Hands-down the most amazing plant nursery around, my wife and I have been buying from here for many years, including native butterfly plants (they usually come complete with larvae), trees, bushes, and bamboo. You'll always get excellent advice here for whatever your landscaping needs! Whatever vehicle we drive down in ends up being filled to the brim with plants. On our last visit we picked up native coontie, corky stem passion vine, milkweed, and several flowering natives... oh, and a beautiful croton. My wife also gets large orders of plants from here for her school, and over the years plants and trees from here have transformed her campus into an oasis with birds and butterflies and wonderful shady spots. Casey's Corner is well worth the drive. They participate in a lot of regional events, so always give them a call before you go to make certain they're on site! read more

Not the best experience...my Valencia orange was FULL of snails as well as ants and dropped all but 3 leaves within a week. The lemongrass was sooooo root-bound and almost dead. The fruit on the cocktail tree is very blemished, I'm not sure what this is but it's not healthy. I really liked Susan, but I'm so disappointed with the plants she sold to me. Also, she only takes cash or (I think) checks. Be sure to go prepared. Also, check your plants really well before you buy them. Don't let them pick them out for you and do a little research before you go. I asked for a really sweet orange and was sold a Valencia instead of the hardy looking navel orange I had picked out :( read more

The plants don't have pesticides so that's why I go here however the owner can be very intense and condescending. You ask her questions and she will respond rudely like if it's something you should know. There is a younger girl that works there who is great and super nice and helpful. Owner, not so much. She really needs a change of attitude. Also, check your plants well as they usually come full of pests. read more

I have been working on a small pollinator garden and wanted to find some coontie plants to try to attract our native Atala butterfly. I headed over to Casey's after doing online research. When I arrived there was a small rain shower but the lady who assisted me was wonderful. Since I visited during the Covid pandemic, we both wore our masks and kept our distance as I marveled over the abundance of native South Florida plants. I grabbed three healthy coontie plants and two swamp milkweed. I really wanted to buy a slash pine, they were so healthy, but I didn't have the space. The prices were extremely fair. She knows absolutely everything about the plants she sells, even the fun little facts that make it that much more interesting and fun. This place is amazing! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable... I came looking for some nice host plants for my butterfly garden and the woman who was attending me (I can't remeber her name :/ ) was answering questions I didn't even think of asking. She was even nice enough to pick some caterpillars off her trees so I could speed up my gardens butterfly variety! By far the best nursery I've ever had the pleasure of shopping at. Quite simply the Best place for Florida Native plants and flowers, Most of the plants are non-poisonous to your pets and children and friendly to the eco system. I for one love plants that draw Butterfly's and Hummingbirds. Not like the surrounding big nurseries that cater to commercial production. Casey's Corner is set up for the casual shopper who doesn't want to travel around on a golf cart to far corners to see different varieties. They have it set up with rows of similar varieties so you can compare all in view. Very helpful staff. More than happy to answer all your questions and give great suggestions. Not just typical varieties. Nice little specials setting about. Like a lantana trimmed into a lollypop. Beautiful. Going back to get another one. Our butterflies favorite. Introduced us to the cocktail citrus. A citrus tree where each limb is a different fruit. Ours has naval orange, tangerine, grapefruit, lime and lemon. Perfect for out small yard. We planted it 2 years ago and it is going crazy bearing fruit. Plan on spending some time here. Not only to learn but to just enjoy a great concentration of the best nature has to offer. read more
