Issues were threefold: - Eric basically represented and used a facility that does its own direct auto transport. When questioned (because they were cheaper) he highlighted his business as better due to a number of factors. None of these ended up coming to fruition. - the Rando he got to transport my car was horrible. Lack of communication or updates. Ended up delivering the car two or three days later than promised (meaning I missed being able to inspect the car). And throughout the process was full of lies regarding arrival time and why he wasn't delivering on time. - car was damaged during transport but because I was out of town for 2 months after the fact and wasn't able to confirm and share this with Eric (because it was delivered late) I had no recourse for costs to fix the damage. - finally, In reviewing his end of year books, Eric got confused about a voided transaction (I had been charged twice initially and there was a void in his books). He assumed that it was me doing it due to my dissatisfaction and charged my credit card again without confirming the issue with me. He left messages while I was in a meeting and then charged my card without confirming. When I called, he apologized for his angry action but for someone who highlights professionalism amongst his traits, I feel this was way out of line. I was going to just leave things as is and not write a review and leave things as they were in August but given the action he took today I felt compelled to warn others.

Their follow-up was outstanding and they provided all the information I needed, answered every question clearly, and made the entire process feel organized and stress free before moving day even arrived. On moving day, Leo and his team were exactly what you hope for (and rarely get). They arrived on time, fully prepared, and completely focused. Every piece of furniture was wrapped with care, fragile items were handled thoughtfully, and nothing felt rushed or careless. What truly sets this team apart is their attitude and teamwork. Everyone was polite, efficient, and clearly experienced, working seamlessly together. They made what is usually a stressful, exhausting day feel completely manageable and honestly, easy. No hidden surprises, no damage, no drama, just excellent service from start to finish. If you're looking for movers you can genuinely trust, Pick and Pack Moving are exceptional. I would hire them again in a heartbeat and recommend them without hesitation.

I convinced then to send a second truck but despite that they left several of my items behind. I was able to make arrangements to get some of them back but others are missing. During the course of the move the lack of proper truck was blamed on me having large furniture. then I was further blamed and gaslit for items being left behind by being told that I gave instructions to leave items. this was a full residential move and I don't know why I'd go to the trouble to pack up boxes to leave them.

My review can be the virtual duplicate of the one by Wayne S. on Sept. 29, 2018. Luckily the auto transport in Nov. 2024 was successful across the U.S., but about 5 months later a $550.00 erroneous charge appeared on my credit card. The call to the company seemed to be one where it was an honest mistake and I was told it would be reversed. No reversal ever came, none of my subsequent phone calls were returned, and none of my letters answered. This company was reputable in 2008 when I shipped 2 vehicles with them. Sad to see what this has become.

I started my search for a reliable enclosed vehicle carrier by looking up this type of business in…read morethe area I was shipping from on YELP. The only one I was able to locate said they could not handle the job since the vehicle wasn't in running condition. Then my husband gave me a list of carriers that he had written down from his current Hemmings publication. Boy, did I learn a lot from those phone calls; rudeness, 6 - 8 weeks wait time, no return phone call, damage to vehicle being shipped unavoidable, etc. Then in the midst of my on-line inquiries popped up an ad for Enclosed Vehicle Transport. I read reviews on this company and knew I found a winner. I called and talked to Kevin who was personable, knowledgeable and reassuring that he could handle the shipping in the time frame that it needed to occur. After interviewing each other on type of vehicle and origination spot/destination Kevin said he had just the driver identified for this job. His price quote was only $50. more than the quotes I had been getting from other companies. When my husband arrived home I proclaimed that I had found the company to handle the move of a valuable 2015 Porsche Cayman. Together we called and once again spoke to Kevin. He immediately emailed us a contract and vehicle shipping request form. His time frame was the end of the week that we called. We asked to delay it by a week and that was no problem. Kevin said he would notify us the day before the move and connect us or our daughter with the actual driver. Being a "nervous Nellie" I started phoning Kevin towards the time the move was going to take place because I feared I would miss his call and foul up the shipping process. Kevin reassured me that he would be politely persistent when he needed to get in touch with us. The day before the move Kevin called both my husband and my daughter to give them the contact info and more precise shipping time frame. After that we left it in our daughters hands since she was going to be the actual contact with them. The driver arrived at the agreed upon meeting location and efficiently handled the photographing of the vehicle, and the loading, strapping down and covering the vehicle with a car cover blanket. The treasured baby was on it's way to reunite with it's owner. The following day it arrived in perfect condition and was off-loaded at the desired location. Thanks Kevin for being such a calm and excellent enclosed vehicle transport company. We know you are the broker but our trust was put in you to have the correct driver identified for the job. You didn't let us down and truly deserve a five star - Woohoo, As Good As It Gets rating!

I was informed that that had been some mistakes made in the estimate and the price was increased. I do believe it was some $1200. On the day of the move. A box truck arrived, and I asked about the semi and he told me that they were going to repack at a different location. Well, that seemed kind of odd because I was told that I would not have half of a semi of material and now I'm being told that it's going to be more so now that he's telling me it's gonna be more he's pointing fingers back at the people I talked to at the company and the company is pointing the finger back at him telling me to both wrong, but of course he's not gonna do anything until I pay him an additional fee I was looking for the semi that they had told me was going to be not quite half field with my belongings when the movers arrived I was informed by the supervisor that this would be more than had expected, and that the area would be more than a half of a semi, but they came with a rental truck that was maybe 24 feet box truck pack this truck at my home and go to the semi and they rit well in the day of the rival on 11 August I was told that they wanted the final payment and it could not be a personal check. It could not be credit card or debit card. It had to be in postal money orders so now I'm on my way to the post office for money orders for some over $4000. Once the movers start bringing the belongings in I see that I have been charged for additional packing and their packaging was and I have photos taking wardrobe boxes and just piling things in on top of each other. No packing material no nothing just pile it in a wardrobe box tape it up and I had several boxes this way and charged for additional packing. This was a nightmare you wouldn't believe but , I'm told that moving is one of the most difficult things that you do well I have moved several times in my life. This is the worst, it could not have been worse. I have other folks property in with my shipment and I am missing several boxes that I packed. I guess you should never say it couldn't have been worse, but it was terrible. Cross country Movers has a number of moving companies that just aresimply called Cross country Movers but my Movers came out of Maryland, and as I said, it could not have been worse. Anyone using this company after I write this review you get what you get. PS I have a new phone and the photos are on a thumb drive. If I can figure out a way to get them off the thumb drive onto the review I will place them there.

I feel like he did everything he could have done but I was still left with a fairly stressful situation. I coordinated with USA Auto Transport in May to do a July pickup for my car to bring it from Virginia to Oregon. Price was fair (about $1800) and I was able to select a 3 day window for pick up. We decided on July 5th - July 7th. My plan was to fly out early July 8th or late July 7th depending on pickup time. On paper this was a perfect schedule. July 5th comes and I hadnt heard anything from the driver yet so I called USA Auto Transport and spoke with one of Nick's colleagues who let me know the driver would call me when theyre about an hour away. I thought that was perfect since it gave me time to still to errands while waiting for the driver. In the afternoon of July 6th while Im working with my household goods mover, Nick calls me and lets me know that theyre not able pick up my car anymore. I asked if it was a money issue or a time issue and he said hes unsure why. That's not really something you want to hear less than 48 hours before youre supposed to fly out across country. He tried working with their logistics teams and drivers to see what happened but we never got a clear answer. His initial advice to me was that he recommended I leave my car in Virginia with someone (not really an option since I dont have anyone Im close enough with to watch my car) or find a new company to ship. Again - with less than 48 hours before my cross county move I was told to find a new vendor. Let that sit with you. In fairness to Nick he did try to get me another date to ship my car but I would be long gone from Virginia by then. I ended up having to quickly call half a dozen businesses before they closed for the day to see if someone could ship my car. To say this was stressful is an understatement. In the end I have to pay almost double for another company to ship my car. Their employees are nice but please, save yourself the headache of a last minute cancellation.

I was quoted a price and pickup / delivery for having my vehicle picked up in Phoenix, AZ and dropped off in Herndon, VA. I was called the day before the pickup by their office and told the driver would pickup the car in the morning and the driver would call me about an hour before to confirm. Call came in the morning and the driver showed up shortly after, inspected the vehicle, loaded it on the trailer and told me the date it would be in Virginia. I booked my flight and low and behold the driver called me on the morning of the promised delivery date to let me know he would be there in an hour. Vehicle dropped off and we both inspected it To make sure all was good (and also confirmed mileage so I could see it was not driven anywhere in between). I was going down to work for 6 months and shipping the vehicle would have been much cheaper then renting a vehicle or using Uber. Six months later I reached out to them and even though pricing had gone up do to driver shortages / rising gas prices and other factors they told me they would honour the old pricing. Reverse order of all above and my car was back safe and sound on the day promised. Such good communication both from Nick the rep and their office and also from the driver and all the stress was taken off my shoulders using them. Other companies will fool you by quoting lower and then charging you more after or the driver will simply not show up at all. Save yourself both heartache and headache and use these guys. I rarely leave reviews but the exemplary service I received prompted me to make sure I did!!
