actually takes pride in their work and respects your property.
