We had the best time at Pinto Farms this past weekend! I've visited a few of the farms in Homestead…read moreand this one is my favorite so far. The farm is huge with so many fun activities to enjoy as a family. There's also a brewery and a restaurant inside which is great and made it easy to grab food during our visit. You could easily spend half a day or even the entire day exploring and enjoying all the activities! We went during the pumpkin patch season, which is currently happening and it's super cute! They had different areas throughout the farm decorated for the season which we loved snapping photos at. We enjoyed the paddle boats, tractor ride, cars, corn maze, gem mining, pony ride and bounce pad for the kids. I can't wait to go back! Most of the attractions are included with the entry fee but there are some that require an additional fee. The entry fee is $31 during the pumpkin patch. We bought the gem mining and goat feeding experiences. Both were really nice! If you're looking for a fun way to spend the day with your family, I highly recommend visiting Pinto Farms this fall!

Here at Pinto's Farm in the Redlands area of Miami, FL, I'd like to highlight two sections around…read morethe grounds that made for a worthwhile visit. The first part is the paddle boats. Designed to accommodate 2 passengers, leisurely float down the tropical inlet of a man-made river. Riders can enjoy unlimited paddling trips and it's a nice way to appreciate nature, surrounded by colorfully green waters and palm trees. Next area of the farm to check out is the Petting Zoo. Quickly grab the attentions of goats and sheep by purchasing a small bucket of hay for $5. The animals are not shy and they have endless appetites. Pinto's Farm also has a race track, pony and tractor rides. The Brewery House offers food and refreshments and Pinto's Ice Cream Truck sells handcrafted milkshakes. General admission is $20 per person on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Overall, Pinto's Farm is a pleasant way to spend a few quality hours within the suburban community of Miami, FL.

Edit: In response to the owner: use a different picture or call it something else, friend. You call it skirt steak. Show a skirt steak in the picture. Then the actual product is an inferior cut of meat at an inflated price. Stop being shady--that is why you put a letter asking people not to review (who does that?). Owners of restaurants should post pictures of what they actually serve (not images of someone else's food), and I have done that for you. Good luck.

What a shameful experience at Bamboo!!…read more To add insult to already high prices, Bamboo has started piling on unnecessary fees. I used to frequent this restaurant because the food was consistently good. While the food is still decent, the pricing practices have become unacceptable. I was charged a 3.5% "processing fee." When I asked what it was for, I was told it was for paying with a credit card. The problem? I had never even told them I was paying with a credit card at that point. Then I noticed they charged 8% sales tax. Since when is sales tax in Miami 8%? That immediately raised another red flag. To top it all off, when the payment screen came up, the suggested gratuity options went as high as 24%. By the time you add the inflated tax, the processing fee, and a tip, you're looking at paying well over 36% on top of your meal. Restaurants deserve to make a fair profit, but customers also deserve transparency and honest pricing. Hidden fees and excessive add-ons leave a bad taste, regardless of how good the food is. Unfortunately, Bamboo has lost a longtime customer. I hope management rethinks these practices before they drive away more loyal patrons. Very sad! Then they wonder why the restaurant is empty.
