Hi, I'm a single mom who booked an appointment here to relax. Even though money is tight, I've always loved Nina's work, so when I can afford it, I come in. I've even left a positive review here before because of how much I loved her work and the service. I booked a manicure and pedicure with Nina, but somewhere there was a miscommunication about my appointment. When I arrived, she seemed surprised that I also wanted a pedicure. She told me to sit and said she would send someone else to help me, then continued working on another client. I sat there for about 20 minutes, maybe longer. It's really hard for me to get alone time, so I was still trying to stay positive and feel grateful I was even there. Eventually, someone started my pedicure, but I had to let him know I needed to leave to pick up my daughter from daycare. I even offered to come back the next day, which was really disappointing, but I understand mistakes happen and sometimes things take longer than expected. I asked to speak with a manager about possibly getting a discount due to the inconvenience. I explained the situation, but the woman I spoke to said she couldn't help because the manager was sick. I've never seen this assistant manager before, but she handled the situation completely incorrectly. Things then started to escalate. The man helping me came up, and she began speaking aggressively to him about my toes not being done. I stepped in to say it wasn't his fault--it was a scheduling issue, and I wasn't upset, I just felt a discount was fair since I'd have to come back. At that point, Nina came over, and suddenly there were multiple upset employees in front of me. I have anxiety from past experiences, and the situation made me feel extremely overwhelmed. I even started to tear up, which was honestly embarrassing. When they came back, the man doing my toes asked why I didn't say anything sooner or that I needed to leave. I explained that I didn't want to rush anyone and understood that sometimes services take longer than expected, which is why I was okay with coming back. The assistant manager then raised her voice at me, waving her hands and saying she had told Nina about my pedicure. I told her I didn't understand why she was raising her tone with me, and she said it was because I kept bringing it up. I explained I was only answering her coworker's question and trying to make sure he understood it wasn't his fault. I am a very patient person, and I paid for nails I didn't even like. I was there for about three hours and still left with one foot undone due to their scheduling mistake. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable--just to pay for my manicure and receive a small discount on my pedicure since I had to go out of my way to come back. It got to the point where I was crying and even raised my voice back, which is completely out of character for me. I eventually told her we didn't need to continue the conversation because she kept arguing with me. I have never left a nail salon in full panic attack mode before--this was honestly shocking. Another woman even left while I was there because they messed up her daughter's appointment, and she was very upset as well. I will say Nina did a good job on my nails, and the man helping me was kind, so I still tipped them both. But overall, this experience felt very unprofessional. This is my first time ever leaving a negative review, but I would not recommend this salon. read more

Went to this place for the first time and I am impressed. I booked an appointment at 10 and got taking care of right away. My nail tech was Hansen and he impressed me with the attention to detail and straightforwardness on the cost. I made an appt for myself and 2 others but it seems they don't take appointments seriously because when we showed up they put us in the spa chairs and we sat there until the water was getting cold before anyone started on our pedicures. Seemed like they completely forgot every 5 minutes that I wanted a full set as well so they didn't even start until my pedicure was completely done and dry. I think the pedicure came out great. I don't usually get a full set for my nails but I'm about to go on a vacation and somehow broke 3 nails in 3 days and decided to go for the cuter option rather than ignore how uneven my nails would be. But they didn't fill my whole nail bed on some of my fingers, the lengths don't match and some look more bubbly than others. Had I not been eager to leave after my 3 hour visit, I would've pressed to get it fixed but it was clear neither they or I wanted to be there anymore. It was also my daughter's first time getting acrylics and they were pushy, looked annoyed with her inexperience, and kept adding on their fees for every little thing they could without asking me. At least my daughter knew to ask me before giving any ok. Too many other options in the area that I'll try instead next time! read more

i absolutely love this place ! i've gone to A LOT of nail salons around Murrieta but this the best one i've been too. The people here are so friendly and prices are pretty cheap ! The past couple of time's i've been getting my acrylics done by this older man with glasses (unfortunately i don't know his name) he is one of the BEST acrylic nail artists i've been too in the area. He's so neat and makes my nails literally spotless. He really cares about your nails and it shows. I recommend this nail salon for anyone who wants acrylic !! read more

My wife made a pedicure appointment a few days ago. The time was set for 10:00am July 5th. I showed up on time and was promptly asked by Mai if I could wait a few minutes, when I asked how long, she never answered. After a few minutes a young man came over and asked if could wait 40 minutes. I was irate and said I would go somewhere else. I thought their actions were disrespectful and rude. I got a gel manicure and gel pedicure here yesterday with a bridal party group because I am a bridesmaid in a wedding this week. The nail artist must not have applied the gel correctly because today, the day after I got my nails done, I took my shoes off and I was shocked to see that the polish on my toes had completely warped and, on some toes, rubbed right off! Mai was amazing during my pedicure. She had such attention to detail and I was so afraid of getting cut (as I usually do during some pedicures) but not this time! Mai was so great, and gentle, but had a firm massage, which I love. Prices are fair, and they have four different pedicures, $10 apart from each other. Pedicures are great and last a long time but after giving acrylics a try, unfortunately I don't think I would return. I called ahead of time and got quoted $65 for short French tip acrylics. My nails were so short (as I requested) to the point where they were barely longer than my natural nail. Once I went up to the counter I was told my total would $75. I asked her where the extra $10 came from and was told that because I asked for my French tip a little thicker that it's an additional charge. That should have been told at the time when I requested that the French was thicker. Less than a week later my nails were already lifting and the quality was not good, I called and asked if there was a manager or owner I could speak to and was asking if it was possible to have them fixed by someone else or at least a partial refund and they told me they didn't have an owner and they barely speak English so it just seemed pointless to continue, so I went and spent another $50 at another place to have them fixed. Overall the work was mid but I'm very disappointed in the last minute price change at check out, it didn't seem loyal or honest to me and I would never pay $75 for something so bad. read more

Specifically, I went in for French nails, but the way he did it was so wonderful I ended with a light blush color that was both classic and feminine.
