Returned & 3 people were assisting (not sure wHy). The test began before I was in place & I had to yell "stop" afraid I would get hit by the machine. I am disabled & was afraid I would fall. Asked me to pay a $100+ bill on the way out but was told on previous visit (by Lilly) there was no additional charge. I have since received a non-itemized bill in the mail & need to clarify. Also, what's with the v. short chairs in the waiting area no arms. It woud be impossible for me and many adults to rise from them so I have to stand & wait when I get there. THIS RELATES TO THE WATERTOWN OFFICE.

vicky.t.tran@gmail.com 8:24AM (3 minutes ago)…read moreto me I had Invisalign braces at this location, and I do not think they know what they are doing. They have far too many interns, and sometimes they let the interns practice on patients' teeth. One of the interns filed too much off the surface of my two front teeth, leaving them flat and damaged. I complained to the clinic and to my doctor, Anya, but she dismissed my concerns. Here are additional issues I experienced with AP Dental in East Boston: 1. During my Invisalign treatment, they initially gave me a few sets of Invisalign trays. You're supposed to change trays every 1 to 2 weeks. After about 3-4 months, they told me my Invisalign treatment was complete. However, my teeth were still not aligned. I had to push them to continue because I knew my teeth weren't properly aligned. I had braces about 10 years ago, so I am very familiar with the correct position of my teeth. This clearly shows that they don't know what they're doing. 2. During my Invisalign consultation at AP Dental, the front desk staff informed me that the treatment came with a free teeth-whitening package valued at over $300. However, at the end of my treatment, I was given only three small whitening tubes, which cost about $15 each online and are also sold at AP Dental for the same price. This was clearly a case of false advertising. Overall, I would not recommend getting Invisalign at this location. Achieving good, healthy teeth is a serious matter, especially when it involves procedures like filing teeth to align them properly. AP Dental specializes in dental hygiene and clearly lacks experience with Invisalign. It seems like easy money for them, but for patients, the results are what truly matter. If I could go back in time, I would pay a little more to get my Invisalign treatment at an orthodontic office rather than a general dental hygiene office. One small mistake can permanently damage your teeth.

Well, it was easy to get an appointment at least…read more I called because I lost a chunk of tooth (turns out it was a filling that fell out) and I needed it fixed. They got me in the next day!! Just not with the intention of doing anything about my tooth. We did a cleaning. The fastest and least detailed cleaning I've ever had. Also, I told both the assistant and dentist about 2 specific highly sensitive teeth. Both acknowledged the sensitive areas then proceeded to blast those sensitive areas with the rotary polisher and water picks. "I shall do no harm" apparently doesn't apply to dentists. Ignoring specific warnings from patients about painful areas is a bit unethical...also, no one could find anything. All four people who came into my room were running around opening and closing drawers like they lost their car keys. I still don't know if they found what they were looking for. We did X-rays. At the end I find out that Ed aren't fixing my busted tooth, that'll be next week. Today was to establish me as a new patient. Great! Yay! I'm soooo excited for my new dentist.... 5 stars for speed of appointment 1 star fir being attentive to the patient 2 stars for meeting my needs 5 stars for the staff being friendly and courteous 1 star for professional behavior in front of the patient.

Dentist here told me I had multiple cavities, which was odd considering my last dentist hasn't diagnosed me with cavities for YEARS. I wrongfully didn't get a second opinion and ended up having the first few filled that were "more severe" which caused sensitivity to those teeth (didn't even have sensitivity before the fillings). One of the fillings would catch on my floss, I went back for multiple appointments with different dentists in the office and they all said the filling was fine (I suspect they just didn't want to redo it). Lone and behold the filling that they told me was just fine popped out after a MONTH! Do not trust them with your teeth, you'll regret it.

Very kind and smart people at this place. Very easy and straightforward to book appointments and receive care, no hassle. His receptionist was very unaccommodating, was late in signing me in and just plain old unfriendly. However, my experience with the actual dental assistant and dentist was very pleasant and I felt welcome. Unfortunately, it ends there. I scheduled my 2nd check up a month in advance. A week prior, I received a phone call while I was driving but said this wasn't a good time and had to hang up immediately because the weather almost got me into an accident. I never heard from them after that and assumed my appointment was still on. When I arrived I waited in my car, parked outside the building until my appointment time and they never opened. I called and told them that I had an appointment scheduled and I was here but no one else was and to call me back. When the receptionist called me back she was only defensive. She told me she had called and left a message saying my appointment was rescheduled. Two things wrong with this. I wouldn't have woken up at dawn to drive out of my way for a dentist appointment, wait in my car for 30 minutes and waste my time, if I received such a call. Secondly, the appointment should have only been canceled, not rescheduled without my permission. This extreme unprofessional by the receptionist will encourage me to make sure that no one I know ever gives them business. I have never been so treated in my entire life.
