Raja Puri and Dwarf Red Banana plants!
    Kristin C.

Did you know there are sweet bananas, sugar acid, and sugar starchy? Did you know there are 3 foot plants to 12 foot plants? Did you know there are plants just for decoration? Did you know that the bananas at the grocery store look pathetic once you see the variety available? If you're looking for a real banana, check out "Going Bananas." It really is simply someone's large backyard so please be respectful when you visit. You ring to be let in. I'd recommend calling ahead to be sure of hours too. I am so glad I made the trek out there to Redland, though. It was worth it. Don't go Friday midday, though. All the farmer's market vendors were buying their produce, and the owner was inundated. However, he tried to patiently show us through the different types of bananas and help us pick out the right plant. When they finally all left, he took us on the tour of the grounds, much of it not a part of the nursery but his hobby. It was so beautiful and peaceful. We bought a few plants and also some bananas to take home. The owner was very kind and knowledgeable. I'd highly recommend checking it out for the fruit or banana plants for sale.

I love coming here! I have bought 3 banana varieties from them so far - Namwa, Saba, and Hua Moa. Great quality plants, and if they have the fruit they will let you try before you buy. Gave me a great tour of the farm and they are the nicest people on earth! They have a very good customer fertilizer for sale. They have an interesting selection of bananas as well as the more commonly grown. I highly recommend you get your bananas here.

Great place to shop for banana trees. Owners were very nice and I received a tour and sample of the Nam Wa banana from which I just had to by the tree. They are delicious!

So my entire family and some friends decided to take a field trip to this farm and we were soo amazed of how well kept and beautiful this banana farm was. The owners are extremely sweet and of course highly educated. My father wanted to come and check out the different varieties of bananas which we were surprised of how many kinds there were! They also let us try the different kinds they had available which they were all delicious and sweet! Their prices are pretty good and they also educate you on what the tree needs if you take it home. If you are in the area or need some good banana trees then you need to come here!

Today's field trip to Georgie's Paradise was spectacular! I was greeted by gentleman with a green…read moreshirt and answered a few questions as to which type of plants I was looking for, and my journey began. The place is absolutely beautiful! All the plants are healthy, thriving, and luscious. I immediately thought... This is going to be expensive boy was I wrong, I ended up getting a plethora of plants, including a ginger plant, and Monstera, a small kettle chip looking plant possibly a jade, a thriving burgundy vine and much more and spent only about $60. Wow!!!!! I'll definitely be back.

If you are looking for plants you need to come to this section of Krome Avenue in the Redlands…read more There is an amazing amount of plant nurseries concentrated in this area. Some of the nurseries have added food, animals, and attractions, so it is really fun to come out and explore here. Georgie's Paradise is located towards the end of the strip of nurseries. It is really huge and it looks like it goes on for a mile. I couldn't even walk back that far. Trees ornamental and fruit, plants full sun or shade, flowers. orchids, cactus, they have it all. At Georgie's you can get help directly from the owner, Sandra Sauma. The array of plants is really amazing. They also have a cute monkey theme throughout the nursery owing to Bella the capuchin monkey. There is a very nice monkey topiary over a koi pond. When it is time to spruce up your outdoor space come to Georgie's where you will find great service, selection, and prices.
