Honestly, it is difficult to find a good nail salon in deep ETx. I had been going to another salon in Lufkin for many years, but my two preferred manicurists had quit when I called to make an appointment. So, I took a chance on Royale Nail Spa in the Target shopping center. Diane was my manicurist at Royale and she did NOT disappoint. I always get the basic and expect my feet to be well scrubbed, my nails to be well trimmed and filed and any excess skin or ingrown toenails to be handled without pain. Diane checked every box. I will definitely go back and if the service is as good as it was today, this will be my new go-to nail salon. read more

After seeing all of the great reviews, my daughter and I drove from an hour away to get pedicures and after standing up for almost 20 minutes and them telling us they would get to us soon then the owner comes in Robinson ( I believe) and tells us he'll be with us as soon as he can get tubs cleaned.... So we stand another 10 minutes before he comes back and says "oh it's going to be at least 30 minutes of a wait so would you like to come back another day?" So I said no problem we aren't waiting and we drove an hour to get here. They won't get a dime of my money and the place smelled so strong of chemicals just like anywhere else. Tried this place for the first time yesterday. Needed to change, was not happy with my prior nail salon. I was very pleasantly surprised! They were not busy. There were only three people working but there were only three of us being worked on :-) I went at 1 o'clock. Vickie did a great job even though she did not have the same pink the previous nail salon used she did a fantastic job and made my nails more beautiful than before. I will definitely go back and I will definitely tell my other daughters who are not satisfied with the other salon either to try Royale salon. read more

I hate complaining about a business but I am still in disbelief about the experience i had. A younger pregnant lady started my nails and I told her I wanted short coffin nails. My thumb, pointer, middle finger, on my right hand s a bit crooked. Although my ring finger on my right hand is completely off. I even told her and she just took a file to it that did not fix it obviously. Next thing I know the lady starts crying (literally) and I didn't know what to do besides tell another nail tech to get her some water and I was asking if she was okay. She then gets up (I told her if she needed to it was Okay because I wasn't sure what was happening) and goes outside on her phone and the other nail tech went out after her. About 10 min later a guy sits down and starts working on my nails. Few min later The lady comes back in with the other nail tech and they are yelling at each other making a huge scene. I don't know what they were saying obviously so I don't know what they were fighting about but they were yelling and making a big scene in front of everybody. The other nail tech starts packing up her things off of her desk and they're still yelling at each other. And then close to being finished she comes back and she starts finishing my nails. But all in all I understand things happen but that's a business you shouldn't bring situation like that to make your customers feel uncomfortable. My nails do not look good at all you can see through them they're crooked pretty much every last one and you can see parts where they didn't even paint because they missed it. And on top of that my thumb is cut. Me and my 3 friends drove 30 minutes to get here and had appointments at 1:15. they took 2 of us but didn't take the other 2 until around 2 pm. ALL 4 OF US BLED. they were very rough/careless when handing our nails. I asked to get white dip powder but was told my nails were "too long" to get white which makes no sense so I had to settle for a pink. We also got the same thing but were all charged a different price????? It was unclear who the manager was but all of the employees were arguing with each other which was very unprofessional. I would give 1 star but since my nails turned out not horrible i gave another star. Will not be returning. read more

There's a full price list that's posted when you walk in so you know what you're getting. Staff will take care of you and offer drinks while entertaining you with stories if you're a talker. Will definitely come back! read more
