Exit 87 BBQ is indeed smoking legit barbecue overlooking I-40 as numerous people drive by. And they have a whole bevy of smokers to prove it. The brisket is tender and flavorful with crispy edges. These were generational flies that had ancestors that dated back to the 60's and their families have never left Bozo's after all this time. These things were diabolical and one even bit me on the back of the neck. I mention this because I failed to read to reviews talking about the heat inside and the insane fly population for years prior to my last visit. Apparently, it's been a problem for a long time. It needs to be addressed by the owner, or the Health Department needs to come and make them do something. It's nasty in here plain and simple. Sweaty waitresses bitching about the heat with the customers, no telling how gross the cooks are in the kitchen. I could probably look past some of this if the food didn't suck out loud now.
