About 5 mins later, she finished with the customer checking out, and told us we could just go sit anywhere. There are no menus passed out, there are just specials written on a chalkboard. Apparently, there are other items available because I witnessed people ordering them, but I didn't see any paper menus, so I felt like I had to order from the specials. The Friday special was beef tips. Not something I'd normally go for, I'm not sure if I've ever even tried them before. Our waitress asked how I wanted them cooked so I said medium rare. They came with a choice of mushroom gravy or peppers and onions. We both chose mushroom gravy. Our food was taking a while to come out. Long enough to wonder if we were forgotten, as we watched other patrons come and go and pickup orders going out the door. She eventually came back and informed us that they were out of mushroom gravy, but we could do peppers and onions instead. We said that was fine. A few more minutes went by and they finally brought our food out. No peppers or onions. The beef tips definitely were not med-or med rare, but they were still good and most of the pieces were tender, although they were all different sizes so some were overcooked. Still a great flavor to them and the sides were yummy. Our waitress came back to say they were working on the peppers and onions. By the time she came back the second time, we'd finished eating our food. She apologized that no one brought them out to us. Oh well. The food was good enough that I'd come back, but be aware you might be waiting for a while.

He was able to modify the burger with mozzarella and marinara sauce instead of fried breaded mozzarella. It was wonderful! The handcut fries were yummy. They have a condiment/salsa bar too. Before leaving, I suggested that they put on their menu somewhere that GF options are available. He told me when they started, one kid was coming in weekly needing a GF bun. They tested many buns until they found this one that holds up well. We thought it tasted like a potato roll and was thrilled that it did not crumble at all!! The property is nice, nothing fancy but clean and well maintained. We arrived around 12:30p and there was no one in the restaurant but quite a few golfers in the bar area. We sat next to the windows so we could see the golf course and the pool area. There's a lot of outdoor seating so they can accommodate large crowds. The menu offered pretty basic options. We ordered the fried mozzarella sticks, which were good. My guest ordered the Cedarbrook salad, which she enjoyed. I had the chicken salad sandwich on sourdough bread with chips. Our server was very nice and helpful. I generally try to avoid public restrooms but sometimes it's a necessity. The lady's room was immaculately clean, which is a huge plus for me. I would like to return when they have their buffet open but think that may just be in the evening. I plan to return and dine here again.
