I know I have already left a review. But I can't say enough about this place. Their food authentic and it's our go to. And Maribel. You are a class act. So caring , so service oriented and dedicated to making customer happy. Maribel goes out of her way to make sure all is okay. I just love this place and love Maribel. They've become family ! Btw the chicken Milanese tonight was so good.

Stopped by Royd's randomly to enjoy some breakfast. The food was a typical breakfast menu, the food was good and we enjoyed everything that we ordered. The coffee was great! They also have a doggie menu, which is a super cute touch. The ambiance is great, super cute. With plants you can look at, plus purchase! You can walk to the back and they have a few farm animals and more plants. We loved spending our morning here. The staff, including the owner, was super friendly and very welcoming. I recommend this place for adults, children and dogs! Definitely check it out if you're in the area.

I came here for brunch with my friends and ended up having such a fun time. The service was amazing from the moment we walked in. They shared menu favorites with us and what fruits were in season for us to know what juices and shakes to pick from. Since it was out first time we decided to try a little bit of everything. We tried their croquetas de jamon, Lario's Signature Appetizer which brought fried plantains stuffed with shrimp and beef, fried yuca, croquetas, tamal and masitas de puerco, and as our main dish we had the Sunday special which was oxtail. The food was delicious and very flavorful. Make sure to as for the spicy sauce. It has such a great kick. Now the food was great, but you know what was even better? The shakes and juices. I tried the mango smoothie and it was a beach getaway in a cup. After our walk around the farm and seeing the animals (goat, pig, calves, and horse) we ordered juices to go. I had the pineapple juice and it was so crisp and refreshing. No artificial taste or too sweet. This place is family friendly and dog friendly. They even have a small dog play area that is fenced.

Came looking for good food and pet friendly outdoor space. Loved the little 2 dog park areas in the back on an overcast day. Surrounded by beautiful plants we indulged in ginger lemonades and delicious Cuban food. Portions are generous and enough to share. Ended up taking some home for next day lunch. Macitas were even better. Service was friendly and parking is easy to find on side street. We will be back again for dinner and bull riding for sure.

Royd's has an unmatched atmosphere, service, and humble homestyle staples. They also have a variety of smoothies that I look forward to trying on future visits. They have a dog menu and butter up Ronan every time we go, so it's easily become one of Ronan's favorite places to be also. Oh, and the cafecito is to DIE for!

This is a neat spot to grab a bite to eat and a healthy refreshing drink after exploring the Monkey Jungle, Patch of Heaven, or the several other farms in the area. The eating area has picnic tables for you to sit and enjoy the music or watch others ride the bull. The wait staff is friendly and grooving to the music while working on your order. There is an area to play bags and enjoy a few drinks with friends. The food is a little pricey around $20 and drinks around $10. The nursery is off to the side if you'd like to buy a few plants! They all looked very healthy and full. Follow the path behind the eating area to visit the Horse, Cows, Goats, Pigs, and Parrots. They offer food you can purchase for $0.50 to feed them and the horse is very friendly to give gentle pets. Overall, highly recommend to visit as a local or passing through the area!

Driving along Krome Avenue looking for a place for lunch and just decided to stop here based on the ratings. It totally didn't disappoint. Such a cute venue. The staff was so friendly and the food amazing. We had fish dip as an appetizer. I had pork chunks that were moist and flavorful. My husband had shrimp creole. I think it had 7 shrimp and he said the tomato was very good. If you like guava there are guava shakes, guava juice and Guava shells with cream cheese for dessert.

Royd's is a Cuban restaurant in the heart of the Redlands. The food is usually delicious, today I ordered 3 ropa viejas with rice, black beans, sweet plantains, and conch fritters. The food was very tasty but the portion sizes were super small. In addition, the wait was very long. Thankfully, we found old friends and we spent time with them while waiting for our food. The place looks amazing and they even have a mechanical bull to ride for $8. We will be back but we will order ahead of time to avoid the long wait.

I ordered some chicken noodle soup on the phone at about 11:15 PM on a Sunday. When I arrived to pick it up I didn't have to wait long. The people working there were very friendly, I felt very welcomed. The inside was beautiful, it's an outdoor place with fans and a roof to keep it cool. They also had many plants around to purchase... on my visit, I'll definitely explore more! I'd like to come back another day to have a meal and try something other than the chicken noodle soup. I ate the chicken noodle soup at home and it was very delicious, my husband had a spoon of it as well and liked it.

Fantastic! The food and service is always wonderful. The croquettes are home made and delicious - sorry, they didn't last long enough for me to photograph.They have traditional Cuban items which taste like home. Delicious shakes. They have a variety of options for everyone, including pets. Ambiance is so nice; you feel as though you are in an old western town. Very welcoming atmosphere. They have a kiddie station and they even have two doggie parks perfect for pups. Highly recommend for a nice day out with family.

Stop here! Out of your way but in the area? Make the detour! We visited early on a Saturday morning. The breakfast was delicious. Order the homemade ham croquettes. Yellow grits, bistec and cafe con leche were very good. Having breakfast surrounded by plants was such a joyful setting. The staff were friendly and professional. Everything was super clean. This place is a gem!

This place is great for an outdoor setting. Expectations were a bit high based on some of the reviews and pictures posted. As mentioned, great outdoor setting, open space for kids and also an area for pets. Went on a Sunday to get a chance to try their oxtail. My wife and I were seated quickly by the amazing hostess, which I believe is the owner and had a waiter attend to us within 10 minutes. Food was ordered and came out relatively fast and all together. Appetizer like the fried plantains and tamal were great, nothing out of the ordinary. The homemade chili was different and had a lot of flavors, loaded with beans. The main entrees of the vaca frita and oxtail were food. However, I expected the seasoning and flavor to be more impactful, but to be honest it stated a bit bland, along with the white rice. I have to admit I've had those entrees taste better elsewhere. I was a bit disappointed. Also, lot of flies and nats as soon as the food arrived. They do provide small little fans but they don't do enough. Your eating with 1 hand while using your other hand to swing away at the flies. If you want to avoid this experience, get a sandwich. Overall great place and would come back, but has a few improvements that can help with the experience.

This place is quite impressive. But, we left without eating. The service is nearly nonexistent. After waiting some time to be acknowledged we drove up and drove up Krome to a Columbian place and bought beers and meat. They are understaffed and the people working seem confused. But we will give them another try. No beer wine or alcohol. So, plan accordingly read more

Flavor! Flavor! Delicious... my table had the watermelon juice, lime juice with ginger, passion fruit juice, fish strips, black beans, French fries and collards. Everything is delicious! You must stop by here and have a bite. The atmosphere is fun.. bull ride, corn hole, and Jenga and other games. The service is wonderful and very friendly! Found this amazing gem and so pleased we went there for our last meal in Miami! It's a Southwestern themed family restaurant that is beautifully landscaped and offers something for everyone: it's a nursery in the back with delicious Cuban-American cuisine (we were so excited for the food that I forgot to take pics). They also offered an animal farm, tons of space for the kids to have fun, there's 2 dog parks, mechanical bull-riding and so much more all topped off with amazing service. Congrats to the owners for creating this very special place! read more

Love this place! Great food made with their fresh produce. Everything was wonderfully prepared. Outdoor covered seating with ample powerful fans. Two adorable kiddy play areas too. What a wonderful place. We checked this place out on a Sunday and we fell in love with it. This place has so much to offer Besides food and a bar, it has a little playground for dogs, games for kids, a bull riding machine, and a little petting farm. The service is great. And the food is delicious. We order the Churrasco and their amazing ham croquettes. If you have not visited this place yet then I highly recommend you do. It's a must. read more

We went on a Thursday right when it was about to close, we were 12 and worried they would refuse us service. The service was 5 stars, the place is amazing for the family, you can easily spend hours with the family, it has an inside play area, a dog park, an outside play area, a bull to ride, you can see the animals at no charge, fresh juices, good food and so much more. The only reason is 4 stars is the main course portions were too small, perhaps it was closing time i dont know but aside from that WOW! Will definitely go back! read more

Property is a restaurant and nursery as has entertainment. The food is EXTRAORDINARY. The chef is Nene from Larios and he's still cooking up a storm. The place also offers shakes and juices ice cream and even has a place for dogs. The place has the most important things you can ask for, ample parking, clean, great food, fantastic service and at a descent price. read more

A very friendly place to stop for lunch! Service was incredibly friendly and helpful. Kid and dog friendly! It's open air, all shaded, lots of big fans. Food was quick and delicious! Expansive menu with lots of options. Little rescue zoo in the back is great for kids. Plenty of room to run around and play while eating. They even brought our dog ice water in a bowl! Food was delicious. Staff were all great! The negatives I had were that it's all outside so it's HOT, they do have fans which helped. They didn't have a changing table for the baby or hooks to hang stuff on in the bathrooms and they also weren't air conditioned, but surprisingly weren't too hot. They did have a cute kids section which was nice for the kids. We will definitely be back. read more

Cute place with a nice idea but the food is not great, came here because of the 4.5 star reviews and scratching my head that they must have paid people to post to make that rating. Ordered 2 empanadas, literally no flavor the chicken tasted like leftover and the beefs was definitely left over as it was ice cold in the middle. Our waitress was less than attentive had to call the owner/manager over who made it right but there are plenty of other places in the Miami area with Fantastic Cuban inspired food that hit the mark each time. This was a one and done for me. read more

Amazing little gem that we discovered via Yelp. Delicious food, friendliest staff, & cute ambience. They have live music 2 times a month. It is outdoors but have tons of fans and huge awnings. I will definitely come back from Moore and bring more friends and family. read more

I came to royds because of the amazing ambiance and activities for kids. When you look at the place the potential is incredible yet they missed the mark. The food was mediocre to say the least. First, our waitress mentioned the sandwiches and burgers were going to take a long time, but how does it 40 minutes to make a sandwich?. The food was not worth it. My husband ordered a burger and it looked and tasted like cafeteria food. I had pan con bistec and it was dry and too salty. The chocolate shakes showed promise but they were watered down... my review is based on the food and service. The service was terrible, we never got waters and our waitress took forever to take our orders.They had live entertainment and the property is truly beautiful. There was a smoker but it wasn't in use so my guess is they didn't have bbq. They were out of a lot of things. We threw $57 down the drain and could've gotten much better food somewhere else read more

Staff were super friendly and the food was soo good. Tried their frog legs and bison burger, and they were so delicious! It was my first time having both and I was seriously impresed and loved what I ordered!! For drinks, we had mango jucies, which tasted very fresh and sweet! The overall atmosphere was great, and after we were done we went to see their animals, and the baby cows were too cute. they ran right up to us like puppies and were super friendly (had a feeling they thought we were bringing them their dinner ). The goats and mini chickens were so adorable overall had such a great experience here, from the food to getting to spend time with the cute critters! read more

Needed a quick bite in the Homestead area with a client and came across this cool gem. The ambiance was very western with Cuban flair. Misleydis was our server and she was very nice and attentive. The menu was extensive so I decided to order the ham croquettes as an appetizer and a mango juice. Both were phenomenal. I went with the Bison Burger for the entree which was also fantastic. Overall, great experience and I highly recommend it. read more

Absolutely phenomenal place! Still undiscovered but when word gets out then get ready! Breakfast was incredible and the service personnel were the best! I have collector cars that I cannot take to many other restaurants due to parking but this place has designated "Classic Car" and motorcycle parking on the weekends! Who does that these days! Royd’s at Gateway Farms and Nursery opened its doors in December 2021. A unique destination that blends the rich traditions of farming and cuban cuisine with the charming ambiance of an Old Western town. On our last visit we picked up native coontie, corky stem passion vine, milkweed, and several flowering natives... oh, and a beautiful croton. My wife also gets large orders of plants from here for her school, and over the years plants and trees from here have transformed her campus into an oasis with birds and butterflies and wonderful shady spots. Casey's Corner is well worth the drive. They participate in a lot of regional events, so always give them a call before you go to make certain they're on site!

We first discovered Lyons in our search for rare Atala butterflies to augment the population at our house... the folks at Montgomery botanical center had recently brought a population of Atala caterpillars to feed on Lyons sizable coontie selection. We were lucky to get a coontie with freshly laid eggs... that was in late September, and they emerged from their cocoons today (late October). They have a wonderful selection of butterfly larval and nectar plants. They have both local and exotic plants also including bamboo, heliconia, and more. When you arrive, park a short way in... a siren will announce your presence, and you'll soon be met by a guide in a golf cart. We've been four times so far, and each time we go we've discovered a new area, and new plants. As you wander around, make sure you look at the amazing mature specimens that dot the property.... such an amazing variety... it rivals a botanical garden!
