To be honest it was still a little expensive considering they were driving from Wilmette to Northfield to Glencoe, but less than the other: $840 for a 3 hour minimum for a party bus of 28. We also didn't need it for the entire 3 hours, but the options I found were either one way or 3-4 hour minimums so this was the best deal. I found their communication to be stellar both via email and text. The bus driver was on time and the kids had no trouble locating the party bus when they came out of the dance and I've heard it was one of many party busses. A few of my daughter's friends hopped on for the way home and commented that this bus was way nicer than the one they took to the dance from another company. Overall, it was a success. The parents could have easily driven these kids ourselves, but the party bus elevated the experience and the kids all seemed to enjoy the VIP treatment.

First, the photos and descriptions on the website are very misleading. The trolley looks modern, clean, and well-equipped in the images, but in reality, it appears to have had little to no upkeep. The bar areas were dirty, there was no ice as promised, the TVs didn't work, and there was no light show. The heat and defrost didn't function, which made for a very uncomfortable ride on a cold night. Additionally, the blinking lights throughout the trolley suggested an electrical issue, which was not only annoying but also concerning. On top of that, the driver was rude and unprofessional, further souring the experience. While the company did issue a $200 refund, it was nowhere near adequate for the significant shortcomings of the service, especially considering we paid $930 for three hours. I suspect the overwhelmingly positive reviews for this company are not entirely genuine, as my experience does not align with the five-star reputation presented online. I hope this review serves as an honest account to help others make an informed decision. While I appreciate the partial refund and the memories my group and I made in spite of the circumstances, I would not rent from this company again. If Limotainment wants to maintain their reputation, they need to improve the upkeep of their vehicles, ensure amenities match the advertised descriptions, and prioritize customer service. Attached are two photos of how the trolley looked when the lights were off, and then when they popped on all by themselves. You'll notice the old fashioned, kitchen-like fixture in the ceiling. Nothing like the laser light show in the photos that's on the website. I wish I had taken photos of the empty dirty bar areas, with no ice that was also supposed to be provided.

The air conditioning in the back of the bus was not working, there was a strong moldy odor inside the vehicle, and there was water on the floor. When this was brought to the driver's attention, he said the AC would begin working once the bus started moving. After he drove the bus and returned, it was still blowing warm air and he mentioned that the coolant light had come on. Because the bus was clearly not usable in that condition, the owner later arrived with a replacement bus. While we appreciated that the kids were ultimately able to get to prom, the group ended up leaving approximately 40-45 minutes later than planned. When I asked if there might be any consideration for a discount due to the condition of the original vehicle and the delay, the owner repeatedly stated that "it's not about the money" but declined to offer any adjustment. During the conversation she also mentioned several times that she had come from a funeral and referenced a small pickup time change. Unfortunately, there was never an apology for the condition of the original vehicle or the delay. When I mentioned that I would be leaving a review about the experience, the situation escalated and she stated that she would not take the kids after they were already seated on the bus ready to leave. At that point we simply asked that the kids be taken safely to their destination. To make matters more concerning, another parent later saw the original bus broken down less than two miles from the pickup location, which raised additional concerns about the condition of the vehicle. I reached out privately to the company first to give them the opportunity to address the situation before posting publicly, but never received a response. For events like prom where parents are trusting a company to safely transport their kids, the condition and reliability of the vehicle should never be a question. I would still be happy to update this review if the company is willing to resolve the situation. Update: After posting this review, the owner contacted me directly to discuss the situation. She apologized and issued a partial refund. I appreciate her reaching out to address the concern.

I'm unclear as to why the limo didn't show, however, I find it hard to believe that if the limo wasn't coming that the owner and driver weren't communicating with each other for someone to call me.
