I took a couch cushion cover with a broken zipper to Royale Cleaners on December 28. I asked if they could replace the zipper and the lady said of course but it would cost $85. I thought this was high but it was fix it or replace the couch so.... Today is March 28 and I still have no cushion cover. I have been back weekly and have been given every imaginable excuse but no cover yet. Today I told them I wanted my cover or my money and she begged me to wait and she would deliver it to my house on Saturday. We'll see. So disappointed. I took a comforter to them to wash. It was in perfect condition. When I opened it to put on my bed, there was 3 straight cuts into the comforter. I fully understand that accidents happen. However, I was treated very rudely, like I was trying to pull a fast one on them. They said that I must've done it, that they didn't do it. So, today, 3 and a half weeks later, I actually get my jacket back... The owner rolls up in a white van, takes customers clothes out, while dropping a pair of khakis mind you, then comes in. He found my jacket, and actually asks for $10 AFTER I point out he didn't even sow the button on, which is what I initially went there for! WTF?!?! We argue for a few minutes and then he gave up. I'm not sure how this place is still in business after all these years. I'm born and raised in Concord and am 41 y.o. This place has been here since I can remember. I figured a place with such a long history has to be good. It wasn't. By far the most bizarre experience I've had at a dry cleaner. The first time I went I asked about alterations and the guy said he didn't know about that and he'd have to ask the owner. How do you not know what services the business you work for provides? I tried getting my clothes cleaned there twice. Both times they came back uncleaned and wrinkled.
