This Texas girl was happy to be back here as I found some really great gems while digging here. Pricing here is fair but I was not expecting to really come under what I wanted to spend here because I was able to find a few albums I had on my Discogs Want List at half price. One of the records I was able to find was an early 1990's copy of a Beastie Boys LP. I held on to that record so tight as I continued my browsing. I was able to walk out with an early pressing of Pacific Northwesterners / riot grrl band Sleater-Kinney. I took so good care of these records as I flew back with them to bring them home with me to Austin. Staff here was friendly and super cool. I saw several people come in to sell things and they navigated that sale with checking me out super efficiently. The area was cool to hop around too. Thanks for the fun browsing! Dedicated to real punk. Did not have some mainstream bands but overall great curation of items and vinyls/CDs. They also have decor, old posters or signs from different shows, some T-shirts, DVDs, cassettes and even VHS. My brother loved this shop. He's a curator and big fan of vinyls and punk/pop/punk/metal and he really enjoyed this store. Super friendly and knowledgeable associates at the store as well. Now before I rant and rave anymore it must be said without certain bands in Seattle before Sup Pop started, there would be no Sup Pop, so it's time these bands get a shout out for being the original Seattle scene: TKO CULPRIT OVERLORD  ( Grunge before Grunge ) The Heats The Cowboys Shadow The Wild Dogs (Portland Band) I'm sure I left out a few but without these bands you would have Pearl Jam, Mother Love Bone or Alice N Chains. What a great store catering to the Seattle Sound " GRUNGE " music. I purchased countless SWAG items and several lp's for the collection on my shopping spree. Hell I even bought a cd special addition from ALICE in CHAINS. No downloads at this store it's real organic old school music purchasing. For you millennial children you actually have to pay for your music like we all did a long time ago. So get with the program and keep music alive by buying at Sup Pop. So now that I've said that FRANK gives a double thumbs up for turning Seattle into music history. I may not like all the artists from Sup Pop however I'm glad there here.

This one has the better environment if I am being honest, its a corner side of a building store and has cool T-Shirts, books, mugs, turntable mats, etc .....all kind of SubPop merchandise. Its just a retail store to be fair - but worthy of the stop if you are into SubPop records. There is not a huge selection here, but enough to find something cool to take home. I ended up picking up a few souvenirs and chatted with the guy in the shop (super-friendly) Worth a visit!

Staff was informative and helpful, as I was curious about some of the vinyl records, I've collected, from my younger days (yes! I'm that old. Lol ) also from my parents, some great late sixties and early seventies music, and my sister(past) more late seventies and early eighties music. And sone recently gifted music from a sweet redhead. They informed me that, bringing in some of the rarities I've collected, they can help, evaluate it's worth. Lots of fun, reminiscing about the record stores of the seventies and eighties. There's a huge selection of old vinyls, cassettes, CD's, and movies and categorically organized by genres. All the vinyls are meticulously graded as well, which I appreciated as not every record store will take the time to do this. Fun place to go digging for old classics. The person behind the counter was friendly and didn't make us check bags or give us a hassle about carrying a sealed bottle of water. It's pretty standard to check your bags in some Seattle establishments (especially museums or other high traffic area!), so not sure why there are complaints for that here.
